Patriam is the second smallest of all of the continents, and can be described as the mountainous plains of the habitats. It has a rather mild climate with light rain often. Tornadoes and Thunderstorms are common in Patriam, but sunny days are most often in store for weeks on end. The sun mixed with the occasional rainfall makes it a perfect place for domesticated flowers and other plants.
In the center of Patriam there is a giant Palace where the meetings are held, and the Gods and Goddesses, past and present, watch over the clan. The palace itself is made out of many pastel minerals and gems, including different shades of quartz, pearl, and marble. When entering the Palace, the entrance way has no doors, and is very large to accommodate any creature, specifically dragons, who were believed to be gods in past times. Inside, the floors are made of marble sheet, and the ceiling is a high arch that is exquisitely decorated and carved to portray the galaxy, as well as many planets. It is the most garish of the palace, and is speckled with all types of jewels that make it quite a spectacle to newcomers and visitors. The main hall is generally empty except for many marble columns draped in hanging moss and other natural plants that have crept there way in. Many plant boxes made of stone are lining walls and flanking doorways into other halls or stairwells, and they are commonly filled with the current flower that most pleases the Gods and or Goddesses.
The far back wall of the main entrance opens up into the largest room of the Palace, the Ball Room. Tables, chairs, and a marbled dance floor are prominent features in this room. Plants hang everywhere, and there is a large window that makes the entire room seem very church-like due to the lightly stained tint of the glass, casting a delightful blue across the dance floor.
The main hall also branches out into two separate hallways on the first floor, which access kitchens, dining rooms, and an old, empty library. The first floor hallways also access the stairwells down into the dungeons, which are also made out of the delightfully pure materials as the rest of the Palace. Many torture rooms are also down there, as well as storage rooms for alcohols and other preservable things.
There is a single stairwell up into the second floor of the palace which overlooks the main hall with a balcony style structure. There lies one hallway that arches in the shape of a U, branching out into only two more hallways which stretch down on top of the Ballroom, where one may also gaze down onto the dance floor. Lining these hallways are spacious rooms for any and all visitors or new joiners who wish to stay in Patriam.
Finally, going up the stairwell once more brings one to the third floor of the Palace, where there is only a single, large parlor room. This room has two doors, one leads out into a hallway, and the other leads into what was once a Study. Since the God Io's reign, the old Library had all of it's scrolls and books moved up into the study where Io could easily access them. And so, anyone wishing to find a book or other document must travel to the third floor in search of it. Many who are old enough to say describe how much more organized the library once was compared to how Lord Io left it.
In the next door, which leads out into the hallway, there is a line of many doors. One is the sun room, which is the room with the most windows in the entire palace. It is commonly used for the Oracles to grow and dry out herbs, as well as keep their storage there. This room also has large drapes to pull over the windows to keep the herbs out of the sun for preservation. The next couple rooms are used for any high positions, such as the Demigods or Fates, to sleep. The final room is the room of the Gods. Upon entering, one will find two thrones to their left with a long carpet rolled out towards the balcony to the far right. There is also a white drape hanging behind the thrones, which is there for privacy, as the God's quarters are just behind it. Nobody really knows what it looks like, as it is cleaned out and changed whenever a new God is in ruling.
Outside, the Palace is surrounded by a beautiful garden that was once dead and dull. Now, it thrives thanks to the caring, tender help of Callisto, the First Goddess of Modern Stellarclan. She gave the plants life and brilliance to be able to grow on their own for centuries to come. Within this garden are beautiful, ancient marble statues, fruit trees of many kinds, as well as plenty of rocks to sun oneself on. There are various little streams running through it from natural springs within the camp area. The garden encircles the entire palace, and is only stopped by the large, natural barrier that protects the main camp from almost any danger.
The camp is surrounded by a large, circular mountain range. Caves run rampant through them and prove an easy entrance and exit into the garden, and a more preferable way compared to the otherwise vertical climbs through the mountain range.
Just outside of the range is the remainder of Patriam. A large expanse of plains, flowered meadows, and small woodlands, Patriam is generally standard. Many edges of the continent end in a large cliff which leads down to the beaches of Bellus, as Patriam is largely a Plateau.
