Moonbeam gently ushered her children to the meeting with Rainstrike and Marbelcake on her tail. They huddled in a group and watched silently to hear what Blazestar had to say.

Moon fought back a scowl at the sudden negative feeling in her gut. She didn't know where it came from and it didn't matter as her daughter tugged on her dress again. Moon turned her cornflower blue eyes to gaze into her daughter's matching eyes. Feather tugged nervously on her (French) braided white hair, "Is there going to be lots of people Mommy?" Moon looked away from Feather before tucking a strand of her own white hair (that she left to hang freely) behind her ear, "I don't know. We can go sit down if you want." Feather nodded and took her mother's hand as the two walked towards a table and sat down.

Moonbeam gave the corgi a glance out of the corner of her eye. The medicine cat hadn't seen the dog before but the movements he made caught her attention. Mainly because of how energetic they were.

Moon had taken out a children's book for Feather to read which the eight year old read aloud to her when Kate looked over. Feather seemed to be able to feel the stare as her eyes darted up nervously before quickly looking away. Moon gently rubbed her daughter's arm to comfort her while looking up to see Kate holding her abdomen. The white-haired woman didn't know why but she smiled back and briefly held her own abdomen in a similar way before bringing her attention back to Feather.

"Stormclan territory. Calm down." A petite she-cat walked calmly into view while staring at Bently through narrowed eyes, "I'm Moonbeam, the medic here, who are you?" Moonbeam didn't bother to ask what the corgi was doing here since he clearly had no clue. Her voice was much sharper and in control than Pandora's which in turn made her slightly more intimidating. Moonbeam padded forward more to get closer to the dog as she sniffed his muzzle, "You smell like herbs but it doesn't look like your wounds were tended to." The she-cat stepped back after making the observation.

Moonbeam's face twisted with confusion and surprise before pushing the bag back towards the corgi, "Don't be ridiculous. We'll take you in for no or minimal charge. That and I need to tend to your muzzle before the nicks get infected so we'll need to head back to camp anyways. While you have herbs, I highly doubt you have any bandages or cobwebs." The medic flicked her tail to signal the corgi to follow her as she started to walk out of the clearing.

The minute the medic entered the camp two young cats rushed over to her with their uncle trailing behind. Rainstrike stopped a few feet away as Owlkit and Featherkit rushed to their mother, "Sorry sis, they wouldn't listen." Moonbeam hummed and nuzzled both of her children before using her muzzle to shoo them away. Owlkit rushed to play with his uncle while Featherkit continued to trail her mother. Moonbeam paused and allowed the kitten to climb onto her back before continuing to the medic den for bandages and herbs.

Raindude: What can I say? My mate is truly lovely.

    MoonMom: Well, isn't that sweet.

Raindude: @MoonMom You don't need to be salty with me just because you're mate was sh...crappy.

MoonMom: @Raindude Don't you dare start, talk like that will only ruin this chat.

Raindude: @MoonMom HE WASN'T GOOD FOR YOU, MOON, I TRIED TO WARN YOU BUT NOOOO YOU DIDN'T LISTEN! NO ONE LISTENS TO THE BRO, BUT I WAS RIGHT!

MoonMom: @Raindude Cut the dramatics @Saltmom Do you have anymore pictures?

    Raindude: *pouts*

    *Response is not required

Moonbeam sighed quietly as she walked down an old path with her brother trotting by her side. Rainstrike was watching her expectantly as Moon had told him that they needed to talk about something. They paused at a secluded clearing, darted up a tree, and settled on a thick branch before Rainstrike cleared his throat, "So...what did you need to talk about?" The medic stiffened and swung her tail for a few moments before speaking in a low and somber voice, "I...need you to do something for me." Rainstrike shifted with a slight frown, "What? Ya'...need me to kill someone, heh he..." The chuckle was forced and the joke fell flat as Moonbeam gave her brother a cutting glare, "I'm...expecting another litter." Rain's face twisted with discomfort and concern, "How far along are you?" Moon looked away from her brother, "About a moon, maybe more." The tom took in a sharp breath and hesitated before pressing forward, "Do you need help taking care of them?" Moonbeam said nothing and simply nodded her head, "And if it ever comes to it...would you take them in if I can't?" Rainstrike sucked in a quick breath, "I...of course, are you giving them to me?" Moonbeam shifted in discomfort before nodding, "These kits they...they deserve to have two parents. I...he was still around for long enough that I can't give up Featherkit or Owlkit. They know I'm their mother and I don't want to let them go. These kits on the other hand could have a chance to have what we couldn't have. What my older children can no longer have at the moment." A shudder ran down the tom's spine, "I'll talk to Marbie. We were planning on adopting but didn't agree on anything. Are you going to have them in secret so Owl and Feather don't know?" Moon nodded and glanced down at her abdomen. It seemed that she would appear much thinner this pregnancy as she was already showing around this time during her first pregnancy. Moonbeam lifted her head and looked at her brother when he gently bumped her shoulder with his head. Rain gave his sister a friendly smile, "I'll take care of them the best I can." Moon smiled with teary eyes, "I know...thank you."

Moonbeam gave Blazestar and Arthur a tired smirk, "Another of your children, I presume." The medic's own daughter, Featherkit, watched the older tom wearily from the safety of her mother's side. The tom was unfamiliar to the medic and her family as their bad luck gave them enough to deal with.

Moonbeam carefully sniffed and prodded at the corgi sitting in front of her. It had been a few days since Bentley had joined the clan and, like everyone else, he was receiving an exam to check on old injuries or health problems. The medic, finding nothing externally wrong, stepped back. Moon walked away and was putting away her supplies while talking to Bentley over her shoulder, "Do you have any previous health problems I should know about? Physical or mental issues, trauma, things like that." Moonbeam's daughter, Featherkit, sat at the side watching the exam play out with wide eyes. Featherkit was silent but still held a curious gleam to her eyes as if she wanted to ask a question too.
