Shuffy steeped over, ears perking with interest. This could be his chance to actually be able to learn more about herbs, and maybe even end up getting chosen for the position.

The snow leopard cub plopped down in front of Lotusfall, unable to contain his excitement. He remembered learning about the basics from that nice lady that he had met in the loner lands. What was her name again? Ah yeah - her name was Birdie!

Maybe he could use the knowledge that Birdie had taught him during this lesson. Yeah, that's what he planned to do.

Shuffledcub nodded at the next few announcements about the invitations, debating about whether or not he wanted to attend. Yes, they did sound fun, but his shyness always seemed to get in the way.

Then Lotusfall began to speak. The snow leopard perked up in interest, wondering what the medic had to say. Was this it? Was this the time for him to pick his new apprentice?

Apparently it was. And Shuffy couldn't be more thrilled at his choice. Him? Lotus wanted him to be the next junior medic? Shuffledcub felt an odd mix of excitement and nervousness prick at him. "I a-accept! Th-thank you Lo-Lotusfall!"

To the newly promoted cub this was a dream come true.

The heat was bothersome for him, considering that he had layers and layers of fur. He wasn't exactly meant to be in warmer climates, so these tips on how to handle the hot weather would certainly come in use. As for the information about the Exiles, well, Shuffledcub wasn't all too thrilled for the battle. He wasn't much of a fighter. Maybe he could stay on the sidelines and help Lotusfall heal anyone who gains injuries? Yeah, that's what he'd probably do. Then came the information about the events, and he nodded at them. A mass adopt would be good. They would need all the new members they could get! Now a slumber party? That would sound fun for those who loved social activities. Shuffy wasn't one of those. He may go, but he most likely would be that one person sitting by themselves in a corner, as sad as that seems.

Modernpaw was demoted? The snow leopard nodded, knowing that it was for the best if Aerosky thought so. He couldn't help but feel bad though. Hopefully Modern would be able to step it up and earn their position back. And activity wasn't no longer priority? The Junior Medic liked the sound of that. It was such a relief, not having to worry about being as active as he possibly could. Now he could just focus and his duties and development. Woohoo!
