In the room where Mourning Dove slept, a faint rolling sound could be heard. It came from the corner where a trembling white kitten with baby blue eyes and a frail body resided, rolling an object under his paw. It was cool and round, coloured with maybe a million different shades colour, although the kitten would never know its appearance, nor the sound which came from it every time he moved his paw. All he knew was that it was a pleasant feeling, something that he didn't experience all that often. The kitten was named Merle and he was the deaf, blind and mute son of Mourning Dove. He could often be found in this room as it held the familiar and comforting scent of his mother. Merle was very much a family oriented child.

The call did not attract the brother of Jacki, but her scent did. Nose twitching, Merle stumbled - probably his only pace right now - over to the femme and attempted to nudge her in greeting. He liked his sister, although he did not know why, seeing as they had not communicated much due to… difficulties. Maybe he just liked her and needed no reason.
