He's a worrywart who's been around for a long time (his original posts are on a different account which got merged before the ff changes). He grew up seriously wanting to be a warrior but got chosen to be a medic apprentice and was too awkward to turn it down when he'd spent weeks before as a 'Therapist' a SHP at the time. He got his wish of being a warrior in a different life, however that all came crumbling down and now he's back to his old self. He still gets nervous easily and is pretty distant due to his morally 'good' beliefs in comparison to the place he was born, but Com pretty much won't be a jerk to anyone lmao no matter what they do lmao

He's pretty much open to everything apart from death x3

Ah, he had been mentioned as one of the newcomers. His first reaction was to duck his head like a turtle as he approached the meeting, but as it became clear that no-one unfamiliar cast him a glance, he relaxed, offering a smile up towards the leader. "Thank you for the warm welcome," Commonwealth muttered, listening to the rest of the news with precision. Events, and medical training. Right, he'd let them know he had experience, but even still he was reluctant to show up to it. It wouldn't be fair on the others if someone with experience butted in when a lot of 'trainings' were just pop quizzes. It had been his one gripe with the training session that made him a medic, having spent a lot of time in the medic den as a child thanks to the scars on his back, he had the advantage from simply observing and talking to Awol. He listened to the rest of the announcements. HawkClan and.... Riverside, he guessed that was RiverClan. That had been the place of his first raid he'd thought in, a smile was on his face at the thought. Now it was time to listen for promotions and demotions.

ShadowClan was now Shadow Veil? Ouch, that would take some getting used to. He had to wonder why they changed their name, perhaps the 'Clan' part of their name didn't suit their ideals anymore. Com didn't ask, he figured it would've been a more complicated answer than he would've liked. Of course, it could've just been 'Shadow Veil' sounded cooler as well, but he wanted to doubt the simplistic route for changing a name. "It's nice to meet you too, Baobob," he stated, offering a nod of greetings towards her. Though they had just met, he trusted the female. She was gleeful, the type of creature that could light a whole room up with that smile, he was almost reminded of Stargazer. How his childhood crush had dragged him onto the ice to go ice skating, how she'd taught him how to hunt rabbits, how she'd... died under his watch from pregnancy complications. Guilty to this day he was, but he would not allow any of his features to grow melancholic because of the mistakes of a young healer. He'd learnt a lot from Awolnation, the medic before him, and James, a former leader of the Skulls under a different name, but one thing they'd never been able to teach him was how to deal with the loss of someone you were close.

Out of the corner of dark green eyes he saw flames, and choosing to risk the whiplash he suddenly whipped his head around to stare at them. He knew why he was wary, it wasn't an irrational nervousness around bodies of fire, seeing one had been the cause of his second and (nearly) third death. Seeing how they belonged to a lion and not a bird, he forced his body to stop shivering, his muscles choosing to just tense up instead from the brief panic. It ain't nothin' Com. It ain't nothin'. He heard Sekhmet's words, wondering how the situation would've played out if he said that he wasn't actually returning despite his intrusion. Not exactly a joker, he didn't want to try, instead just sticking to the regular protocol. Shadowkeeper was.... leader, maybe? It had Shadow in the name, and Keeper sounded like something that kept others safe. "Hah... Thank you... do you uh, do you think I can get some directions to camp? This territory's pretty new to me," he asked, tilting his head at a minor angle.

He was surprised to still see his clan at war with Thunder...lands, ugh, these name changes were gonna confuse him eventually. They had been at war a long time ago, he remembered when he'd went over there to make sure that they weren't all badly injured, the ThunderClanners had been incredibly rude and aggressive towards him. Shades of that hostility showed in this female here, and if they were still gonna be mean towards everyone, he wasn't sure of how much sympathy he could garner for the enemy. Com would still try, he'd still try and remain friendly despite the disgusted looks from everyone at the scene. If she wasn't going to be harmed, then he didn't see much of an issue with trying to talk normally to her. The former medic approached closer towards the gathered group, smiling meekly at the captured individual as he tried to ignore the talks of eating the other. Seeing another canine being consumed would probably be breaking point for the wolf. "Hey, I'm Commonwealth, I um, I don't think I heard your name," he spoke directly to Havana, his tail slowly wagging. "You're not hurt anywhere are you? I don't think either clan's gonna appreciate you dying of infection before talks can start," he tried to joke, forcing a chuckle out of his maw, but the undertone of awkwardness was clear in it.

