[fancypost bgcolor= COLOR; border: 0px ridge #000000; width: 425px;] All she appeared to be was an inky black blot against the night time sky, with the only exception of her lamp like eyes that glinted faintly in dying moonlight, and the streaks of ginger that covered her at times. She had awoken early, feeling the start of excitement dwell within her chest at the thought of catching the sunrise- she had awoken to the moon just starting to hang low in the sky, still dark, but light enough that some things were visible.

As such Wisteria sat, making no movement let alone sound as she awaited for the sun to start peaking over the world, to bathe in its warm glow and wonder, briefly, just how it could be so beautiful where she lived. Unaware of anything, or anyone else, she sat glued to the spot, waiting for what she had woken up so early for.

[fancypost bgcolor= COLOR; border: 0px ridge #000000; width: 425px;] She still wasn't sure if she understood the whole gimmick, but tilting her head she gently pulled out the little figurine she had found along with whatever other interesting things she had found while scavenging around the area. Everything Maggie had, Wisteria noted, was so much more... human that what she had ( granted, the figurines were human made ) compared to her flowers, or shiny rocks, or seeds she had on her. Would any of it really compare? She wasn't even sure.

She remained silent, and a little quizzical as she looked down at her flowers, and various small things, then back up at the other feline. "But if I did, how would I know if I have proper payment?" she asked, genuinely wanting to know such an answer before she committed to actually pointing out what she had her eye on- the lone, somewhat tattered pale lavender scarf. She'd live without it, but the young femme found herself drawn to it nonetheless, so it was best to see if she did actually have payment before confession her choice.

[fancypost bgcolor= COLOR; border: 0px ridge #000000; width: 425px;] Despite the dire situation, Wisteria felt oddly calm as her body was tossed to the bottom of the body of water. The cool water had enveloped her, bubbles drifting from her mouth as she watched the surface with her wide eyes, simply wondering if this was what death must have been like. It was if she had come to accept it now, that this must have been what it was like... with cold, snaking tendrils working its way into her sore muscles, wanting her to stop moving, pulling her, dragging her down into a depth that she didn't even know existed... and then, she saw the dark shadow himself, coming down to claim her she thought. Her eyes lazily trailed the figure, and she closed them for a moment, another bubble slipping past her lips as she expected death...

But instead, was met with life.

Her scruff was grasped between strong jaws, and she was hoisted up with the other figure. The two of them were now tumbling down the water together, yet Wisteria could breathe as her face broke the surface of the water, and she coughed, and spluttered, trying to get as much of the water out of her system as possible. She still felt immensely cold, and there was a small cut against her shoulder where a sharp rock had pierced the skin, and yet she felt burning hot against the cold now- as if she was striving to survive. She looked up at who was holding her, noticing it was Fadingdaylight herself who was holding her by the scruff of her neck, desperately trying to keep them both afloat now. You didn't have too, I was fine, she thought to herself, frowning now as she cough and spluttered over more water. Fadingdaylight had put herself as risk for... her? It simply didn't seem right.

"The... drop off..." she spluttered with her cold, soft voice as they neared the open water- the area where the current would blast them out too, making it easier to swim... but with land suddenly further away, and no ground to push off of, either. There was still hope though, as she paddled her little paws to help as much as she could to keep herself above the water, as to not put so much strain on Fadingdaylight herself.

ooc. do you want to open it now, or leave it closed still? o:
    [/fancypost]

[fancypost bgcolor= COLOR; border: 0px ridge #000000; width: 425px;] Before she truly new a thing they had reached shore, having gone from the deep depths of the drop off to solid land, and as she was placed upon the earth she stumbled for a moment, hacking up water and standing slack-jawed, water dripping from her mouth, her fur, her everything as she stood, shaking somewhat and awkwardly leaving her weight off of one of her front legs. She had her fair share of bumps and scrapes, much like Fadingdaylight- arguably not to the same extent, however. Her right foreleg had been dislocated, dully aching and feeling oddly numb as she stared at the earth, noticing dark spots of crimson drip down to intermingle with the pools of water that was forming below her- this, Wisteria could only assume, was from a small gash that was above her left eye brow, hardly visible against her dark fur. Despite those two more major injuries, smaller scrapes still littered her body as well, some bleeding, others just shallow enough to leave a mark, and bruises would surely form in the following hours as well.

