    Luca K. but in all seriousness, they should have a thread. right now phanuel's preception of the world is very black and white, so if he comes across luca doing something not very demon like (playing with children, looking at the stars, watering plants, and what have you) and they could have a in depth conversation and bond or something?? it'd help with his development if he started seeing demons as more than just evil, damned creatures. plus it'd be hilarious if luca flirted with him because he'd just be like ????

    the once-angel was the last being to approach upon unsteady paws, gaze of bluer than seemingly possible upon mortal plane focused intently upon the newcomer which strode upon the border. intriguing was an understatement to describe the other who came forth with a scowl and skull where that of regular, fleshed temples should have been placed. unsure and curious, phanuel observed from rinto's side, becoming jarred as this skull creature spoke unruly, cruel curse words as a frown ruined hauntingly lovely features. how utterly crude, mortals truly had fallen far from grace hadn't they? then again, as he recalled the tattered, unattended bloodied feathers upon shoulder blades, phanuel became nauseous in recalling the fact that they were not the sole beings to be struck down from god's mighty image. but still, the words blizzard clan caught interest.     》GREETINGS, weary traveler. Seems you've wandered onto the territory of the Sanguine Ruins, we don't tolerate trespassing so I certainly hope you intend on staying. Despite the rumble in your stomach and the dryness that coats the back of your throat, our climate is rather tropical and sharing with outsiders isn't in our nature. Known as a rather large and fast-paced group, this anti-clan is ruthless and unpredictable. If you're here to join then fret no more, shake some sand from your paws and take a seat so I can share with you Sanguine Ruins's secrets and introduce you to the various personalities you'll stumble across beyond our borders. Disregard the bones scattered along the land as both torture and cannibalistic hobbies are practiced here, yet don't let that linger in your thoughts; we are Ruiners, what did you expect?

    HISTORY [WIP]



    HISTORY is not unfamiliar to the clan, because while others may have been raised from the ashes, their history has been forged and will continue to be forged for many days, months, and years to come.


    The Sanguine Ruins (known as Bloodclan at the point in time) is a fierce AntiClan that has been a feared group for a number of years now. They are an ancient clan had once gone under extinction that was revived by the powerful Clouds, and then lead by the respected Bonestar. After his passing Sanguine Ruins' own almighty Solarstar resumed leadership and lead the Ruins for many moons. After her murder with a battle against the Elysian Hills (known as Windclan at that point in time), Burnout took over her place, instigating the fire that destroyed Elysian Hills' camp. Burnout's inactivity throughout the clan was noticed so Haemon Mist and Dustsky took their rightful places as leaders.


    Coppermine came next and he led the clan for several moons before falling into activity. During this time, Aima and Taintedshackles stepped up, leading the clan into further glory. Aima went missing and Taintedshackles perished, both leading for only a brief season. Djagatai, the deputy at the time, refused to take over leadership and promoted long-term member and third tier, Risencorpse, instead. He was the solo leader until promoting his deputy, Serpentine, to leader alongside him. Once Risencorpse fell into a bout of inactivity the star council demoted him and left Serpentine as the sole leader of the Ruins. Following suit was Cataclysm and Scorpionsting, both with relatively short reigns. Haushinka stepped up after Scorpionsting was demoted, which lasted a few months. Chemical Warfare followed next, leaving Azimekh to lead. He reigned around the same amount of time Haushinka did, later stepping down to promote Domeric in his place. After Domeric had been demoted and killed, the Ruins was led for a short while by the three deputies before the star council promoted Lucy as leader. She led for quite some time until she was killed, leaving the place in confusion.


    Iconoclast stepped in to take the reins during the chaos following Lucy's death, and led as a substitute leader for a short period of time before choosing Sola to take his place. She led the clan for a short while before stepping down, promoting Merle, in her place. His reign was rather short-lived, Russianseige's own following suit. He promoted Evangeline up next to him and stepped down weeks later. Evangeline now leads the Ruins back to it former glory with the help of all its members. After six months of ruling on her own, Evangeline chose Amour to step up to co-lead alongside her. But tragedy struck as Amour was found dead upon the border of the Sanguine Ruins leaving Evangeline heartbroken and to lead the clan alone once more. For a while things were okay but an ominous air hung over a late meeting in which a sickly Evangeline promoted Jackdaw to co lead by her side. But a mere few hours later the alabaster cougeress was found dead within a tent she had share with Amour leaving Jackdaw to rule alone.


