♢Plot♢

[color=#8EB4E6]What if I were to tell you that somehow, under certain circumstances, the Crystal Gems and all of the other cast of characters were stuck with eachother in a crumby town by the name of Beach City? This would include the Homeworld Trio, the humans, the Crystal Gems... Everyone. Bubbling hatred or dislike for one another still exists, so how will they all cope, knowing they're all stuck living together?

[color=#8EB4E6]In the cozy town of Beach City, the Gems live in the temple on the beach, which used to just be owned by the Crystal Gems. However, now, not only they live there.

♢Rules♢

1. I don't mind swearing whatsoever, and if you do mind it, there's a censor thing you can turn on. In other words, swear if you want to.
2. Never direct your swearing, however, at another person OOC.
3. Don't get too romantic-y. PM or fade in and out if need be. Stuff like that can get you banned on Feral Front.
4. Try not to cause very much drama OOC. Drama should stay within the IC zone.
5. All you have to do is tell me which character you'd like to play as, and I'll add them to the taken list.

Playful and kind to Steven, and bitter and mistrusting towards the Crystal Gems. Takes a pacifistic approach to dangerous situations, believing that struggling will only make it much worse. Is passionate, willing to go to great lengths to return home and such. She is loyal to those she trusts and loves, and could be labeled a martyr, willing to protect her loved ones at the expense of her well being. She will fight back at anyone who stands against her, and can be stubborn or uncooperative when accepting help.

(( Just jump right in! I'm like a mega huge fan of the Homeworld Trio, and I mean a huge fan. It'll just be a casual thing, I prefer semi-advanced sorta, meaning don't just put three sentences down unless the muse is running low. Also you can totally swear. If someone doesn't like swearing, there's a censor option in your profile. If anything gets too... Romantic, I guess, take it to PM ( dunno if that's even allowed though ), or fade in/out. Anyways yeah! Not too much else to say... But I'll make the thread private after both Peridot and Jasper are taken. Any kind of ship goes if it develops. Poly, Jaspidot, Jaspis, Lapidot, anything. I personally ship all of those ships, although they aren't really.. Healthy, relationships, is how I put it. Mainly Jaspis though. Also, if you couldn't tell, I'll be Lapis Lazuli. Also I have NO idea how to start this off, so whatever. :P I'm kind of putting this plot after Malachite finally broke apart and unfused, which obviously hasn't happened yet. But whatever, for the sake of the rp, let's pretend it did. ))

The shuffling of sand and shells could be heard as the blue gem paced on the shore of Beach City, her bare feet growing hot everytime she stepped down on the burning sand. Lapis was fuming, she was pissed off, to say the least, at Peridot and Jasper. After being coaxed into becoming Malachite and trapping Jasper and her at the bottom of the sea for weeks, she eventually couldn't keep it up. Hence, she did her best to unfuse that monster. So now, thanks to Peridot and Jasper, all three of them were stuck on the miserable planet by the name of Earth. Well, lucky for her, she still had a chance to go back home, using her liquidated Lapis Lazuli wings. But... Did she even want to go back? It was so different since she'd last seen it... So advanced... A sigh was elicited from the gem as she sat down on the beach, her feet touching the water. If it wasn't for the other two, she wouldn't be in this mess. Well... Rather.. If it wasn't for the Crystal Gems. "Where are those two, anyways?" she mumbled to herself, looking around.

Lapis rubbed her eyes, muttering to herself and brushing some sand off of her shoulders with her other hand. She knew that Jasper couldn't be too far away from where she was, which made her wary. But she was exhausted to say the least, after having to keep Malachite contained in Earth's ocean. It made her grow unbearably weary. The fusion took a toll on her, being formed together by hate after all, it was no surprise. Lapis hoped Jasper wouldn't be planning on even trying to trap her or whatever again, maybe she was just as worn down as Lazuli. Peridot on the other hand... She had no idea about. Heck, Lapis didn't even know if she was alive, after the crash had happened. But maybe Peridot managed to escape. Her mind trailed back to Steven, and she hugged her knees to her chest, resting her forehead on them. She hoped he was okay. Last time she saw him, he seemed to be, but she couldn't be so sure that he was alright.

(( Nonono, it's perfect! Sorry if my replies are a tad shorter than yours. I've lost some of my muse a bit. But I'm trying to get it back up there. ))

Pearl, who had been listening to the conversation between Garnet and Steven, stood shakily on her long legs. "Garnet.. Perhaps Steven is right. We can't waste another moment not looking for Malachite. After all, they couldn't have gone that far, right? If it's true that Lapis Lazuli is trying to hold Malachite down..." she put a finger on her bottom lip, her other hand adjusting the uncomfortable lifejacket that Steven had coaxed her to wear. "Then they shouldn't be too far away, right?" she inquired to Garnet, more asking that to herself rather than the taller gem. Unfortunately, they really had no clue where the fusion was, in reality. She could be close, but she could also be way out there too. Pearl's eyebrows furrowed in thought. Why did Earth's oceans have to be so big? It could take them forever to find the fusion, although she didn't like to admit it. And by the time they would... Could it be that they potentially could be too late? What if Lapis can't hold on much longer?

Amethyst was leaning over the raft slightly, peering down into the water. "Even if we do find Malachite, what do we do then?" she asked, turning around and sitting on the raft to get comfortable. "But," she started, putting her hands behind her head and sighing, "I agree with Steven, let's stay out her for a bit more. Kinda relaxing, floating in the middle of nowhere," she snorted, closing her eyes.

