    Stumpypaw is, at least, a familiar face, and she looks to the smaller tomcat with a radiant smile. In truth, perhaps none of them should be out there, and she feels bad, then, for drawing Minnownose out and Stumpypaw over.

Tilting her head, her maw parts for a reply but her unhinged jaws hang that way for a few heartbeats longer than needed. The girl tries rather in a manner akin to futile to either start a conversation or get her on her paws.

    [font=arial][size=8][fancypost borderwidth=0pt; font-size: 11px; font-family: ; text-align: justify; width: 350px;]paranoia is perhaps the largest issue i have, among other things. i've realized that, looking back, i let so much pass me by due to my paranoia and fear of something or someone or anything that i truly could not have known. now our lives may be different, but if i can offer you one bit of advice, it's to not be paranoid. i know that sounds super lame, and super condescending, but i promise you it's the truth. for all my life i've been paranoid of what others think of me, how they view me, that i've lost years of what could have been enjoyable youth to a girl who was always scared her friends didn't actually like her, or that those who spent time with her only did so so they could secretly make fun of her behind her back. but paranoia is not truth, is it? all the time i spent as a reclusive youth all because i thought things, but did i know them? not really.


    darling i'd toss those vibes right out the window, as they're nothing more than that. they're not the truth, and even if you knew the truth, there is no reason you have to let it tear you down like this! i have struggled with self confidence all my life, as i'm a rather shy individual, but when i found out how to fake confidence even when i trembled inwardly, it worked wonders, and they were more inward. they altered how i thought of myself, and thus in turn altered how i thought others thought about me. there was a quote once and i forgot how it truly went but in short what it said was 'how you think others view you is how you will view you' and that's true.


    if you want that anxiety to leave you alone, leave it alone.. face the second semester and all your friends with confidence regardless of how you think they'll view you. you can't change their view, but you can change yours.

  • What to do about backboards and shrinking member base? [Staff Wanted]

    unfortunately guys i can't say anything for certain, but i can bring stuff up with the other staff and see what we can do. i know dynamo is working super hard on the transfer and frost has so many other things on her plate, these issues may have to wait until later on.
    another thing to consider is things change. while a clan may have been all the rage awhile back, some just simply aren't interested anymore. one thing we cannot help is clans in the backboards losing activity - please understand we cannot have them all on the frontboards, it is inevitable that some are going to be moved back. i myself want to do something to battle this issue, and i understand completely where you guys are coming from, i'm just not sure what can be done at the current time. uvu


    as for trashing some backboards, we may have to do that, i'll talk to frost and maple and dynamo and whatnot about this. just know we're often very busy and again, this issue may not gain the attention it needs right away (^B

  • Why doesn't the US do something about religious cults?

    [font=arial][size=8][fancypost borderwidth=0pt; font-size: 11px; font-family: ; text-align: justify; width: 350px;]simply because the government is corrupt as hell lmao. i myself am a christian and there are those who title themselves as followers of christ but yet what they do such horrible things uvu but yeah, the government actually doesn't care, and they would actually encourage such things considered how horrible things are higher up in the hierarchy. when i was younger and had little idea of what a horrible place the world is, i was happier and then when i slowly became more accustomed to the truths of life, it got me super sad and angry at how simply corrupt humanity is uvu


    especially because nobody is really willing to do anything about it.
    & freedom of religion is a thing unless that religion entails things such as sacrifice & whatnot, but like i said (^B the government doesn't give a shit
