Does anyone need/want a sibling? c:
Bear could use one. Depends on what you need/want.
Bear comes from a loner family, a rather agressive one.

Bear comes from a loner family, a rather agressive one.
I could make a loner that ends up joining Thunderclan and then in turn once its discovered that Bear is in WC, they'll join.
How about Dungbeetle? lol
sure! His/her past would be quite brutal, just so you know. I have to look up an adoption thread I once made for them. ^^ It’s been a while since I had a look at his history.
If you decide to go for it, please do :) Bear could use some family, even if only to butt heads with :p
“You’ll have enough time for your nest after training. Which answers your question” he meowed, offering the apprentice a faint smile before briefly stretching his muscles. He’d have to do the fighting bit last, he guessed, considering she would need to grow a bit before he’d actually dare to spar with her. He didn’t really know his own strength... And maybe he’d have to ask someone else to tag along. Just in case he decided to show up.
“We’re going for a territory tour today. While the moors seem boring at first, it’s quite useful to actually know them. Certainly when hunting or patrolling. Even in a fight, knowing the ground you’re fighting on can be important”, he meowed, offering Littlepaw a faint smile as he finished speaking. Of course, someone else would be allowed to join them, as Bearstorm wasn’t exactly a specialist. He’d lived in Windclan for quite a while, but still, he hadn’t learned the territory like most apprentices had. He had only joined as a warrior.
Bearstorm had heard enough. The warrior stopped right behind the Windclan leader, ears flat with disgust. If he ever found that vanilla/chocolate/whatever icecream ex-Bloodclanner, he would gladly let him take control for once. He would, for once, want to remember the struggle after that. He wouldn’t mind killing such a guy. No, he would almost love to do so.
For once, Bloodclan had done something ‘good’. It was almost surprising. He hadn’t known that there had been limits to their bloodlust. He was almost starting to respect some of them as a person. Up till now, only Caledon had earned his respect, be it only as a warrior. The others? Not so much. Until now. Yes, he would have to think about respecting them somewhat. Until he heard about their next murder.
Track. I’ll try to get a post in later today :)
Display Morehello everyone! i hope you guys are all having a nice day!
i'm done with classes for the day due to finals coming up,
which is both a blessing and a curse, but at least i can eat
now, lol.
sooo, how is everyone? i see the BC kitties have finally made
it over. any of them interested in a thread with lacewings?
oh! since i just got really lucky and snatched up a lighteningtooth x jailbreak
bab, would anyone want a future plot with him? he'll likely come and visit his daddio
every week or so. he'll be 3 moons once i get him, so maybe he could have some relations
with the kittens?
Haha, Bear could have a thread with him.
As for those kits, Nana will probably end up visiting WC as well, sometime. Be it to kick Lightningtooth's head in for leaving her momma.
//Ack. Bear isn't exactly much better.
"No need to bow for us", Bearstorm meowed as he arrived, green eyes narrowed at the sight of the three cats. Jasperstar's warning rung in his ears, bouncing around in his mind as he observed the male carefully. While he did fit the description, Bearstorm wasn't one to have prejudices. On the other hand, if this was indeed the guy... He better didn't take that route. Not yet. Not in front of the female. She looked weak. Physically and mentally. If the guy was the reason for this... No, he couldn't take that route. He had to keep him away. For now. While he may not seem like a monster, he certainly was.
He had missed the female calling Pistachio by his name. Luckily. If he had heard it, he wouldn't even have spoken to them. He would have thrown himself at the male, or at least he would have. "Please. Stand up. cloudwatcher will have a look at you. You're safe", he meowed, shooting one last glance at the female and the kitten. THen it was Pistachio's turn. He stared at the guy for a few seconds, taking him in with narrowed eyes. He tried to remain calm. Forced himself not to make himself as big as possible. Stopped his claws from unsheathing themselves. "Eaglespirit. Are you sure it's him?", he asked, unable to turn away from the ex-Bloodclanner as he spoke. His loud voice had probably alarmed every Windclanner in the environment by now.
And then she started to cry. This was bad. Clearly, something had happened in her past. And even if this guy wasn't Pistachio... If he even had something to do with this femme's mental problems... No, he couldn't go that route. Not yet.
I put Bear there, but he isn't going to be friendly. But not too bad either. He can't stand prejudices, so needs to be careful with his thoughts.
