"Th-thank you very much.", the young apprentice replied with a respectful nod of the head. She wasn't sure if the gifts had to be approved by a higher up so she decided not to touch them for now. "Can I-I get you, um, anything. Maybe water p-p-perhaps? It gets p-pretty humid here.", Mari offered.

"Are y-you, um, s-self taught?", the shy apprentice asked. She too had been lured by the sweet melody and had sat off to the side to listen. Mari was a little curious to what he was singing about not knowing a drop of Spanish. Wow, her clanmates were pretty talented. It made the grey-eyed girl a bit jealous. She wasn't good at anything in particular but who knew maybe one day she'd find something she was good at.

"Is th-there anything I c-c-can get you?", Marionette offered feeling as concerned as her other clanmates. Spanishlullaby didn't look too good. Perhaps he was sick? Maybe he was having a rough day... Either way the young apprentice would try her hardest to help out her clanmate as much as she could.

Mari took a seat, interested in participating. The young apprentice didn't know much about herbs or any useful healing techniques. She had once participated in a healing seminar back in her birthclan but it was so long ago that she only remebered a few things.

The new territory had definitely been a big change for Mari. The grey-eyed girl had spent most of her child hood living in the city so it was definitely a transition. However, the black femme had come to like her new home. Today she had decided to do some exploring. Her goal for the day was to take a walk around the entire main island ,or at least a chunk of it since the territory was rather big in size. She was on one of the beaches at the moment admiring the movement of the sea waves. The sea seemed a bit scary. It was so vast and large anyone could easily get lost. The waves could just come up and snatch you in. It was different from living next to a lake. You knew there was an end to the lake. But the ocean? It seemed endless. For this reason Marionette didn't go too far up to the waves, a bit afraid that they might just snatch her up.

Mari allowed Jiyu to put on her jacket as she did her best to slip on the mittens and hat. "Wh-why did you, uh, pick here t-t-to live? Um, if you d-don't mind me a-asking.", the young girl asked out of curiosity as they prepared themselves to go outside. Visiting the ice island had given her a chance to see snow for the first time in her life. She thought it was beautiful, especially when the sun hit it. Snow seemed magical to the black femme. It made the world seem as if it was covered with precious crystals. Her only annoyance with the winter wonderland was the cold. However, the cold did give her an excuse to cover herself with warm blankets which was something she didn't mind doing at all.

Mari gave Spanish a sympathetic smile as he replied and decided to stay for a bit longer just to keep him company. That was the least anyone could do. Her grey eyes watched her mother silently as she placed a paw on their hurting clanmate. Marionette hoped Jiyu could help him. They seemed to be at a personal level.

"W-well I haven't seen, uh-um, much of th-the islands, or any of the i-islands yet. I-I've just s-started exploring the t-t-territory.", Mari replied taking a seat next to the child,"The beach is a n-nice p-place though. It's really relaxing here and s-smells nice." The black femme pondered the question for a bit longer staring into the ocean,"I-I, um, like the ice island a lot t-t-too. I f-forgot the name though but that's where m-my mother lives. Maybe th-that's why I like it s-so much."

"Name and business please.", the grey eyed girl said as she approached the stranger. She smiled on the inside realizing that she hadn't stuttered like she usually did when she spoke. Would it wrong to be proud of herself for that? Maybe it was a little silly but it was an accomplishment for her. She focused back on the wolf waiting for his reply.

Marionette paused for a moment taking in the name. She didn't know much of Shadowclan despite being apart of the clan but she did recall that name. "Oh, um, I-I'm sorry but, um, he w-was captured by Th-the Exiles.", the white-spotted girl stuttered suddenly remembering the Leader's son. She didn't believe he was back yet. She wasn't sure if they had sent a rescue party yet.

All the apprentice could offer was a sympathetic look. She wasn't really good a comforting people as usually the one being comforted was herself. "H-hey. Trust me w-we'll get him b-b-back. I p-promise.", she wasn't sure if it was a promise she could keep or even make but she felt like she had to. Mari felt her own tears coming up as she watched Forgottenpaw break down. "I-Is there anything, um, I can g-g-get you?", the young girl asked genuinely wanting to help the stranger but not knowing how.

"I-I'll be coming t-t-too.", Mari stated taking a seat next to her mother. Yeah, she was a bit nervous or maybe more than just a bit. She wanted to impress Jiyu and Radiantmemories more than anything. She wanted to prove herself worthy of being their daughter. On the outside she made sure to make herself look confident and she succeeded. Anxiety was well hidden behind her serious expression,"I'll help k-keep the Exiles distracted."

"I-I'll look out f-f-for you.", the grey-eyed girl offered to Forgottenpaw with a smile. The Windclanner obviously cared for his friend and Mari would try her best to get them re-united. They'd get him back. She doubted Rookfeather would settle with leaving The Exiles without Stiles.