Nonetheless she stayed still, lamp like eyes transfixed on the drops of blood that hit the earth before she looked up, only to see Fadingdaylight standing above her, simply staring down. Wisteria of course, simply stared back, not making a sound but only standing, blinking her eyes once or twice. She still didn't understand why Fading had gone through the trouble of saving her from the cold embrace of death, in fact, Wisteria had embraced it in the moment, hadn't she? Feeling calm, and welcomed in those cold tendrils of water that wrapped around her like her mothers loving arms? That wasn't to say she wasn't grateful for having her life saved, only that she was confused was all, and perhaps it showed through on her usual well guarded face.

Perhaps someone else would arrive soon, for all her knowledge, but she knew she wasn't going to be the one who spoke first in this situation at this rate.
    [/fancypost]

[fancypost bgcolor= COLOR; border: 0px ridge #000000; width: 425px;] She looked up as her mother approached, offering the much older femme a rather small smile, the sort that only Wisteria could muster to give to family members. Otherwise, the somewhat estranged kitten remained emotionless, seeming to understand, and nodded her head in thanks to her mothers motion before turning back towards the merchant, absentmindedly listening to her words.

"...The scarf-" she said, indicating with one, blackened paw as she reached out, pointing to the pale lavender one she had seen before. The tattered one, as it were. "I think it's pretty." she would say afterwards, bringing her paw back down, and gently smiling at nothing in particular as she said so.
    [/fancypost]

[fancypost bgcolor= COLOR; border: 0px ridge #000000; width: 425px;] Her eyes remained glued upon the world above her, and briefly Wisteria wondered what it must have been like to have wings like her family members, to feel the cool breeze of air underneath feathers as she soared and touched the actual clouds herself with her blackened, scorched appearing paws. Would she look like a comet, the kitten dimly wondered, with her coal like appearance with patches of burning ginger fur? Or perhaps like a devil having risen out of its grave, smoldering, her eyes lamp lights that were capable of stealing souls? Her wings would make her look bigger in that mind set, and it was something she was humouring even when Drugstorepaw sat down next to her and offered a simple 'yo' in greeting. She flicked an ear in acknowledgement, her eyes otherwise remaining cast against the sky, pale, ominous eyes watching as more stars started to show themselves against a darkening canvas.

"What do you think a cloud feels like?" she offered in response as a conversation, her voice quiet, calm, cold- as it always were, and sounding a little unsettling coming from someone her age. She was always mysterious in this way, unpredictable, and sounding far more mature than she should have- but nonetheless the kitten pried her cold eyes away from the endless ceiling above her, and cast their lamp like gaze upon Druggie, blinking them once before her pale golden optics remained on him, dully noting what he looked like at the back of her mind. It wasn't like she had really ever interacted with him before, so she might as well have taken the opportunity to do so now as she offered him her rather peculiar question.
    [/fancypost]

[fancypost bgcolor= COLOR; border: 0px ridge #000000; width: 425px;] Would she be considered too young to participate in something like this? Most definitely, but that didn't stop Wisteria from approaching the group with her emotionless gaze, her cool eyes fixated on those around her as the tortie stopped, staring up at her unofficial 'fun' aunt as she liked to put it- if she couldn't participate, she sure as hell could simply watch and learn that way. Wisteria was one for picking things up easily if she understood what was going on, but even then, there was nothing wrong with a little bit of watching and learning. She nodded to those who would see her before she moved off to the side, climbing atop of a rock to watch, her tail neatly wrapped around her paws.
    [/fancypost]

