"We usually go down to the forest floor to collect herbs, but we can find some of them on the island," Snowstorm answered. She was very glad that some of the ones that took longest to collect were usually on the island. Tensing up, she leaped from the branch, spreading her wings so that she landed softly in front of Mudpaw and Creekpaw.
Mudpaw looked up at her. "So do herbs grow on the island or do u have to leave the island to find herbs," Creekpaw asked.
Smokepelt nodded. "Why don't they leave it's better than living in fear isn't it?"
Berrypaw worked on Streampaw's wounds quitely focusing on what she does.

"Sometimes a game is made out of herb hunting," Snowstorm told Mudpaw, smiling at the last one that they had. Turning her attention to Creekpaw's question, she fell silent for a few moments. Blinking, she spread out her wings. "They can be both an advantage and a disadvantage. If we were fighting in say, a thick forest, we would be worse off. Now, if it was a wide open space, or somewhere with enough room to fly, we would have an advantage, saying we could strike from the sky." Folding her wing back in, Snowstorm wrapped her tail around her front paws.
Berrypaw gave a nod at Streampaw. "Here these should help the pain if u have any," she said handing over some seeds.
Mudpaw stared at her. "That seems quite fun," he said. "Is fighting different for your clan," Creekpaw asked. "Considering you have wings is it east to dodge attacks?"

"The occasional bird, but other than that we usually do all of our hunting down in the forest," Snowstorm mewed. "I think that most non-flying animals probably ran off the edge. Although, we do get the occasional non-flying animal up there, but not very often."
"Oh," Creekpaw said. Mudpaw looked at his sister then back. "What prey do u find on the island," he asked.

"Foxes are occasional occurrences , and I heard that there was once a few badgers in our territory, but they were driven out. The badgers seemed to have learned their lesson, but not the foxes," Snowstorm answered. She smiled at Wingpaw, then did a quick sweep with her eyes over the gathering.
"It's going to be ok, " Toast said.
Berrypaw looked at her siblings. "There u are Berrypaw," Mudpaw said looking at his sister. Creekpaw looked at the two approaching. "Hello," she said. "Do u have to deal with badger's and foxes," Mudpaw asked Snowstorm.

Snowstorm hit herself lightly with one of her wings. "I didn't think that you meant on the island, I thought you meant down below us in the forest." Letting out a mreow of amusement, she shook her head. "They keep on invading our territory that's on the ground, is what I meant."
"Why don't you grab them like they are kits and fly down to the forest and leave them," Mudpaw said.
Toast put his hands in his pockets and smiled shyly at Kira
Berrypaw looked at Streampaw.

Spreading her wings, Snowstorm glided over to a tree that was a little farther away from all the weirdness going on. Stretching her paws out, Snowstorm dug her claws into the tree as her fluffy white tail lashed to keep her balance. Turning around on the branch, she folded her wings against her sides and watched with confusion what was going on with the humans and shapeshifters.