commiethecapitalist: ok, lemme try this then

He didn't know if he liked the Town or not. Ok, perhaps 'like' wasn't the right word, upon hearing that there was a library for him to wind down in he had been pretty excited, but the rest of it seemed... spooky. A 'ghost town' it'd been called, Com was waiting for a shadowy hand to wrap its cold dead fingers around his shoulders and give him the fight of a lifetime. All day he had waited for it, all night he had slept with one eye open, nothing had come from it but he was expecting a spirit or two to wait until his guard was truly down. Was he paranoid? No, did he overthink sometimes? Most certainly. It was a flaw, unfortunately, there was a certain amount of speculation you had to have when there was the blood of your friends on your paws. Questions about your own competency at your job, questions of whether or not they may've actually deserved it, it though, was just a chance that level of thinking had to destroy his chances of being anywhere close to a social butterfly. There was still time to flutter his wings and show signs of an outgoing behaviour however, and that came through meet and greets. It had been a long time in the making, but finally he had to make another one after putting off joining clans for so long.

"Gather around for a meet and greet!" Commonwealth called in the center of camp, pushing forwards a tray of sweetrolls that he'd found packaged in an abandoned campsite. Whilst he had always been one to recommend a natural lifestyle, the treat wouldn't hurt in moderation. "I've got sweetrolls as well, first come first serve,". Attracting that attention was the first challenge he'd have to overcome, the next was maintaining a meaningful conversation. "I'll also answer your questions as well, if you um, want this to turn into a Question and Answer sort of thing,". He felt confident enough to do that now, so long as the questions were 'normal', he was sure that someone would like to know about his long life, and if not, then they could at least learn something about him that they may not have known if they hadn't intruded in on his meet and greet.

oOH that is some dope art

would it be alright if you had a crack at drawing Commonwealth?

He's a white wolf with dark green eyes with a crap ton of scars at the top of his back. He normally carries around a medic satchel around with him even tho he's not a medic anymore lol

    hey sei C:

maybe rei could have a thread with this dude? i'm trying to get him back into the maingame haha

Com's kinda easy to push around because he just wants peeps to be happy so he'd probably end up just rolling with whatever reiki does cx

    it's vexxy

    i'm a ninja

you never know when i'm gonna just show up randomly to play a character i've had for 3 years lmao

oooh yeah that sounds really good! he'd definitely just go along with it because he'd be like 'ah, vampires need blood to survive so i don't mind' whilst kinda hating every moment of it. he's pretty much always been pushed around as well so he's legit just not gonna bother contesting much at all with reiki (though he might lose his temper eventually haha) and just kinda keep quiet because he tries to be stoic like that xDD. com would forgive him if he got his humanity back so they could probably become friends when that happens.

Can we get a medic? There was that call he remembered. Over and over the repetitive comment had been yelled out into oblivion, and everytime he had been there to answer it. It's not my job anymore. But... even when he still didn't hold the rank, he still had to care for others. The wolf was in the area, to turn away because it 'wasn't his job'... No, he'd do it. He'd help, he'd feel guilty if he just left somebody in need for his own selfish desires. Standing up from his once static position, Commonwealth rushed towards the scene where the call had come from. He'd apologise to the current medic, whoever that may be, for treading on their shoes later on, for now he had to make sure whoever the victim was was in a stable condition. Pushing vigorously through the undergrowth, the alabaster lupine stood still for just a second to catch his breath as his gaze finally settled on the injured. "It's fine... I... I know what I'm doing, lemme do it,". Why was he waiting for permission? Because they had called for someone else that wasn't him. Even still, Commie trotted closer and closer, eyes squinting at the gnarly looking wound on Bailey's leg. Jeez, it almost looked like shrapnel in the cut, that made things more complicated. If he tried to lick it out, it might the debris in deeper. Perhaps... Perhaps he could call his 'friend' to help.

