    The little pink and white impressionist trainee was sitting in camp near the pond, watching the koi fish swim around and bobbing up to the top for food, even though there wasn't any food. it was peaceful watching them, much more peaceful then walking around talking to everyone as if she was the most happiest and cheerful SunClanner of them all. It's true, she was happy, but she wasn't the happiest, or at least it didn't seem like it to her. Sure, Vanillatwilight was the best mom in the world and Sharkbait was the best cousin - or whatever he was - in the world, and her friends were the best friends in the world, but she had lost who she really was while trying to be the best, the most perfect, the one who never made mistakes.


    She shook her head, knowing it wouldn't do any good to be thinking so negatively. She was sure that the harder she tried to be perfect, eventually it will just happen. Hya tried to think about something else, but the only other thing that she could focus on thinking about was Rainbowveins. Yes, Rainbowveins, the one everyone looked up to. In Hyacinthia's eyes, Rainbow was perfect. Maybe that was because she was crushing on her, or maybe it was because she was perfect. All she knew was that she wanted to spend more time with her, see how she did it.


    She lifted up her head from staring at the pond and looked around the camp to find the Master Illusionist. Once she caught sight of her, she flicked her tail towards herself, inviting the she-cat to come over and talk to her. She gave a smile in greeting, hoping that Rainbowveins wasn't too busy to talk.

    As she continued walking next to the she-cat and listening to her talk, her smile never left her face. I mean, that was normal for Hyacinthia, but that was only normal for her trying-to-be-perfect personality. This smile was staying on her face out of pure, true joy. For once, she wasn't hiding her true personality and she was also spending time with someone she ha been wanting to get to know ever since she joined this clan.


    When question arose about her past, she had to think back to before she joined SunClan. Damn, it seemed like such a long time ago for her, but it really wasn't. How long had she been in the clan, like a moon or two? That was only in "in character" time, too. Answering her question, Hya said, "I grew up with my birth mother, who my birth father had left after he found out she was having me. We were loners, and she raised me for a few moons until she was murdered while she went out to hunt. At least I think she was murdered, I mean, she never came back. After that, I traveled for a couple moons until I found SunClan."
