You can't stop people from doing those things unless you're willing to drag them to a center, and many people aren't. It's arguably one of the best things you can do for someone if they seem like they are heading towards really hurting themselves/killing themselves, but there are of course several factors that can stop you from doing that.

That said, cutting is a symptom of something bigger than the problem itself, often emotional issues or stress/anxiety caused by irl abuse or stessors. If you have encouraged your friend to seek help from a therapist or doctor, the only other thing you can truly do is be there for them, as an accepting person. This doesn't mean you have to encourage their behavior or destructive habits, but it does mean you should be a shoulder to lean on and a non-judgmental ear if they choose to open up to you. Likely that is what you've been doing up until now, and if so I say stick with it, as long as it doesn't overstress or trigger you to do something harmful to yourself.

If the drama is something that you were a part of and you truly cannot overcome your guilt, I would open up to them about it and explain that you feel guilty about it and want to make it up to them. I understand this is something that is extremely hard to do, but bottling up stress and guilt could hurt you, and could lead to a fissure between your relationship, when having you around as someone they can rebuild trust with might be far more beneficial to you both.

Above all, remember that you do not have to be a martyr. At the end of the day, if you feel you are overstressed or pushed to a point where you cannot be a friend-therapist, there is no shame in stepping away for yourself and taking a moment/hour/evening/whatever to indulge in positive and pleasurable things for you. Their choices are ultimately their own, and you can't be there 24/7 to keep them from doing those things, nor should you be expected to. You have a life as well, and it is just as valid and important.

I feel like a lot of people are discovering themselves in high school. There is a real possibility she's gay but still coming to terms with it herself. I am probably the gayest person I know but in high school I got rabidly angry if people said I was a lesbian. Part of it was me being nervous about that sort of thing regarding my family, but I also had that whole heteronormative "i'm going to marry an amazing manly man in the mountains" kind of thing in my head.

Now, that said, there are also people who are perfectly straight and that's not going to change for them. However, she did admit she was considering her sexuality. I agree with the above in the respect that if she says she's straight, don't pressure her too much about it.

My general opinion on this sort of thing is to ask her very specifically if she would be interested in dating you. Whether or not she says yes, be prepared for the fact that if you end up together, you will be her first and therefore sort of... well... "test" at being gay. It can lead to a rough go at it, and I wish you the best.

Please don't post in here, thanks.

You'd have to be a bit creative I guess! XD He could fly on wings, or come up to the shoreline and talk to animals from the water. He could even give friends rides on his back.

I'd charge whatever you'd like for them. I personally don't like how the economy on here translates to real money in the context of commissions on the site.

    250,000 silver (+1 token) = 5 real dollars
    125,000 silver (+1/2 token) = 2.50 real dollars

So 100,000 silver is something like 2 dollars. I feel like for some of the quality of art on this site, 2 dollars is horrendously underpriced, imho, for quality artwork/writing. The trouble lies in the fact that even if you were to go up to, say, 400,000 silver, or heck, even half a million silver, that's still only 10 bucks. But most people don't have more than 500k-1 million to spend on here, so you're less likely to sell it at all if you up the silver price to something representing the in-game currency equivalent. @w@ That means the people around you lower the price, which means you lower the price, which means eventually we have amazing artists on here doing wonderful piece of work for legit, like, 2-3 dollars.

I normally don't get too worked up, but there is a trend of that going on with sites such as deviantart and it breaks my heart to see artists saying "well i worked hard on this but i will sell it for less than its true value because i need the money and know the next guy will go lower if i don't so i'd rather make a lower sale then no sale at all."

Anyway, I went on a bit of a tangent. I think for that quality of art, you shouldn't feel bad about charging whatever you want for it.

There's a lot to do on the site, where you go would mostly depend on what you want to do.

Of course, you're still free to jump into any main game group on the front board, and many of the backboards, either by making a new character who joins up, or pretending you were always there. A few of the powers have been removed (not sure how long you've been gone), including ghost/phasing, and more recently dinosaur bodies.

Not much else has changed really as far as the way the site works. You can RP in the Other roleplay if you'd like. There are adoptions going on if you want to adopt. The pet game has taken off, and you can buy pets in the shop with silver, if you go to the link at the top of the page. Some people trade and sell pets that are more uncommon in the shop, and that can all be found in the virtual pets subboards.

As far as the site itself, the only real big changes are it's under completely new management as of about 4ish months ago.

He shifted with discomfort at the silence and wondered if they thought him stupid now. Well, if no one was going to say anything, perhaps he should take a few steps to double checking what he wanted to know. Surely it was as simple as staying here a day or so and deciding if this was the kind of place he wanted to stay. If not... well, there were 3 other clans, or one at least, if what they said was true.

"Well... I'll be going then," he rumbled, then cleared his throat and moved past the group towards the camp.

A piece of glass lay on the ground, about the length of the serval, partially hidden by grass and dirt that had been kicked atop it. The shard of mirror was essentially garbage, but he had stumbled upon it and found the item fascinating. Even in the clearest pools on his journey, there had not been this opportunity to study himself.

Spring was coming, and the clouds were hurried along with the warm gusts of wind that passed in great bursts along the territory, bending the tall grasses and weeds that had gotten an early start this year. Above him, the sun became visible, and he could see it all happen looking at the ground, as if the sky were far behind him, and he had lain upon the ground and melted into another existence, with brighter colors and more vivid shapes, sharp and contrasting. The naked branches shook behind him, waving hello.

Even a maine coon wasn't as large as he was, and a smaller one at that, but compared to other cats who had approached him in recent days, it was interesting to be near another large soul. He had been told there ewre once quite a few servals in Windclan, but he had yet to see one here, besides his reflection that stared back at him, blank and unsure.

"Right here," he rumbled, rolling his dark shoulders and sitting up, letting the sunlight hit the glass fully and reflect against the trees in spots and lines. "I think some twolegs must have left it here a long time ago. It's definitely not natural."

Padme had been one of the animals that greeted him when he'd first arrived. They must have all thought him quite stupid, like a backwoods hick, with all the false information and daydreams he'd had about this place. Since then he'd been keeping his head low, trying to get a feel for the place, and he was wondering if he should stay.

The metal pelt is actually metal and therefore hard to break through-- hence why it can rust. :3

You cannot "unconjure" something. Someone else would have to conjure the item to make it go away.