    Jackdaw (FEBRUARY 2017 - JULY 2017) led the Sanguine Ruins on his own for many months after Evangeline's death. In his many months as King, he led the clan through a war with Riverside (formerly known as Riverclan) and a freak change in the desert's climate, brought them to new territory when potholes began opening in the old Mediterranean one, and introduced the rank "Viscount", which was between Overseer and King/Queen, and was the vice-leader of the clan. He also introduced another rank, this one titled "Red Priest", because he had brought the Red God back to the Ruins as their main religion. They were in charge of religious rituals as well as healing, like any other medic would be. Jackdaw stepped down in July of 2017 and left when his boyfriend fell ill, leaving Barbara, his Viscount at the time, to take his place.


    When Barbara (JULY 2017 - APRIL 2018) stepped up, she split the Warlords into sections, creating Warlords of Strategy, Warlords of Sabotage, and Warlords of Training. She also created a new rank, titled Physician, to go along with the Red Priests, for anyone who may be medically inclined but not religious. She also abolished the Viscount rank a few months after stepping up. Soon after she became Queen, the Ruins began warring with Sunclan, which lasted all the way from August of 2017 to February. Later, she abolished the Red Priest rank as well as brought free religion back to the clan. She also (re)introduced a few traditions to the clan, which included a gladiator ring for the Ruins and its allies' enjoyment, and a blood ceremony, which was meant for Third Tiers moving up to Warlords as a way to pledge themselves to the clan. It can also be a test of a Third Tier, Warlord, or Overseer's loyalty if they do something that makes the leader question their devotion to the clan. Barbara went into the desert with her brother Jamie, only to go missing and to never be heard of again. In her stead, her overseer Hypokrisis was forced to step up and lead the clan as time is cruel and stands still for none.


    Hypokrisis (APRIL 2018 – JULY 2018) became king in a time of extreme political tension between the ruins, the shadow veil, and the blackheart rogues. However, he was swift defuse extremely taxing situation through both actions of violence and peace. Upon stepping up to forefront of clan, Hypokrisis shifted focus away from blatant attacks and unesscary war into more so on forming the ruins into a place of brotherhood and solace. Where damned, unloved, exiled, and forgotten could find kinship in their misery and home in the name sanguine ruins. However, for another clan to attack them or one of their members- such events end swiftly in merciless, barbaric retaliation.

    This new implented ruiner idealim took time to instill, but after long bought of inactivity came to pass with an upcoming generation of ruiners and clan came into a time of prosperity. After a child theif and murderer came upon their lands in hiding, Hypokrisis took severe measures and exiled said creature from the ruins. Thereafter a new law was established that no harm or capture could occur to a child under 6 moons. After world’s regnesies, Hypokrisis was nowhere to be found. He was one of many left behind within merge, a god’s curse forbiding king of divine intervition and punishment alike from passing on as crimson soaked finger tips of deity forgotten pulled him away into the depths of the old world. So came the end of one the ruin’s most flourishing, yet short, eras. However, there are some who state that on nights where stars are clearest in ebony paved skies a too pale ghost can been soon like a shred of moon near borders once piled with corpses. And if you come closer, closer, closer- this eldiged memory smiles a martyr's crown of thorns. After hypokrisis' disappearance, always dead took initiative, becoming leader, and standing strong for the sake of her clan.

    TERRITORY

    After a long and arduous journey, the Ruiners have left the Mediterranean territory and returned home to the desert where Sanguine Ruins had once lived before, though it is not the same desert of old. The place has nurtured and grown without them, sweeping away the past to make way for the future.


    The White Sands

    The Western half of the territory is where any clan would come upon for their border duties. A wall stands upon the border made out of thick beige stone that is washed with blood from the bodies that are piled upon it on a daily basis. The desert is unforgiving with white sand and dunes for as far as the eye can see. Sometimes a cactus is seen growing in the ever shifting sands, with snakes, lizards, camels, aardwolves, etc seen scampering around for food. Pockets of many different oases dot the land randomly and though they are hard to find Ruiners have a good sense of where to go for their water while out and about. They are usually marked with large palm trees and bright green foliage surrounding the water sources.


    The Sphinx

    In the northern part of the White Sands stands a large and imposing Sphinx statue. Her entire body is made out of what appears to be white stone blocks and she used to have brilliant paint along her headdress once upon a time. At one point she used to have a nose but it has long since fallen off and degraded over time. Her paws are huge but buried in the sand and between them is an massive entrance way into a even more impressively huge room. The main room seems to have been a entrance way of some sort with red paint that streaked down the middle to a large sitting throne. To the left and right are hallways leading to many different rooms fit for living in or just saying if one wanted to.