He offered a wide eyed glance up towards the rest of his clanmates, offering a silent 'please'. It was a battle between his lack of authority and his common sense, it was clear which one was winning, if it had been common sense he would've been cleaning the wound already. Com turned his head back towards Bailey, offering a gentle 'shhhh' sound as he tried to calm the younger one down. "You're gonna be ok... we'll make your leg not hurt anymore, how did you do such a thing?".

tfw when u look back at com's previous relationships and cry

his childhood crush died in his care

his first gf he accidentally cheated on in a drunken haze and she left him

his fiancee in his second life left him to be with someone else whist he was struggling mentally and died

dude's scarred for life with love xDD

The contrast between the words towards him and the words towards his clanmates was an obvious one. Whilst she had been snarky and bitter before, now, she was calm and informative. He almost sighed in relief at the sudden change, at least now he knew that she wasn't as irrational as the Thunderlanders of old. As she explained her wounds, the wolf would find himself nodding along. Nothing much he could do about the head if it was a concussion, advising to stay in a dark room may've worked with Shadow Veil's prison but he doubted his clanmates would've given her a moment of comfortable rest. The stab wound, as he paced slightly, he got a better look at. It missed her kidneys and any significant nerves, he could tell that much otherwise she wouldn't be standing so quietly. Turning his head, Com would begin the rummage through his satchel, bringing out a small brown pouch, opening it up and dropping a few of the black seeds into a bicoloured pawpad. Poppy seeds. Whilst a lot of medics nowadays were using more humanised methods, out in the wild where supplies of other things could be low, Com made do with what he had.

Besides, the seeds still worked. They contained opium after all, they'd been used for years before the advancement in knowledge. If they hadn't have worked, then the male wouldn't have wasted his time collecting them and adding to his ow personal supply of supplies. He shuffled closer on three limbs, extending a forelimb to the other. "They're poppy seeds, I promise,". It was a start, with that slim chance of being scolded for being too nice he would be slow to continue on further until she consumed the seeds. "So you're a Havana eh? I like it, it's like the capital of Cuba right? My uh, my parents kinda liked the Geographical names too,". He thought that was the case at least, in regards to his own name. Truthfully, he hadn't known is 'wealth' was the right suffix he was meant to have chosen, but he'd had a fairly distant relationship with both parents despite them living in the same clan as him. Blame it on his busy nature.

This was a stupid idea. The minute he had walked into the middle of a war he had promised that he'd just keep to himself and just help out who ever needed it, and now here he was at the borders of an enemy clan, sitting down as if were any old ally. It wasn't like he had totally lost his mind, his heart's rapid beating and head's fearful thoughts were scolding him for his boldness, but to the wolf, there was a talk that needed to happen. A massive fan of literature, he was well aware of the he-said she-said of fueds, both were often hyperboles of the truth, and Commonwealth wanted to know what he was dealing with. After all, if Shadow Veil decided that they didn't need his medical expertise (which he truly hoped they didn't, being a warrior had always been a bigger goal of his), then he needed to fight, and he didn't want to fight blindly for a cause he may not believe in. The answers he got today... they would determine whether or not he'd succumb to his healer destiny or stick up for his birth group His paws shuffled in the light snow, playing with it inconspicuously to distract himself from the worries of, oh, only the potential to get whisked away to an unknown environment. "Um.... hello?!" he finally decided to call out after the silence made his limbs grow tenser, tucking his head to try and warm his lower jaw against the fluffy winter fur of his chest. It was a social thing as well, looking like less of a threat so he wouldn't ed up getting attacked for no reason, the way his ears seemed to droop against his sides also showed such things. Com was genuinely not here for a fight. "I uh, I have a couple of questions for ya'll,". If this went about as well as the last time he'd been to the Thunderlands when they were enemies, he expected hostility, he understood that, it was just preparing himself for it that was the problem.