Bear could help them out, if needed. He's a big sweetheart, really. As long as you don't get him mad.
Elkton looks good! ![]()
If I get Nana's profile done, I'll introduce her as well. :)
Bearstorm wasn't sure what to believe. He would need proof to be convinced of either story, but sadly there was but one way to actually get it, which was asking someone to go to Bloodclan to come and identify the joiners. And in all honesty, he'd rather not do that. But he also knew that just standing here wasn't an option either, certainly not with the pregnant female. At the mention of Talonkit, who appeared soon after, he couldn't help but tense. With a kitten around, things would only get more dangerous. And the biggest problem of them all? Him being a warrior. He had no power to decide something. "We must wait for Jasperstar to make that decision. I wish I could simply allow them to go to camp, but I will not take that risk."
He paused for a few seconds. His mind had spoken. His heart followed soon after. He didn't mind taking the queen and kit back to camp so he could leave Eaglespirit and Pistachio behind and warn Jasperstar while bringing the others to safety. But on the other hand, he didn't want to risk the younger warrior getting injured of killed by a potential Bloodclan murderer. "Waiting here, on the other hand, will possibly cause other problems.", he knew whispering was useless as his voice was way too loud to have silent conversations with. "No one can force you to come to our camp. But if it helps, the medicine den is quiet. You do not need to see everyone. Eaglespirit can keep you company", it was clear to Bearstorm that the female sort of trusted the other warrior, and so he saw no reason to force them apart. "I suggest you take her to the medicine den. Along with the kitten. Talonkit, you can go with them as well."
It was a risk. But he would take responsibility if it turned out wrong. "You will stay here, with me. Until Jasperstar arrives. And if you are who we were warned for... Then I fear this will be as far as you go.", he finished, flicking his tail slightly. That sounded like a fairly correct solution. And it would keep everyone's opinion in mind. Except for one change: He would stay instead of Eaglespirit. Just because he felt like the female was sort of trusting the male... And quite frankly, because he didn't know if the younger warrior would be able to hold his own after barely having completed his training. "Does that sound acceptable?", he was mostly asking Eaglespirit and Talonkit, but he wouldn't mind the other three voicing their opinions. In his eyes, it was a perfectly fine solution for both parties.
Now you made me curious...
“Then stay here. But I would let her make her own decision. Before I actually get mad”, the maine coon rumbled, finally straightening to his full height. It was only in situations like this that you could actually see that the goofball known as Bearstorm was actually one of, if not the, biggest Windclanners. “We only want to help. And considering your... mother’s... physical situation, I would prefer you to let her go. In fact, if my child were to treat her mother that way, I would certainly not agree” it was possibly a sneer towards Pistachio, but he wasn’t sure himself. He had to keep himself from simply smacking the young female on the head. But he wasn’t planning on meddling with other’s family problems. Except for if the ‘mother’, if she really was the mother, wished to go along.
“Or you leave. That’s also an option. So what’s it going to be?” He could feel him. They better didn’t play this kind of game for much longer, because he was quite sure this was going to end badly if they did. He could feel the tension rising, and the longer this took, the more he was actually convinced this was the guy. And the more he was convinced that the child was actually as bad as him. No, the young female’s actions certainly weren’t working in their favour.
"There's one solution to finding out for sure. Asking Bloodclan to come and identify them. I do not like it, but it seems to be the safest", while his rp'er wasn't sure if he could even say such a thing for plot reasons, it was certainly something Bearstorm would come up with. The guy thought so much, from time to time. And if he wasn't thinking, he wasn't Bearstorm. Besides, he knew better than to trust someone right off the bat. Experience had taught him that. "Focus on the pregnant female, Cloudcatcher. She seems to be having the most trouble", he meowed. He was leaving out Pistachio on purpose, simply because he still wasn't convinced these were who they claimed to be. As for their names, well, he would refrain from using them until he was sure it was actually their real name.
Flicking an ear, the maine coon would wait for Jasperstar to agree or disagree. While he wanted to believe their story, he would never be able to forgive himself if the guy turned out to be the one who had hurt the child. And Pistachio would never be able to forgive himself for lying to Bear about such a thing. He'd be dead before the thought would even cross his mind.
Dammit. I want them to get apst Bear, but Bear simply won't budge.
Why did I make him this way...
