[fancypost borderwidth=0; text-align: justify;][size=9pt]Something about Clarity kind of creeped Ellie out, but when Augustpaw introduced her for her, she realised something. She was mute. That was why she unnerved Eleanor! "Pleasure to meet you lot," she said, looking at all of them in turn and memorising their faces and names. Shit, that was a lot of people. Ellie wasn't quite sure if she liked it or not.

[fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; width: 400px; height: auto; line-height:95%; font-family: georgia;][justify]For her weekly task, Ellie was rediscovering something that she'd used to adore. Acrylic paints! She had a tray-like thing full of different colours and a couple paintbrushes, along with a bucket of water so she could clean her brushes pretty easily. The girl picked up a thin brush and began smearing brown paint on it.

She created something that looked like the trunk of a tree, then adding several branches to it. After cleaning the brown paint off, she started on the pink paint. Eleanor made small flowers run along the branches, wrapping around them like ivy. Cleaning her brush again, she drowned the brush in green paint and added leaves around the flowers.

Stepping back, she wiped her non-existent brow and sighed contentedly. Huh, it had actually turned out pretty good despite her crappy painting skills. Well, that had been arduous but rewarding. A warm smile lit up her features as she let a light laugh leave her lips.

[fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; width: 400px; height: auto; line-height:95%; font-family: georgia;][justify]When she heard Michael's voice, it was her first instinct to freak out. That's what anxiety did to people. "OH, MY GO– oh, god, I'm sorry.. u-um, thank you? I guess? Sorry, um.." "FUCK!" Ellie sighed and closed her eyes for a few seconds, concentrating on breathing properly. In, out. In, out. In... "Look, I'm sorry for freaking out. I'm not a people person." Eleanor apologised.

[fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; width: 400px; height: auto; line-height:95%; font-family: georgia;][justify]Still a bit scatty, she shook her head with a smile and said, "No, don't say sorry. I need to work on being less scared of literally everything." Looking at him and then back at the painting, she shrugged. "I used to, but then I kinda grew out of it. I don't know what happened but yeah, something did and that means that I haven't bothered to paint anything for about a year."

[fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; width: 400px; height: auto; line-height:95%; font-family: georgia;][justify]Eleanor smiled sheepishly and shrugged. "I-it's nothing, honestly.. I just had to do it for a weekly task thing, it could've been way better." It was pretty obvious that she wasn't good at accepting compliments. It was yet another thing she needed to work on. "But, uh, thank you anyway, Luke." She cleared her throat quickly afterwards, releasing a sigh from her lips.
