Bump~

Kaito listened closely, very interested in what Aoi might say. He was somewhat worried it was something about him, specifically about his irrational behavior. So he waited, nervously, until the tiniest, quietest little whisper came from Aoi. He only barely caught it, and wasn't even sure if he had heard right. "You.... Love me?" Kaito's voice became quiet, and his face very closely resembled a tomato. He became worried as Aoi tried to move away, and tried to stop him.

Those three words rang in his ears, and he smiled. A smile that held more joy and love than one had ever held before. "Aoi I... Um... I love you too..." His voice came out in a volume much similar to Aoi's had been before. He was so happy, he thought he was the only one. Kaito was so afraid that if he ever confessed, Aoi would think he was strange. Kaito himself had thought it was strange at first too, but gladly accepted his feelings. Now he was admitting those feelings, and they had been mutual.

(It's fine, I've been having a low muse lately as well)

As Oliver looked away, he noticed the scenery becoming much more green and foresty. He paused for moment, allowing himself to enjoy the peaceful area. The sky was transforming into a nice sunset, and the chatter of many different Pokemon rang through the trees. "Hey Cyrus, we may need to find a place to set up camp." Oliver suggested, regaining his pace to match his companion.

(I think it is. I know it was done in the anime many times.)

"Hmm... I guess a Pokemon Center would be safer..." Oliver pondered this, before nodding to back up his decision. "I mean, it's only if there's one near by..." His sentence drifted of, before he kneeled down and opened his bag. Oliver rummaged around before pulling out a somewhat weathered map, trying to find their current location.

Oliver stiffened as Cyrus leaned over his shoulder surprised at their close proximity. He soon ignored it and returned his attention to the map. He gazed thoughtfully at it, and nodded. "Yeah, and we came from..." He looked around before pointing, "This city!" Oliver was proud of himself for figuring out their location, even if Cyrus helped a little. It was mostly me. He thought arrogantly, before looking at the map once again. "I'm not sure wether a Pokemon Center is close by or not..." Oliver looked closely, but he was having a hard time finding anything.

Kaito just sort of stood there, unsure of what to do next. Maybe it was because of the excitement filling him, stunning him into happy silence. This had never happened to Kaito before, and he finally understood everything. The feelings, the glances, the care for your loved ones... He was finally experiencing that, and it was amazing.

"Aoi... What do we do now?" He was quite embaressed to admit he didn't know what happened after you confessed. Do you go on a date? Do you ask to be his boyfriend? Do you... Kiss? Kaito's face lit up all the way to his ears at the thought of kissing Aoi. He realized he sounded 7 years old, thinking about what to do with his first crush.

"Yeah, I guess so. B-but don't think I'm going to sleep next to you or anything." Oliver spluttered, his bad habit of arguing with Cyrus showing. He didn't really mean to say something snappy, he just did. He looked at the map one last time, just to make sure, before folding it up. Packing up his bag once again, Oliver stood up and surveyed the area. This forest didn't seem too dangerous, but to be honest, no one wanted to encounter the Pokemon that come out at night. Especially the more vicious ones.

"Sure. I'll get some food out for everyone." He pulled different food items from his back pack, such as cans and and water bottles. He began fixing food for himself and Cyrus, as well as some Pokemon food for the Pokemon. Oliver also laid out a blanket for them to sit on. Standing up, he pulled out some pokeballs, three in each hand, and let his teammates out. The Pokemon, Venusaur, Pidgeotto, Dragonair, Jolteon, Sandslash and Vaporeon stretched and chattered, happy to be out. Oliver smiled brightly, happy to see the team he loved out of their cozy spheres.

Kaito nodded, excited about the idea of a date. He became somewhat lost in his thoughts, trying to imagine a good date. They could meet up somewhere, go to the movies... He resisted the urge to smile dreamily, but was snapped out of his thoughts when he noticed Aoi moving closer. He thought he might hug him again, but his now calm expression became nervous. Aoi was leaning up, getting nearer and nearer until...

Soft lips connected with his own, and Kaito sighed happily. He had never kissed before, and was more than happy his first one was with Aoi. Clumsily, he tried to return the kiss, slowly moving his arms around the shoulders of the young man in front of him. After a while he pulled away, blushing fiercely at their closeness.

Kaito truly couldn't believe today. Everything had started out so normal! He went to his job, doing what you do at your job, and now... He had chased Aoi to this point, they confessed their love to each other and then... They shared their first ever kiss. It was so magical, he wanted to pinch himself to make sure it wasn't a dream.

Oliver nodded, and went in the opposite direction. He also didn't stray to far, looking along the ground to find fallen branches and twigs. He glanced up, and asked Venusaur if he would gather branches as well. Venusaur let out grumble of agreement before stretching some vines up into the trees, snapping of the weaker ones from their bases. Oliver found a particularly rocky area, and decided to pick up some stones to put around their fire.

