Sparrow gulped, "they're here." He began to tremble slightly and back up. "Back to the main tunel!" he hissed urgently before hightailing it back to the cave as fast as his paws would carry him.

Silver smiled, "great! The river is just up ahead." She happily padded toward a glittering blue lake surrounded by small pebbles. "Here it is," she exclaimed, "there's more fish than I could ever count!" A few small trout peeked out from under a rock as she spoke. "Do you know how to swim?" she asked, "I'd rather not have to drag you out by your tail."

Storm leapt over his housefolk's fence and ran after Caroline. "Wait!" he yowled, "where are you going? I want to go!" His blue eyes were wide, curious and as always, sparkling mischievously. "You're not going to eat another rotten snake, are you?"

Sparrow skidded to a halt in front of Tigerflame. He leapt around him and was running out of the tunnel when he heard the twolegs clomping around outside. The were making a great deal of noise with strange beeps and a great deal of chatter. Sparrow backed away and turned around to face Tigerflame. "Are you with anyone?" he asked hurriedly.
-
Storm smiled, "awesome!" he meowed. "Oh, sorry. Awesome," he whispered. He wasn't at all fazed by Caroline's hissing. He hurriedly padded after the other cat with Caroline, trying to keep quiet.
-
Storm chirped a quick hello to Dew before running after the tom, all thoughts of stealth gone. He really wanted to see what the loner was up to. "Hey mister loner, what are you doing? he called, "why did you come to this nasty place?" The rotting piles of Ancestor knows what where sticking to his paw-pads, but he wasn't going to turn back until he knew what the loner was doing.
-
Storm tilted his head to one side, "on a whim? I once ate a rat on a whim while balancing on a fence, but I never wanted to go to some smelly dump on a whim, or ever." He smiled cheekily, and noticed Racetrack's concern, "hey, what are you scared of? Giant cat-eating garbage monsters? Giant rats? Giant, tiny poisonous flies?" The last one made little sense, but when did Storm's jokes do. All of them served to either mock, infuriate, or confuse whoever listened.

Digger ran forward and jumped into the water, getting everyone around him sprayed with water. "This is awesome!" he barked enthusiastically, "hey Archer! I didn't know cats liked to be wet! Speaking of cats..." Water erupted around him as he pranced through the shallow waters to Lithium. "Hey Lithium!" he barked excitedly and shook his fur.
-
Digger peeked out of one of the tunnels and looked at Merii, "hello! I've never seen you before. Are you new? New members are great!" His tail swished from side to side as he sniffed the newcomer. "What's your name? I'm Digger the daring dog! I just made that up right now," he barked before realizing he was droning on.
-
((Sounds great)) Storm smiled, "what's your name, I've just been calling you mister small loner in my head. I'm Storm the Super uh. . . Spectacular Super-cat." He spotted Caroline and bounced in the air, "hey Caroline! Hello new cat Dew!"
-
Storm followed Caroline's gaze and spotted the shooting star. "Wow, that looks awesome. Almost as awesome as pie," he murmured, not missing the chance at a joke. Something caught his eye and he looked over to see flames quickly erupting in the garbage. "Fire!" he screeched.

What about Dithium (Digger and Lithium)?

Digger was idly walking around the desert when he heard the sound of a scuffle and hurriedly ran over. If it was some sort of fight, he would help them or go get help. He skidded to a halt when he saw Merii, and a giant beetle he couldn't name holding down a cat who looked utterly terrible. "Hey, what's going on?" he barked apprehensively, "who is that and what are you doing to her?" He wasn't trying to be threatening--he probably would never be even if he tried-- just concerned.
-
Digger padded over to Shax, trying not to show that he was uncomfortable near her. It wasn't anything against her, the shrunken heads and bones were just too . . . creepy. "Congratulations Shax!" he barked, trying to seem cheerful, "there's been so much change lately. With Merii joining, and Archer being promoted and now you!"

Here it is: (321 words)
Comet prowled down the broken sidewalk, his sister sage by his side. Ahead, flatpaw machines were screeching and spitting out noxious fumes. Their flatpaw drivers grimly, if not angrily, drove by. Dogs barked, barely held back by chains, and crows cawed while flapping around overturned trashcans. This was, as Comet saw, the dirtiest part of the city where the flatpaw corruption is centered before spreading out. It was also where most of the food is.
Beside him, Sage snorted as she passed an aging flatpaw who smelled strongly of alcohol, "these things have no dignity," she muttered. Comet nodded, "they're one of the most powerful creatures, but they can be the dumbest things ever. Just be glad I was able to get your sorry butt a nest away from this place and around more . . . civilized areas." Sage shook out her gray fur and narrowed her yellow eyes at a scrappy dog, "a dumpster would make a better nest than anywhere here." "True words."
"Ah, there's something," Sage whispered, pointing at a few crows pecking at a discarded rotisserie chicken. Comet watched as his sister stalked forward, impressed, though he's never admit it. His idea of hunting involved fighting off other cats over a scrap of meat, he'd never mastered the stalking and sneaking around like Sage did. Feathers flapped, snapping Comet back into reality, as Sage leapt into the air, bringing one down easily and killing it with a swift bite to the neck.
Comet grunted a congrats and walked over, picking up the rotisserie chicken in his teeth. “What that’s it?” asked Sage, “no thank you, no gee Sage great catch?” Comet gave her an incredulous look and she sighed, “fine. Let’s eat at the den. I don’t want to get this crap any dirtier than it already is.” “Yeah,” agreed Comet through a mouthful of chicken meat before padding off in the direction of their den.

Digger smiled goofily and dipped his paw in the different paint colours. "Like this?" he asked, trying to paint in a way that didn't look like an utter disaster. He was failing. Painting what took the shape of . . . whatever that is with a rainbow paw.
-
Digger gave a small happy jump and looked over at Reverse. "Oh come on! It'll be fun," he barked and went over to the quivering cat. He gave him a soft, slobbery lick on the nose and tilted his fluffy head to one side with one hear perked up ever so slightly.

Silver stretched out her paws gracefully and regarded the kittypet with calm curiosity. "Well, whoever might you be?" she politely asked the ex-kittypet. She tilted her head to one side and flicked her light grey tail, analyzing the scene around her. There were a fair number of cats around her, all looking at the miserable lump of fur in the box. She looked relatively well-groomed, but incredibly distraught. Definitely a kittypet, she decided hmm... maybe she's lost. No, she'd be searching if that was the case. Maybe. I don't know how this cat's brain work. The other cats were of no concern at the moment, she'd figure them out later.
-
Silver softly padded down an alleyway, careful not to step on any of the rubbish laying around her. Hmm, same old, same old, she thought, feeling the tiring feelings of boredom begin to take hold, there's that old hag, she's been here for cycles. Mako, with that giant scar, also has been here for a while. Aargh! Where is a new cat when you need one? She of course had some friends, Dusty and Willow, but today was her loner day. She was to walk around, figure sh*t out, and HOPEFULLY find someone interesting to befriend. SHe groaned and turned a corner when she spotted the kit and Raphael. She'd seen Raphael around before, but usually ignored him. He seemed to her as unsophisticated and burly as a dog. Now the kit. . . she'd never seen him before, and he seemed concerned. Might as well help and do something useful. She padded over to them with her white tail lifted flicking slightly in greeting. "Hello, my name is Silver," she meowed politely.
