    OOC: This sounds really cheesy in one part I'm sorry ;-;

    IC: Carmilla completely ignored the new girl who sat down next to her, feeling almost a bit jealous that so much attention had been dedicated to her for the past few minutes. Not like she enjoyed being in the spotlight, she just liked hearing about how everyone thought she was so sexy and mysterious. But whatever, she didn't care anyway. She turned her attention back to the teacher, who began to write notes about the book on the board. Carmilla shifted in her seat with a sigh, not even bothering to take the teacher's notes. She knew what went down in the book and fully understood it, thus finding note-writing a useless waste of time and pain in the hand.

    Carmilla raised her eyebrows and her mouth dropped open a bit, her arms slightly falling from her chest before her shocked expression grew into a smirkish, delighted grin and she shrunk down into a large, pitch black panther with eyes just like her human ones. She sat down and said, "Are you a vampire, too? I mean, I thought you smelled strange, but not like a vampire..." She cocked her head and prodded at Amazon's shoulder.

    At first Carmilla wasn't sure whether or not she had actually heard the small voice, and she brought her head from where it was resting on her hand to look at the girl next to her, looking a little confused. "Um, yeah, The Great Gatsby." Carmilla replied simply, looking at Caitlin to gauge her response and wait for her reply.

    well that was fun but now it's actually time to do something in the roleplay lol
    OOC: If you want this to become a real thing or inspire a sort of similar event we can take it up with the thread creator forgot who they are whoops otherwise it can just be a silly nightmare as I intended it to be XD

    IC: Harepaw fidgeted in his sleep, dreaming about a battle. The fields where the battle was taking place were the color of blood, the sky a deeper shade of red. He looked around quickly, seeing bodies of cats scattered everywhere. But not just any cats... he gasped when he saw his parents, already deceased, with labored breathing and bloodstained pelts. He rushed over to them, "Mom! Dad!"
    His father, Brownfang, raised his head, showing an immense amount of effort to do so, "Shadow..." He mumbled, before his head fell to the ground and he let out a loud final breath.
    "What!?" Harepaw glanced around, panicking, "Dad, come back! Dad! Mom!?" He suddenly remembered, "Shadow...?" A little to his right and further away he saw a small, dark body. It was Shadowpaw, as a kit. "Shadowpaw! NO!" He yowled in agony as he saw his brother already laying, lifeless, amongst the other bloody cats that included Wildheart and Hazelswirl, as well as Sparrowpelt.
    "Keep it down," Shadowpaw grumbled, half-consiously shifting around his violently twitching, whimpering brother.
    Meanwhile, still in Harepaw's dream, he heard a scream for help. He looked at where the sound was coming from and saw Lilypaw, a bright light right next to her. "Lilypaw, not you, too!" Without thinking, he charged at the bright white light, but found Lilypaw and the light drifting farther and farther away from him, Lilypaw's antagonized wails of "Harepaw!" And "Help me!" getting louder and louder, joined by the light's deep, sinister-sounding laugh. The light soon slowly took the faint sillouhette of a cat, spreading its wide jaws around Lilypaw's throat, and-
    SNAP
    "NOOOOOOO!" Harepaw yowled before jumping up, throwing Shadowpaw into the den wall, earning him an oomph and a surprised and concerned look.

    "Where are you going?" Carmilla interrogated, cocking her head and frowning in slight disapproval at her new sister's taste in clothes. "I mean I'm sure you'll look just beautiful no matter what you're wearing or where you're going, but I'm very curious." She said, not really meaning to, and then put her chin on her hand and looked at her sister.

    OOC: That's fine, I know the feeling~

    IC: "Um," Carmilla snorted and let herself snicker a little bit before recomposing herself, "I think so. Lana Del Rey was on the soundtrack as well, was she not?" She continued to tease the other girl before remembering that it probably wouldn't fly too well with Ms. Woods, "I'm honestly more of a book person than a movie person, but whatever floats your boat, cupcake." She shrugged before turning back to face the front of the room.

    Carmilla nodded, and mouthed an oh. She took a deep breath when the other girl sat down on the bed near her, wondering whether or not it was a bad thing that she found herself subconciously slightly leaning towards her sister, enjoying the look of the light reflecting off of her skin and the smell of her shampoo and the shade of her eyes. They weren't actually sisters, though, so it was fine to have a little crush, right?

    "Uh... um..." Harepaw looked bashful at Lilypaw's question, and glanced apologetically at Shadowpaw before replying, "Yeah. Just a bad dream. Sorry to wake you up..." He looked down and then flopped down with a sigh, Shadowpaw cautiously laying close to him, but not right next to him.