Hullo! This thread is based on the Soulmate AU, which I think is absolutely adorable. It's only WIP because I'm not sure which variation to do. I'll explain the three I'd really like to do.

1* From the time a child turns five years old, they can no longer see colors. They live their lives, only being able to see black, white, and grey. This happens to everyone. The only way to regain the ability to see colors is to look your soulmate in the eye. The moment you look said person in the eyes, the world changes. Colors, unexplainable to these people, brighten up their whole entire life. And in the middle, shining the brightest, is the person their destined to be with forever.

2* At some point in a person's life, words write themselves on their wrist. These words are the first words you hear from your soulmate. It doesn't matter who speaks first, if the first things you say to each match what's on your wrists, you are soulmates.

3* (This one is quite similar to the one above) At a random point in a person's life, letters will start appearing somewhere on your body. These letters continue to appear, they might not be in order, until they finally spell out the name of you soulmate. You are destined to meet each other, even if it seems impossible. So don't give up hope! Love conquers all.

So, yeah! If you're interested, please tell me which one you'd like to do. I'm hoping to play a girl, so I'd prefer your character to be a guy. If you can't do guys, I may consider switching genders.

Deciding his arms were full, Oliver called to Venusaur before heading back to their campsite. Both he and his starter set down what they had gathered. Carefully arranging the small stones around the sticks, he stepped back and said, "Alright, go ahead."

Kaito smiled at Aoi's words. "You can distract me any day, especially if it turns out like this." With a soft look in his eyes, he chuckled. It was true running away from your job wasn't exactly the smartest idea in the world, but Kaito didn't mind. He came to comfort Aoi, and was certainly glad he had. "Besides, they probably won't fire me. They don't have enough cashiers." His smile became a grin at his own statement. It was true, Kaito had come in to save the day at that supermarket, so there was no way they could fire him... Hopefully.

"Awesome!" Oliver smiled brightly at the proposition, he hadn't had s'mores in forever. In fact, he tried not to eat many sweets, as a certain Vaporeon very much liked candy. He sat there, basking in the warmth of the fire. At first the forest was quite scary, but now it seemed beautiful. The fire let off a soft glow, and the stars twinkled above them.

Suddenly remember they were about to eat, Oliver reached behind him, grabbing two cans of fruit and two cans of beans. Sure, it was a strange combination, but it would have to do. Oliver pulled out a pocket knife and carefully cut open the cans. He handed canned fruit and canned beans to Cyrus, careful to avoid the fire.

"I'll be more careful next time." Kaito promised, stepping back from Aoi. "Well, um, it'd be too weird to go back right now..." He stumbled with his words, before asking quietly, "Would you like to do something with me? You can choose..." To be honest, he just didn't want to anything today. Well, at least not leave his new found... Well, he wasn't quite sure what to call Aoi. He wanted to say boyfriend, but he still wasn't sure how this whole thing worked. While thinking, he nervously added, "I mean, you don't have too..."

Oliver extended a hand and caught the fork carefully. He eagerly shoveled food in his mouth, occasionally stopping to give some to his Pokemon. Realizing how barbaric he must've looked, his pace slowed down a bit, trying to enjoy his food. Of course, canned food wasn't amazing, but it was something. Besides, s'mores were promised!

"You know, this isn't so bad... The forest is actually sort of, well, pretty." Oliver wasn't the kind to through out nice things like that, so he definitely meant what he had said. His Pokemon were here, the cool breeze of the night whistled through the trees, and he finally had human company. So, yeah, all of this was new and exciting to him.

Sounds good to me. To be honest, the second variation is my favorite, so I'm glad you like it. I guess all we need to do know is pair up our characters and figure out what they'll say to each other. Thanks for joining! :)

As he gazed at Aoi, he realized by his facial expression that he wasn't sure where to go. "If it's okay with you, we could go to a movie." Kaito suggested, however he didn't know which movie to go to. A movie seemed like a good idea to him, as that's what he thought couples did. Considering before, Kaito was once again embaressed that he didn't know what you did on a first date. At least they were gathering ideas.

Oliver nodded, as if to say 'I agree'. Contrary to his earlier belief, it seemed as if there weren't many night-going Pokemon in this area. Which was good, considering he didn't want to do any sort of fighting right now. He just wanted to enjoy his food and the surroundings. Oliver looked down, realizing he had very little food left. Quickly finishing, he looked at Cyrus with a happy look in his eyes. "Can I make s'mores now?" Oliver asked, excited to assemble one of his favorite desserts.

Fine by me! I'll make mine as well.
