Gotta go with my gut and recommend Skulls, cause I love it so much.

Lots of room to grow, a solid core group of roleplayers, and exciting pirate stuff!

What kind of personality were you going for? And did you want to make them more feral/realistic? Like, as far as "play a good" do you mean particularly pertaining to a fox/kitsune based on folklore, or more along the lines of making an interesting character?

What I meant was did you want to make them more like an actual fox, or more like a human in a fox form sorta thing that a lot of characters have going on. :3 So, wearing jewelry, using swords, etc. kind of stuff, hehe.

As far as an interesting character, you could maybe look into kitsune legends and try and base them off of some of those? The kitsune are very old, like SUPER old. The more tails a kitsune has, the longer it has lived.

Here's a quote from the wiki:

    Quote

Physically, kitsune are noted for having as many as nine tails. Generally, a greater number of tails indicates an older and more powerful fox; in fact, some folktales say that a fox will only grow additional tails after it has lived 100 years. One, five, seven, and nine tails are the most common numbers in folk stories. When a kitsune gains its ninth tail, its fur becomes white or gold.

There's also a rather silly thing that could be fun to do, kitsune are known for becoming pretty ladies:

    Quote

Foxes are particularly renowned for impersonating beautiful women. Common belief in medieval Japan was that any woman encountered alone, especially at dusk or night, could be a fox.

Foxes are wise tricksters, so you could always go with having a silly, fun loving guy who knows better but can't help taking his turn tricking some people.

When I need ideas I like to go to Springhole and generate some plots. I usually don't use them, but they get my brain thinking more abstractly, which can help me think of what-ifs and fun stuff to do to/with my character.

I know a lot of people think they can't do much with Leaders in fear of losing their spot or switching up too much to remain loyal to the character everyone has come to know/worship but I would ask yourself if there was anything you could do with your character, regardless of his position, what would you do? And then make it work in whatever way you can. I know you were saying in another thread you had like 4 ideas for 4 characters or something like that, what aspects of those characters did you like, and which of them could you integrate into this character to make him more interesting to you as a writer?

Falling in love and romance plots are always a good way to stir up muse and drama. There's not hing better than a good relationship thread imo, so pursuing that could definitely be helpful.

The worst part is the only thing you can do is give it time. Broken hearts and feelings like this WILL fade, I promise you, but it will take time, and that is the worst thing, the waiting.

Try to distract yourself, even if it doesn't completely work. Distance yourself from things that remind you of them.

Let yourself feel the pain, let yourself listen to sad music, but don't beat yourself up over it or blame yourself. Don't hurt yourself over it. You can keep going, you existed without them before and you can do it again. You have yourself, and you are the most important thing in your life, first and foremost.

A lot of people have an intense fear of certain kinds of bugs. If you're genuinely concerned about it affecting your day to day life I would suggest talking about it with someone who can help you see a therapist for exposure therapy.

Other than that it's totally understandable to have a fear of things that can hurt you, including bugs. Perhaps the best thing to do would be to think about how to calm yourself in a situation (it's a little different for everyone) and work on making sure you have the capability to do so in a situation where you come across the bugs you dislike. It's certainly impossible to avoid bugs altogether, especially with it being spring.

Here's an approach that could help you when you feel panic coming on, and might help to calm you down. Remember, many bugs have a reason to approach you, such as sweet foods you might be holding. Their goal in life isn't to hurt you, they're just trying to survive and you happen to be the big creature in their way.

I hope things get better. I used to have a bad dislike of wasps too after a bunch set up shop in the overhang above my front door. They used to chase us into the house and have me and my siblings running for cover.

I talked in the group chat, fought off Shrek, then I went outside and enjoyed the weather because oh my gosh it's so nice out around here finally. I've been waiting months for winter to end.

I also had a pun war with Opal and Alpha Kratt and a few others though I lost miserably, haha.

Here's a nice guide for coming up with plots and developing your character. It's a bit of a read but might give you a few ideas. I also like to use Springhole to try and bat around ideas for plots, even if I don't use them.

It sounds like you've hit a bit of a metaphorical dead end with your character, which is something you see a lot of on this site. I think this happens because even though we don't necessarily mean to do it, but on this site there tends to be a check list of what we want to get done with a character, and once we tick off all the boxes, we're unsure how to proceed-- especially since that checklist generally puts the character in a position where they are expected to remain, or are responsible for their actions (as an HP, having a partner, etc).

    Get a partner - check
Make friends in a clan - check
Maybe become an HP - check
    Maybe have kids - check

I don't think there is an easy answer to this, to be honest. What I tend to suggest is thinking about what you want to do, and finding a way to make that work with the character. If he were someone else, or you were playing another scene you'd like to do, what about that scene would make you excited about the plot?

Adventure? Travel? A fight scene? Romance? Ghosts? A personal epiphany that makes the character stronger? A problem or even that breaks the character down and makes them weaker? Are there plots or storylines from other mediums that you would enjoy starting out with as a base? The reason character inserts are so popular on the site is because they give people easy direction. There's nothing wrong with playing out a plot from a show or book or movie you like, and along the way you can even tweak it to fit what you want to do in the moment.

Tracking because against my better judgement I've really wanted to get back into Windclan and I would love an active family or sibling structure.

Tracking and saying I'm definitely interested in the plot. Long and intricate is what I long for hnnng.

Not pushing but is there like a ball park for the due date? I mean like, few weeks, a month, something like that? I'm just trying to decide if I want to throw my all into this guy or let my poor overflowing muse have another friend to play with in the meantime.
