Chulak ascended the staircase and looked around. Unfortunately the absence of dark places in the well lit hallway he found himself in made tracking the albino girl difficult for Chulak. He sighed to himself and walked to the first door he could find and knocked on it loudly.

After a few moments a stout man with a round stomach stumbled to the door and opened it. "Whaddya want?" he managed to mumble though his speech was slurred. Chulak could already tell that he wasn't going to find what he was looking for with this man and sighed. "Sorry sir. I must have knocked into the wrong room. I'll leave you to your doings now." With that the man suddenly slammed the door in Chulak's face and he found himself with a predicament. There was seven more doors in the hallway and only one of him to knock on them all.

Chulak decided that the best course of action was just to check every room on the hall. The second door was answered by a scantily clad young woman who looked him up and down and smirked at him. "Well hey there sugar. Now what would a bit strong man like you want with little ole me?" She asked him seductively. Chulak tried not to get distracted by the half naked woman in front of him and focus on the task at hand. "Sorry to bother you miss. Maybe another time." He replied to her as he took her hand and brought it to his lips. "Now I'm afraid I must be off." He confessed to her as he was off to another door.

'Third time's the charm' Chulak thought to himself as he went to knock on the third door. He wrapped his knuckles on the door three times and it opened slightly. Confused as to why a person would leave their door unlocked unless they were severely careless Chulak decided to call into the room. "Excuse me? Anybody in there? I believe you might be able to answer some questions for me about soulstones." Chulak stayed outside the door awaiting a response not wanting to invade the inhabitants privacy.

Chulak lurched forward and stumbled as he was pulled into the albino girls room. He looked around at the colourful decor and deduced that it must have been an expensive room. After she went silent was his cue to speak. "Greetings ma'am! My name is Chulak, son of Treshan Grand Overseer of the village in the north mountains. Now, about why you should tell me everything you know about soulstones and how to control them is because of this." Chulak held up the Pure Stone in it's small glass containment at the end of a small chain and frowned.

"As you can see I have one myself, and he refuses to leave me until I remove his containment. So unless you want the entire desert buried under a foot of snow I suggest you release me and start talking." Chulak demanded as he stared into the young girls eyes. It was easier for him than she may have expected because of seeing Frosmoth's so frequently since he got out of the desert. His eyes were like two pools of swirling rave while hers were simply red.

Chulak stepped around his host and looked around the room. He put the stone back on his wrist like a bracelet and turned around. "Frosmoth God of the Winter. He says is his name. Judging by the skeptical look on your face you don't believe me. It's hard to believe yes but I assure you my words hold no falseness or ill intent. Two eyes, much like yours but filled with a fire that would challenge the heat of the Sun in terms of intensity. They follow me everywhere I go, in every shadow and dark patch. They led me straight here to you and I can't help but feel like it's because you either have a soulstone or know a lot about them. So which is it?" Chulak concluded his short speech and folded his arms across his chest. He realised how he may have looked like he was trying to intimidate the girl so he also flashed a warm smile to show his sincerity to her.

Chulak smiled widely at his compatriot and took both of her hands in his. "Oh young miss I will do any favour you want, anything you desire. My skills include speaking and charming people. I have also developed survival skills necessary for living in the mountains. I also learned to hunt at a young age but my prey mostly consisted of smaller animals."

Chulak finished and took a step back from the small albino girl and looked her up and down. "Wait, an assassin? Please don't tell me you're going to ask for assistance with a murder. I don't believe in the senseless loss of human life, that's why I came here to ask you about the stone. I don't want to learn how to use it. The problem is that I can't not use it. It's berserk." Chulak looked at her pleadingly and hoped that his heartfelt plea would be enough to make him seem incapable of such a thing as murder.

Chulak looked around the room and his eyes crossed with a pair of glowing red spheres floating in a shadow much too dark to exist in the middle of the day. Chulak closed his eyes and when he opened them, the eyes were directly in his face. Again he saw the maniacal look in the gaze of Frosmoth. "You can't control the weather" being the only words he heard.

When Chulak blinked again he realised that he had simply been staring into space and hadn't heard a single word uttered by the other inhabitant of the inn room. "I'm sorry young miss could you please repeat yourself. I was distracted by your other guest."

Man, I wish I could post more often, but I dont have a working computer and this website is so finicky on my phone that it's almost impossible to use. *Sighs* I envy people who get to type posts with a keyboard.
