Don't worry. The first post is always the most awkward.

To be honest with you, I thought I was alone on this one. From my understanding you make your character and jump around to and from each role play.. And everything magically develops off of that?

The ranks are really what get me ticking. I keep hearing the phrase "HP," being tossed around. Not sure what it's supposed to mean, but I remember seeing it a few times on adoption threads.

You make a good argument, but the reason for the lack of diversity in role plays and the post quality are the under aged role players. You can't change the fact that its the internet and anyone could be sitting behind that computer monitor. I also agree on the lack of traditional names. You see things like "Septembermoon," and "Pumpkinghost,". And Falling Rain, I get what you're saying about getting ignored. Its so damn fun when hard work goes down the drain.

I think that's just personal preference, Flicker.

When you first see him, Gingercloud is an emotionless tom. He takes nothing to heart and loses "friends," because of it. This is simply not true. He's thoughtful, meek and quiet, but he depends on others to stand up for what he believes in. (He stutters a bit, so he isn't often taken seriously.) He's calm and collected, and is quick to solve problems. Gingercloud is a caring creature, and is always concerned for his clan mates. If he had to choose to save himself or anyone of his clan mates, Gingercloud would die a hero.

Gingercloud is long and lanky, and has the perfect body for hunting. This makes him an underdog on the battle field, and he relies on more technique than power. He has normal length ginger fur and hazel eyes.

Gingercloud pulled himself out of the rubble, and took a selfish gulp of air. He was relieved to find he only had minor injuries; scrapes, bumps, bruises. That didn't make them any less painful. He miserably trudged around, until he found his clan mates. "Crikey! I-I thought I'd uh, I'd never find you!" he exclaimed, joining his fellow clan mates. "Is everybody okay?"

Steam is a combination of Orion and Amos, who can calm and thoughtful at one moment and can be aggressive and rash the next. The pair are a surprisingly good team, and they hold each other accountable.

Personality:
Being an only child, Axel is a kind, polite and introverted little creature. His parents taught him not to talk to strangers, which in turn made him frightened to talk to anyone. He thought anyone with a white van was manipulative and had all traits of classic Disney villains. As you can imagine he became shy and polite. Which is fine, but to the point where he thought taking an order at a restaurant was too much pressure, or saying excuse me to passerby was 'deadly,'. Axel's worried parents got him a Fletchling. He became fascinated with Pokémon. He loved to learn about Pokémon, train with his father and to play with Pokémon . His team built off of that, and with the knowledge acquired from all those books and his father. Eventually Axel cracked out of his little shell to poke his head out, but I don't think he'll be getting out too soon. If he likes you, he'll actually be a bit outgoing and not afraid to tell a corny joke. And if he tells you "Your secret's safe with me." he actually means it. He's extremely loyal and overprotective towards his friends. This is a whole different ball game if he doesn't like you. Rather than fun and kind, he becomes cunning and snappy. He thinks on his feet, which can be excellent for trash talking (and battles!)