Pearl smiled at Steven's enthusiasm, nodding. "That would be wonderful, of course. For all we know, Malachite could be right under our noses," the gem said, which rewarded a nod from Amethyst, whom was still relaxing against the side of the raft. "I just wonder what we'll do with them once we unfuse them, though..." Pearl said quietly, putting her slim hand under her sharp chin in a thoughtful manner. The slender gem shook her head though, removing all doubt she had from her head. "I'm sure Garnet will figure out something," she added. Pearl seemed to rely a lot on the largest gem for many things. After all, usually she was the one that planned stuff out. Amethyst, on the other hand, rolled her eyes subtly. "Heh, yeah. If she can even manage to tear the two apart," she said, delivering a glare from Pearl.

Sand kicked up as the fusion struggled within itself, the ongoing battle of who shall prevail and control Malachite evident in the large gem's actions. Abruptly, it opened all four of it's eyes as Garnet approached, peering at the gem. Suddenly, a loud and piercing cry was elicited from the fusion as Garnet's gauntlets ripped into it's face. More sand bellowed up from the ground as the fusion struggled against it's restraints, feeling the brute force of the other gem tearing them apart. "NO," it screamed, the voice sounding like two, rather than one. After all, Malachite was not formed by trust or love, it was formed with hate and mistrust. It was more corrupt. Another "NO," sounded from the fusion. Malachite's face was nearly torn in two, it couldn't take anymore of Garnet's strength as it began to unfuse. "Ǹ̨̖Oͤ͒ͨ̊, S̬̒Ṭ̹͓OP," it screamed again, causing a shift in the water and rocks to topple over as it slammed its body down. The last plea that had resonated from the fusion sounded more like familiar tone this time. Lapis.

Standing on shaky legs, the blue gem stood, her body aching. "I.. Should get out of here..." she muttered to herself, attempting to summon her wings, but to no avail. She mumbled a quiet curse as she kicked the sand, before looking around her. There wasn't anywhere else to go, really. With not knowing the whereabouts of Peridot or Jasper, she was a tad frantic to get out of there. Lapis began to walk down the shoreline, her short hair catching the wind slightly as a breeze picked up. She felt pathetic. She was worn down, tired, and emotionally exhausted. Lapis's mind trailed off to Jasper again though, the thought of the white haired gem causing her to pick up her pace. If she was caught again, then what? Could she even take on Jasper again? Being a fairly weak gem, she doubted it. She only was able to trick Jasper because she underestimated the water gem. Another circumstance like that was unlikely to arise, of course. Atleast she had the ability to control water, which was useful considering she was next to an ocean. But her gem was drastically low on energy. Heavens know how long it would take to recuperate from the energy she used up on Malachite. Shaking her head, however, she tried to loose any thoughts of doubt, and just kept moving.

Lapis winced as her leg buckled underneath her, and she let out a hiss as she collapsed on the ground. Her body was damaged pretty badly, luckily not enough to cause her to retreat to her gem. All it needed was some time... Her eyes widened as she heard a sound behind her, soft footsteps in the sand. Lapis turned her head quickly behind her, her heart dropping as she saw Jasper. Mustering all her strength that she could, she attempted to summon her wings again. Liquidated lapis began to form something, but it wasn't remotely strong enough to even carry her in the slightest. She just turned her back away from Jasper, as to make sure her weak spot wasn't in the view of the larger gem. Slowly, she backed up, gritting her teeth as she put out her arm towards the sea, attempting to atleast gather one wave that could protect her. Alas, though, she was basically powerless against Jasper. "Go... Away," she muttered, her brows furrowing as she glared at the approaching Homeworld gem.

Pearl nearly fell over, her gaze drifting to the surface of the water and inhaling sharply. "Was that..." she started, although Steven ended up finishing the sentence. As for Amethyst, who had been leaning unsafely against the edge of the raft, ended up falling over the edge, a splash being heard as she fell into the water. Popping her head above the surface, she spit some water out, blinking as she felt the ripples. "Woah.. Guess you were right, P," Amethyst paused to laugh, although it sounded more like a snort, "They really were right under our noses. Right... Again," she muttered the last part under her breath.

Meanwhile, deep below them, Lapis was fighting against being unfused until the very end, whilst Jasper was accepting it, she was tired of being trapped. Suddenly, Malachite's sinister eyes rolled back in a freakish display, before a loud sound resonated. A smokey material filled the area as the fusion came undone, bubbles rising to the surface in a swarm. A body lay on the floor of the ocean, a pale blue complexion and a slim body obviously meaning it was Lapis. As for Jasper, she was nowhere to be seen. Not even a trace. Lapis was still slightly conscious, her body weak and limp however. Suddenly, another 'poof' could be heard, as Lazuli retreated to her gem, her human construct taking too much of a physical toll. After all, she was a rather weak gem, in retrospect. A teardrop shaped blue gem lay in place of where her body used to be, seemingly undamaged.

I did it for Steven," she hissed, although bit her lip as her arm throbbed painfully. Her eyes were dull, she looked pathetic honestly. After all, weeks and weeks of fighting over control against Jasper took a toll on her. As it did to Jasper, as well. She didn't like Earth, nor did she think she ever would, but Steven was reason enough to have kept fighting to keep Malachite trapped. He was reason enough to... Betray Homeworld.
