  • You can't choose what stays (private) and what fades away

    Today Mari was doing something besides wandering the halls of the abandoned apartment complex she called home. That was her usual routine at least, social anxiety had gotten in the way of trying to make friends so the white spotted she-kit usual spent hours wandering the abandoned building like a lost ghost. This time she actually found something worth finding. Nestled just on the other side of the glass of a hallway window sat a pigeon nest. Little did she know the nest was abandoned for a reason. Two life-less eggs were left behind for the black femme to marvel at.

    "Th-thank, sir.", the white-spotted kit said with gratitude giving him a nervous smile. Mari didn't notice Coldkit's jealous look, too busy making herself promise to never become a medic. What if she accidentally poisoned a patient. She wouldn't be surprised if she ended up mistaking a poisonous plant for milkweed or something stupid. That's what she was stupid. The black femme did this too herself, she scolded herself, didn't even think of herself as smart at all. What if she wasn't smart enough to do anything? She didn't have any talents. Ugh, she was 3 moons she knew shouldn't be worrying about her future but Mari couldn't help but be desperate to find out if she had a shot at being something great when she grew up.

  • I never knew daylight (private) could be so violent

    Looking at the wall all day wasn't exactly something that interested Mari but when you were this bored you were desperate to entertain yourself. The black femme rested herself on the floor, maybe she would take a nice nap? The kitten tried and tried but no matter how long she waited she just couldn't do it, she just couldn't fall asleep. She just simply wasn't tired. Marionette gave out a long sigh, today was gonna be a long day.

    Startled, Mari almost jumped off the chair she was standing on. She didn't hear the genet's footfalls at all or maybe she had been to focused to hear anything at all. "O-oh, u-um, I-I just f-found a bird's nest th-that's all.", the kitten stuttered her grey eyes focused on the floor. She stole a quick glance at who she was talking too, he looked familiar but she just couldn't remember his name or where she saw him.

  • PARTY ON THE ROOFTOP ( open + murder )

    Tears filled the she-kit's grey eyes as she stared at the grizzly sight. It was horrible and strange at the same time. Life could last years but could be taken away in just a second. It didn't seem fair at all. Mari wanted to look away badly but she couldn't help but stare. Ugh, she didn't feel so good. The black kitten darted towards some long abandoned dumpsters to wretch behind it. Even though she had now shut her eyes she still couldn't get the gruesome scene out of her head.

    The kit had been going on her usual walk when she spotted some of her clanmates gathering around something or someone. A strange noise caught her attention. What was that noise? What were her clanmates looking at? A group was the last thing The anxiety filled kitten wanted to join but she was bored out of her mind and curiosity was pulling her closer towards the crowd. As Mari approached her grey eyes caught Raijuu playing with a plastic bag. To be honest it seemed actually entertaining. The black femme was tempted to grab one but wasn't up for drawing attention to herself. Maybe she'd grab one later today and play with it in her room. Yes, a plastic bag seemed like a toy for the dumb-minded but Mari already thought of herself as dumb anyway and when you were as bored as she was anything seemed entertaining.

    Mari's eyes snapped open as she heard a familiar voice. The black femme stretched up from her sleeping spot curiously peeking her head out into the hallway. Her grey eyes landed on Coldkit, the kitten looked familiar but just couldn't recall her name. The white-spotted kit was about to call out to her familiar clan ate but shyness over came her. Marionette couldn't help but wonder why the kit was alone, heck she usually wasn't alone, Mari always saw her with Benvolio. The shy kitten couldn't help but continue to stare at Coldkit not sure if she should greet or retreat back into the room.
