[color=black][size=7pt][thanks ^^]Newt hadn't heard the girl's approach, and he gave a slight startle as she spoke. Whirling around to face her, Newt struggled to control his breathing; for a minute, his mind flared with rage, but the blonde was quick to push the surge of irrationality down.
He shook his head as if to clear it. "Um," he started brilliantly, trying to process his surroundings. The girl was young, obviously around his age, with long brunette hair that waterfalled down her shoulders in a neat cascade of black.
"...it's... fine," he finally stuttered out, still disoriented. You couldn't blame him - after all, he had just woken up after being 'killed' by his best friend, with a disease festering at his mind. Newt still wasn't sure how he could think and act so clearly, and if it weren't for the edges of madness, he might've thought he were cured.
Obviously he wasn't, though, and the teen wagered a guess that adrenaline only worsened his state of being.
He cleared his throat as he realized he'd been spacing out, and spoke up once more. "D'you- Who are you? And where am I? Why is it... Why's it raining?" and it wasn't toxic rain, wither - it fell at an almost normal pace, and though it thundered, it was nothing compared to that awful day in the scorch. It was just harmless rain.

[color=black][size=7pt]John shrugged the apology off with a small, professional smile. "Right, well, I still extend my deepest apologies. And you're half-right - we have plenty of halfbreeds aboard. We haven't had any pure blood extra terrestrial since 1952, during the Peace Act of Archaitee."John glanced at Jackson to be sure of this, and when the stout officer nodded in agreement, the blonde smiled lightly. He turned back to Sherlock and tilted his head.
When the alien spoke next, Jackson easily accepted the apology with a salute. "Sir," he mumbled in a tone of voice that suggested there were no hard feelings. The elder gentleman paused, and then gave another salute. "I'll be off, then. Have duties to attend to n' all." John nodded in agreement, and saluted as the other man walked away.
He was startled, however, when he felt something snake across his leg and rest loosely on his kneecap. He almost yelped, but he bit down on the urge. The thing turned out to be Sherlock's tail, and John resisted the urge to pull away. Maybe this was a normal thing.
His theory was proven correct when the Avatar spoke, explaining that his tail had a mind of its own. John shook his head briefly. "It's- it's fine. Alright. Em." The blonde cleared his throat and resisted the blush that threatened to redden his cheeks. He did become a light shade of pink, however, and John rubbed his neck to distract from the fact.
Eagerly, he listened to the other male's explanation of his species, and he gave a far more genuine smile as Sherlock finished. "Ah, I see," he replied amiably, clasping his hands behind his back. "Very interesting." he paused.
[b]"...Well, either way, we'd better get going. Don't want Captain Lestrade getting on me for not doing my duty. Come, we'll visit the boiler room first."

[size=7pt][color=black][size=9pt][color=black][they'd probably be about kathy; like maybe she was talking sh.t about indigo or something? and indigo got super hurt and upset at kat, but kat would be confused and frustrated and they just fell out or something.
and it's no problem, hun <3 sorry for the inactiveness, mt computer's being a b.tch haha]
Carrie rolled her eyes at Indigo's retreat, face twisted in indignation. "Hey!" she shouted, raising her beer in protest. "Why're you-! Why is she? Why is she such a-a jerk?" the question, at first directed to Indigo, was now addressed mournfully towards the bartender, who offered a sympathetic shrug. At least, she thought it was sympathetic - Carrie couldn't really see that well in the dark, and the beer was already starting to get to her.[hr]
Kat rolled her eyes in exasperation, but didn't budge. Sliding in even closer the other blonde, Kathy snatched Angel's glass from her. "Whatever," she replied flippantly, thrumming her fingers across the glass and then tilting it so that she could look through it. Squinting and tilting her head to the side, Kat stared through the glass and into the bar, watching in fascination as the glass warped the room.
She hummed lowly to herself, and then set the glass down. "So," she started again, placing her palms flatly on the table. She looked at Angel, eyes gleaming seriously, "now that we're here... what ever happened? All those years ago, when you and Indigo just stopped coming around?" blunt and straight to the point - the best way to deal with Angel.

Jay shared a brief look with Josh as Carrie slumped into her seat, now babbling senselessly to herself.
What a lightweight.
Rolling his eyes and turning to face the other male, Jay awkwardly began to fumble with the seams of his shirt. This was incredibly awkward, and now he had nothing to talk about. Great.
With a sigh, Jay forced himself to speak. "S-so, are you still planning to go to college? Um, I mean, if you can. If not, there's always the internet- er, that is, there are online courses you can take, if you're into that sh.t."
Wow, the hole he was digging was getting really big.
Maybe if he was lucky it would bury him alive.
Groaning softly to himself, Jay shook his head. ".. sorry," he muttered. "I'm not used to talking. Um, so... how're you doing? Other than the whole plagued with illness thing?"

Kaden followed Indigo's retreating form with his eyes, but his attention on her was short. For some reason, his gaze strayed to the dark-haired youth and stayed there.
The twenty year old hesitated, and then followed the younger male to where he sat. He hesitated, and then took a seat beside him. He didn't say anything, but he did offer a quiet sort of condolence.Kaden was used to hanging around people when they were like this - who just wanted to be silently comforted, not badgered or coddled. The black-haired male wasn't quite sure why he felt the need to do this, but he didn't investigate the issue too thoroughly. He was far more content simply accepting his feelings.