[fancypost bgcolor= COLOR; border: 0px ridge #000000; width: 425px;] She was that interested about everything in life as it were, but perhaps most worrisome was an interest in things she had yet to discover- like the tang of blood against fresh fallen snow, or how many different ways someone would die from poison. That interest had yet to spring up in the peculiar girls mind as it were, and as she was currently interested in the beetle, it was probably for the best. "Hello Frozen," she said absentmindedly, looking over at him with her large, cool stare. Of course they seemed so different, she seemed so cold and uncaring about everything about her when the reality was so much different- Wisteria was just incapable of truly expressing herself in a way that made sense to her. She understood emotions as it were, the girl was just peculiar in a way that it was hard too, and she never really understood personal space as a fact, either.

"What've you been up to?" she asked, blinking her lamp like gaze before breaking away from Frozen to turn back to the beetle, which she now idly flicked with one paw, righting itself back up and watched as it toddled away. She'd have to find something else to keep herself occupied with much later as it were, anyways.
    [/fancypost]

[fancypost bgcolor= COLOR; border: 0px ridge #000000; width: 425px;] She had no need to 'meet and greet' her brother, as Wisteria had, as it were, been born beside him. She was the second born out of their litter of four, but to Wisteria, her place of birth mattered not where it apparently did to him. She found it odd, and found him more peculiar more so than she- that was one thing that the two could agree on, that the other was the strange one. Nonetheless, the feline approached, looking like a burning ember more than ever with her muddled pelt of blacks, browns, and streaks of ginger. She was such a contrast against the cream of Frozenkit, her eyes almost as pale as his fur, and she blinked those lamp like eyes of hers just as she sat down in front of him with a quizzical look in her eye.

"I should hope that you know what my name is," she said with her calm, cool voice, flicking an ear idly as she watched him with good humour. Of course, none of this hardly ever translated onto her face, and she looked rather emotionless as it were despite her attempt at humour. What could Wist say? She liked socialization, not that she was all too good at it- even with her own family ( it could have been argued however, that she was more chatty with them than strangers ).

    APPEARANCE --
LITHE | TORTIE W/ PALE GOLD EYES | TALL | ANDROGYNOUS
Wisteria is a slim, lithe creature balanced atop of long legs. Her head is held high, her body a mixture of sharp edges and soft corners, her tail long and slim behind her. Her face is round and narrow, her two large, pale golden eyes endlessly watching and appearing like a harsh lamp light in the middle of the night. They stand out against an endless sea of blacks and dark browns, only to be broken apart with harsh seas of flame. The most noticeable patch of ginger being the streak that covers her right cheek, appearing like fire itself coming from the pits of dying coal. Her nose is a dark brown, nearly blending in with the rest of her burning appearance, as her skin and fur cling to her frame. Her shoulders are rather bony, able to jut from her skin if she holds herself in the correct position, almost appearing as if there was something trapped underneath her skin.

    PERSONALITY --
    QUIET | INTELLIGENT | KIND | HAUNTING | SOCIABLE | WHIMSICAL
Wsiteria is a girl that raises many questions, and one that has sent chill up someones spine more than once in her life. For despite being sociable, for despite being kind, and quiet, she comes off as a sort of haunting beauty- a creature who doesn't quite seem to understand the world around her, yet loves it nonetheless. As quiet as she is, choosing to speak when spoken too or if she has a question, she doesn't mind socialization- but doesn't quite seem to get social cues. She doesn't understand personal space, she doesn't understand a need to keep secrets, she doesn't understand why another can be so uncomfortable when she herself doesn't feel so often, if at all.

She's a docile being, a creature that would love to laugh and play among others, but still can come off so cold. Her grip on emotions at her current age is hardly existent, her voice quiet, cold, disconnected- her emotions don't show through easily. Yet she has a haunting laugh when heard, shows up to most social situations, and likes to be seen. She's open about herself, finding no reason to lie, and doesn't wish of much. She's only interested in learning, and has a burning desire and passion to learn about as many things in the world as she can. Her interests lie in the beauty of things that others may not see, such as the macabre, the occult, the estranged. She loves to think of the strange beauty of death, of poisons, of witch-craft- it comes naturally to her compared to other interests, and even then she could spend hours watching and looking over things to try and find out what is so special about it.

