    [ NICKNAME/S ] most call him vega, as that's what he prefers someone to call him if he doesn't know them very well.

    [ PREFERRED WEAPON ] guns are more his playing field, though he does know what to do in a fight with only his limbs.

    [ EYES ] his eyes are a light green. well, as light as humanly possible.
    [ FRAME ] muscular but not overly muscular. overly muscular being someone on steroids
    [ BODY MODIFICATIONS ] he has a small tattoo on the inside of his left wrist of his sister's initials, and a much larger tattoo on his back that reaches a bit over his shoulders of poppies.

    [ DETAILED APPEARANCE ] at first glance, vega seems to be a typical athletic guy with two toned hair. you won't notice the little things that make him look like him from just one glance. since it would take more than a handful of glances, i've written this handy dandy guide to thomas vega's appearance below.


    let's start with his skin. since vega loves being in the sun and goes outside a ton, his skin has turned from a sickly pale from when he was young to a gorgeous medium tan. something to note is that vega takes care of his skin, even when he was younger, so you won't find a lot of acne, if at all. he also takes care of his nails, and he glares at anyone who says that taking care of your nails is only for women. anyways, he will occasionally paint his nails, but only if he finds a logical reason for it. his tattoos are probably the most unique things on his body, if you don't count his large amount of freckles. the tattoo on his back is his favorite thing about himself, and features three blooming poppy flowers with splashes of red. the other tattoo is on the inside of his left wrist with his sister's initials 'a.b.v.' in purple ink. his build is simple, he's tall - about six feet - and he definitely has some killer abs. he's athletic, so his muscles pretty much stay the same.


    onto his face. vega's eyes are probably some of the most expressive eyes you will ever see. he can hide his emotions pretty well, but sometimes his eyes give him away. the irises themselves are a light green with golden specs of color close to his pupil. the inner corners of his eyes tilt up just a bit, just enough that you would notice the tilt if you stared long enough. vega's lips are pretty average for a guy, but his nose is very strong and straight. vega has two toned hair that he has grown out and has it styled to look less messy than it is naturally almost all the time.

    [ PERSONALITY ] vega loves to speak his mind, and a lot of the time it's on impulse. he doesn't really have a filter on what comes out of his mouth, and ends up hurting people by accident sometimes. regardless, he is very friendly with new people and if he ends up feeling that they're a good person to trust, he will trust them with his life. that is, if you don't break his trust. it's not easy to lose his trust, but it's also not easy for people to gain it. vega is incredibly ambitious, and strives to be the best, within reason.


    he is an observer at heart, and takes his time before rushing into something dangerous. however, this isn't the case for social situations, as he very often rushes into things without thinking when it comes to people. he is very passionate about the ones he loves, as well as his hobbies. he likes to draw, paint, anything that has to do with making visual art really. he isn't afraid to get his hands dirty. vega can usually sway people with his words and his charm, but it is possible for the person to realize what he's doing.

    [ WEAKNESSES ] social situations definitely, wanting to be the best certainly causes some issues, hell even romantic feelings are something he's not very skilled with.

    brandon is generally a very cheerful and optimistic person. brandon loves order, he likes the feeling of knowing what to expect. he doesn't like sudden change, and he does freak out when the change is significant for him. whether these freak outs are small or big depend on how the changes affect him. whenever he likes someone, he gets the slightest bit shy around them. he doesn't turn into goo at the sight of the person, but he will talk less and listen more when they are around. he's incredibly shy about his artwork, and rarely lets anyone see his work. if anything he's a bit secretive about himself. he's also really stubborn when it comes to his friendships, and doesn't like it when his friends get hurt. it takes awhile for him to open up to most people, but when he does, expect the truth. no one is really sure if brandon means to be so blunt, but he doesn't sugar coat many things. he tells it like it is, and almost never lies about anything - unless it's about himself.

    (history) brandon was born to a deaf mother who was 19 when he was born. he doesn't remember much of when he was a baby, but he does remember joy, being loved, and comfort. amanda cassell wanted the best for her child, while still being able to keep him, so when she learned she was giving birth in july, she contacted her parents, who had been nothing but helpful and kind. they worked things out, and the mother and child duo went to live with peter and juliet cassell in america. while his mother went to university for art, brandon was home-schooled until he was six. his grandparents teaching him french, english, american sign language, mathematics, the sciences, reading and writing, and the history of america and numerous other countries. when he was thirteen his grandmother passed away, and being incredibly close to her, brandon became a recluse for three years, hardly ever coming out of his room. he stayed healthy, but he slept a lot, and didn't talk to anyone except for his mother. even then, those conversations were short and clipped. his mother wasn't angry with him, brandon just wanted to be left alone. one day his mother sat him down and started to sign, her only method of communicating besides writing. she told him that he would lose people who he loved, that it was a given factor in this life. she told him that it hurt to lose people, but no matter what, you had to stay strong and cherish the relationships you have. 'because you never know when things will change. you never know when someone close to you will die. but you do know, that you have to hold those memories close to you and continue to live. because no one wants to see anyone unable to continue to live a normal life because they ran out of time, whether they're on this plane of existence or somewhere else. you have to keep going while you remember them. while you remember her.' brandon's mother's words that day spoke to him, and he stopped hiding in his room, and picked up art. when his grandfather passed away when he was eighteen, brandon mourned, but kept going. his grandparent's deaths ended up shaping him, making him stronger in a way. one day, when he realized that he could shift into a meerkat, he panicked. this wasn't normal, he said to himself, how is this even possible, he wondered. when his mother found out, she told him that she would always love him, no matter what. three days later he found his mother signing to a man who was much taller than her, telling him he needed to leave. the man got angry at some point and pulled out a gun. when his mother saw him, she signed 'run, remember i love you' so quickly that brandon almost didn't catch it. his mother smiled lovingly at him, and he nodded, smiling the same way she did, and ran. brandon eventually found the others a year later, quickly adapting to the life.