He couldn't say he agreed. The maine coon's paws simply followed those of Jasperstar, but his mind was screaming for him to turn back. Or at least, it used to. The moment he heard other cats in panic, those thoughts simply... disappeared. They needed help, and while he wasn't quite fond of Bloodclan, he wouldn't let them die. They were an ally, somewhat. And Jasperstar literally expected him to help out, so it wasn't like he had a choice. The leader's word was law, one of the few laws he actually understood. Most of the warrior code was still strange to him.
Taking a deep breath, the maine coon came up next to his leader and followed his example. He was quite glad he was pretty strong right now, as he could immediately feel that the metal cover was quite heavy... And hard to get a grip on. He guessed it would be easy enough once they got a part of it up, then he could just use brute force, but these more 'technical' maneuvers weren't exactly his strong suit. "Jasperstar, if you could lift it just a little, then I'm sure I can push it to the side" he meowed, feeling his muscles tense as he tried to get the object off the ground with little success. He was a bit too big for this part, it seemed, but he wouldn't stop trying. That wouldn't be right.
That was all the maine coon needed, really, as he managed to get his paws under the lid, creating some space. "A little longer", he grumbled as he forced his paws slightly upwards, pinning his ears as his muscles tensed. He hadn't expected this thing to be so heavy, but he also knew that he couldn't give up now. Not to mention that he had a 'title' to protect. He was one of the strongest in Windclan after all, and he needed to prove why his slowness wouldn't hold his clan back. "Gah!", he squirmed his head and neck through the split and let out a huff as he prepared himself for the final push. At least the hard part was over now. The weight was balancing on his head and neck, but his paws could at least support him now.
He tired once, but soon stopped as he already knew he wouldn't manage to make it fall over. He would need enough momentum to actually make it work. He took a deep breath and went through his paws, allowing his heartbeat and breathing to accelerate as he prepared himself for 'launch'."RAAAAAH!", using every muscle in his body, the bulky warrior pushed himself upwards, barely managing to make the disk tip over to the other side. He had a small headache and his paws tremble slightly, but he couldn't help but smile faintly as the disk fell onto the floor, making loud sounds in the process. "COME ON!! THIS WAY!", the maine coon's loud voice thundered down the hole, filling the sewers with ease. For once, a loud voice came in quite handy.
"What are we looking at?", the maine coon asked as he came up next to the other warrior, staring into the distance with slight confusion. He didn't see anything out of the ordinary, really. The vast plains, sure, but he was used to that by now. No, this guy had to be looking at something else, or maybe he was just lost in thought. Oops. Considering Bear's loud voice, he had probably messed up said thoughts by now. "Ah... I'm Bearstorm by the way. I hope I'm not interrupting anything?", he asked curiously, tilting his head slightly as he turned towards the other, offering him a faint smile in greeting. He hadn't really met Pumablaze before, so maybe today would change that.
So much for observing. The maine coon took a few steps forward, making sure Jasperstar would be able to see him. He'd be loyal to his leader, no matter what Lilystar would say in response to Lightningtooth still being the deputy. He was sure Jasperstar would've chosen someone else if he hadn't trusted him anymore. Who? Now that was an interesting question. In fact, Bearstorm had to admit that no one really seemed to be fit for the job. There weren't really that many warriors that seemed to be 'up' to the task. No, Lightning was probably the right decision.
But anywa, he just watched, in silence, knowing that even if he whispered, everyone would have heard it. And this was supposed to be somewhat silent, wasn't it?
This guy... Didn't seem very trustworthy. If it was up to Bear, he would've asked Caledon. Why? Because he sort of knew the guy. THey had fought each other, and he could tell that Caledon at least understood what honor was. And besides, if Pistachio had been accused by Bloodclan of... doing bad things to a kit, then surely he wouldn't mind identifying him either. But obviously, it wasn't up to him. Jasperstar had to decide whether or not to trust the trio of joiners, whether or not to trust every Bloodclanner's opinion and whether or not to agree to them joining. And if it ended up being Pistachio, then Bear would have no problem with ripping him apart. Literally.
Either way, the maine coon just watched as he stopped behind his clan mates, curiously listening to the conversation. CHeck on Windclan, huh? Strange. He hadn't expected a Bloodclanner to turn up except for to come and get some food. Huh. Maybe he was mistaken. Maybe some Bloodclanners weren't all too bad after all.
