For some time he had wanted to give a class on astronomy, celestial bodies, and the like to the clan, but every time he tried he'd get cold feet and try to forget about the idea entirely. This had to be the tenth time (at the least) that the astronomer had decided to give a lecture and he told himself that, this time, he'd finally do it. So, there he was, waiting for his clanmates to enter the room and take their seats as he hopped down from his position on the podium and headed over to a panel of switches where (after experimenting with them for a bit to find out which did what) he pressed the largest and the room's steel dome retracted, showing off the cloudless night sky in all its glory, without any light pollution or aerial vehicles blocking the view.
