These feelings were the only ones the demon possessed. After being conquered by an ancient god centuries ago, Kizami was finally able to collect enough spirits to manifest a new body- one he could personally take over to begin his ascension to power once more. Of course, with this new physical form came some errors to it as well; Kizami couldn't predetermine where this form would end up, and frankly he didn't care where as long as it was far from his previous battlefield. Secondly, this body was weak in its current state, though he supposed he could always try to counter this by altering back to his celestial existence.
By the time his eyes adjusted to the light boring down on him, Kizami noticed a blood red lake before him- welcoming to a demon of his kind. At least wherever I've ended up seems to be decent. He'd think, pushing himself to weary feet as nine tails unraveled calmly behind him, a malicious gleam already apparent in his silvery-blue hues (in which also held the faintest tint of red if one looked him directly in the eye). The former demon lord flicked an ear, glancing about before heading on into the forest, oblivious to the fact he was in already-occupied lands.
