I smile back at Silverkit. "Hehe, totally..." I gaze at the forest miles and miles around.

I soared over the forest, searching for a sign of something to eat. In the midst, I saw a bear. I summoned a bolt of lightning and struck it where it stood. I swooped down and devoured it whole.

I smiled. "Yeah... that's happened quite a number of times.."

I sigh, remembering past memories. "Ya know me and your father used to clash all the time" I say with a small smile. "That was until... ya know"

"Yeah... Ha, you know, did I ever tell you? How...it happened?" I look at her with curiosity.

I look into her pleading eyes, and sighed. "Well... our enemies, the Shadow dragons, attacked our clan one night. I was your father's queen. He fought with bravery, but they... pinned him down and he couldn't move. There was nothing i could do..." I fought back tears. "From then on, I swore I would battle, and I would fight for this kingdom. For your father."

I looked to her and smiled. She was curious, just like him, but stubborn like me... She would not give up o this topic. "Well... we were both younglings, and we grew up together. Him being a wind dragon, and I a lightning dragon. We created, "a storm" together. We absolutely hated each other. I wanted him to die!" I laughed remembering. "Then one day, he just kissed me! It was really weird. We were both just apprenticed at the time. I didn't have an ounce of royal blood, yet he was the heir to the throne! Still, I became his queen." I smiled. "That was a good day..."