    The Red Sands

    The Eastern half of the territory consists or red desert sands and harder packed ground. Here the shrublands thrive with scraggly bushes and cacti that reach up toward the sun. Birds and rabbits are more plentiful here as they walk along as well as smaller deer and sandcats. Beyond these shrubs lands are canyons and valleys made out of vivid red sandstone that make nice resting places and some have even been home to humans who left behind their things here and there. Carved out in one of these canyons is an arena like area used for public executions, or games for Ruiners to enjoy and bet on. Some of theses canyons have small rivers or streams that run through them. Toward the back behind the canyons stand black looming mountains, a dangerous place but where prey is more abundant. It seems to storm along the mountain range quite often.<br>




    The Barrens

    Flanking the Eastern half of the territory is the Barrens, the stretch of land that separates Sanguine Ruins's territory from the Blackheart Rogues. It is currently claimed by the Blackheart Rogues, though the Sanguine Ruins is going through great lengths to claim it for their own. Dry rock stretches far as the eye can see, exquisite rock formations reaching from the ground almost like trees. Though it does not appear to be the most prey-abundant area, desert birds and tortoises and all other sorts of critters are hidden in the nooks of each rock, usually only stepping out when the sun is gone and replaced by moon.

    The Blood Nile

    The Blood Nile is a large river that runs down from the north of the territory and curves a path through the Red Sands and some of the Canyons. It runs close to the campsite before twisting away and though do not drink form this source of liquid as it is completely made out of the blood of foes past and now Sanguine Ruins' enemies. What keeps the river supplied with blood is currently unknown.

    The Camp Grounds

    In the middle of the territory where the White Sands and the Red Sands meet is the camp. The camp consists of three pyramids shaped roughly in a slightly curved semi circle. The largest which stands in the middle houses the bulk of the clan and is where announcements, parties, meetings, etc are held. The second largest pyramid to the right of the main is a more religious, spiritual structure that acts as a cemetery. The dead are to be placed in their own respectful chambers, and members can go here to worship as they please and make sacrifices. The smallest which is off to the left of the main pyramid is for the high positions. Political and private meetings will be held here, and stationed medics work within the lower halls. In the middle of the three pyramids is a large oasis where members can drink and relax. shadows from the structures can provide shelter from the heat, as well as what greenery such as large palm trees and stretches of bright green grasses that manages to grow alongside the large pooling of water.

    LAWS


    1. All FF rules apply, IC and OOC.

    2. OOC drama is not allowed; if it is occurring and you are a witness, notify staff.

    3. Drama IC is greatly encouraged, however, and is often used to support plots.

    4. The leader's word is law.

    5. Harassing/bullying another member physically or verbally can result in an automatic demotion to the rank below you, high position or not.

    6. If there are intruders, alert the Sanguine Ruins leader immediately so they can handle the situation.

    7. Members should not be demoted unfairly for equally unfair reasons (ex. blankstar demotes blankblank for inactivity, even though this member has posted fifty times or more this week).

    8. Do not kill/capture members of allying clans

    9. Rape of any kind is prohibited (ally or enemy).

    10. A child under 6 moons may not be captured or harmed under any circumstances,

    RANKS


    KING/QUEEN [HP]: The leader of the clan; their word is law. They hold meetings, finalize decisions, and oversee and control all politics. They have the power to command, promote/demote, and punish any position below them.


    Hypokrisis, played by Fourteenth


    OVERSEER [HP]: The second in command and the one to take over after the King/Queen dies or steps down. They oversee the Warlords, Third Tiers, and Second Tiers. They are capable of leading/organizing raids, accepting invitations from allies, and punishing/commanding positions below them. They are also allowed to accept suggestions made by clanmates. They may hold meetings for S/HPS, deal with alliances with the leader's permission, and step in if the leader is temporarily absent. They are authorized to perform any duty with the leader's permission.

    WARLORDS [HP]: The assistant deputies of the clan; they are authorized to lead/organize raids, accept invitations from allied clans, and accept suggestions brought to the leader by clanmates.


    MASTERS OF STRATEGY:

    Masters of Strategy are a division of Warlords that typically lead, organize, and strategize for the Ruins' offensive raids unless stated directly otherwise by the King/Queen

    Masters of Sabotage are a division of Warlords that specialize in vandalizing enemies' territories, spying on enemies, and capturing, torturing, and killing high positions of enemy clans.

    Masters of Training are a divison of Warlords that are responsible for holding battle training activities, assisting apprentices in finding mentors and, with the permission of an apprentice's mentor, assisting in their training.

    PHYSICIAN [HP]: Physicians are equal to the rank of Warlord in terms of authority and respect. They are the Ruiners who are devoted to healing and herb lore. They work around camp and on the battlefield, and they are expected to attend raids and treat those in need of medical attention.