There's just something about her and the way she laughs, despite what she loves and despite how she shows herself, that gives off an aura of whimsy. As if she could laugh under moonlight and be depicted as a being of innocence and wonder, of the strange and whimsical, of the unsettling. She is like a blossoming garden in the spring with dew covered petals, and she is the same garden all at once, in winter with dying shriveled leaves.

    HISTORY --
Wisteria was born to Summerconstellations, the Heir of Skyclan as her mother, and Icarus, the Emperor of Skyclan as her father. She was the second born of four siblings, her other sister being Snowkit Keziah, and her two brothers being Frozenkit and Drugstorekit. She was born August 1st in an abandoned train cart along with her siblings, and many other Skyclanners were present. Her life had begun in Skyclan, and for the first little while, everything would be fine. She'd grow up in her first month of life with little to no problems.

One day, she had gone out to the river to explore, before steadily walking into the center as if in a trance. Fadingdaylight was also present, and when Wisteria snapped out of her trance, and started to drift down the river, Fadingdaylight had been the one to say her. The two had made it to the lake and the drop off before Fadingdaylight had pulled them both to shore, and Wisteria was fine other than a few minor injuries having taken place. She ended up fine, however, with a distinct dislike of deeper waters no matter how pretty they would appear. Not too long after, a travelling merchant by the name of Maggie came to Skyclan, where Wisteria happened to get her first accessory- a tattered, pale lavender scarf -which her mother had graciously payed for her. It is something that Wisteria treasures deeply.

[fancypost bgcolor= COLOR; border: 0px ridge #000000; width: 425px;] She nodded her head, a small smile actually breaking out on the small kittens face as she brought the scarf towards her, relishing just how soft it felt as she then ducked her head down, wrapping the pale, tattered thing around her neck and snuggling into it essentially as she pressed herself briefly into her mothers leg as a thanks, briefly glancing over as Maximum arrived to do her deals as well.
    [/fancypost]

[fancypost bgcolor= COLOR; border: 0px ridge #000000; width: 425px;] As Flashpaw appeared, the docile, quiet kitten cast her a small smile, her eyes simply alight with delight. She was trying to get better at sowing her emotions around other people, despite the fact she really didn't understand why people needed too- but she was still just a young girl, a happy, learning one at that. Her bright, lamp like eyes stood out from the rest of her dark appearance, staring at Flashpaw for but a moment before turning back to the sky. The starts were moving at an achingly slow pace, but Wisteria didn't mind the wait for sunrise- it was something she was more than willing to be patient for. But with Flashpaw here... perhaps she could pass the time more easily? That was what people did, right? Talk to pass the time?

"No, waiting for something." she said plainly, blinking her eyes once as she spoke in her cool, quiet voice. But she sounded happy nonetheless, her small smile still apparent as she snuggled into the pale lavender sky that recently fell into her possession. "Why can't you sleep?" she asked, turning her head back towards her unofficial aunt ( who was official enough in Wist's books for the record ) with an inquisitive look in her eye. Was there something wrong?

[fancypost bgcolor= COLOR; border: 0px ridge #000000; width: 425px;] She kept her pale golden eyes unblinking on the glowing fungus, simply ecstatic at having come across it. It was so small, so smooth, and so fascinating to look at that Wisteria couldn't help but crack a very minute smile. As Pippa approached, the young feline could only flick an ear in acknowledgment of the other being heard, simply not wanting to tear her gaze away from the fungus that grew from the walls. "It is," she responded, sounding distant and quiet as per usual.

"It's so beautiful- do you think it would come in other colours?" she asked absentmindedly, reaching out to run her paw against the silky smooth surface of the fungus before actually turning to look at the other feline, only noticing the dull colours of the other. It was quite dark down there without the dully glow of the fungus after all, yet Wisteria saw enough to recognize her as another clan mate.
