[fancypost bgcolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px;][justify][font=verdana][size=8]"oh, right." a cold breeze caused the woman to shiver, absentmindedly she stepped closer to the man.//totally subtle
-

[fancypost bgcolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px;][justify][font=verdana][size=8]"should we be heading back?" though her pelt was quite sleek, it was definitely not insulated enough for the light chill of winter. -

[fancypost bgcolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px;][justify][font=verdana][size=8]she shared the hate of winter, or anything frigid. "the cold ruins everything." the woman muttered, eyes drooping wearily, starting to turn back towards the heart of their lands. -

[fancypost bgcolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px;][justify][font=verdana][size=8]it seemed as if they were waiting for her move, well, the woman hadn't been in the group long enough to truly know the nature of the killer. "go ahead, i am sure you have more scores to settle with him than i do, as i have only recently joined." though it would have been fun to torture the male, perhaps it would be even more amusing watching the others have their fun. and so, meli took a step back, clearing the way for those who wished to make him pay. -

[fancypost bgcolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px;][justify][font=verdana][size=8]an unfamiliar scent caught the woman's nostrils, and she was swift to make it to the border in order to investigate. her lavender orbs were met by an equally unfamiliar face. it seemed as if the cub had beat her to it, how annoying. "greetings, dear. name and business?" the amazonian had her manners, but her silky tone hinted a colder note. the child had definitely spoiled her mood. -

[fancypost bgcolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px;][justify][font=verdana][size=8]an enemy on their lands, meli was quick to appear on the scene. a small crowd had gathered, and it was a miracle that the man had not yet been attacked. with a small frown adorning her features, the woman sat back to watch the situation unfold. -

[fancypost bgcolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px;][justify][font=verdana][size=8]a child causing trouble? how unexpected. children were little beasts, and meli found it hard to imagine that soon she'd be a mother herself. of course, she did not show it just yet, it was way too early in the pregnancy. a sour snarl on her maw, the siren approached. "so, what's going on here?" she mewed simply, eyes wandering from the kitten to it's attackers. -

[fancypost bgcolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px;][justify][font=verdana][size=8]another joiner, eh? "welcome to bloodclan. i am melisande eternity, it is a pleasure to meet you." she mewed, lavender orbs softening. she seemed friendly enough, though her physical features were quite unnatural. -

[fancypost bgcolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px;][justify][font=verdana][size=8]an enemy child? well, not as impressive as some catches, but hopefully it would have parents in the clan. "well done." the princess murmured, taking a seat a few feet away, waiting for others to approach. -

[fancypost bgcolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px;][justify][font=verdana][size=8]well, his spying career seemed to have ended quite quickly. he seemed old enough to survive a torture, so perhaps they'd knock him around a bit. "sending little children to spy?" a chuckle escaped the woman's silken maw, how pitiful. had they truly become that desperate, or had the child come on it's own accord? -
[fancypost bgcolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px;][justify][font=verdana][size=8]
judging by the actions of the child, it did not seem as if the kitten had actually been sent to spy, and instead had decided to try and be heroic. how foolish. an untrained child would not last very long without being discovered, especially when their group was on edge. but, he was young and clueless, like most children. it was one of the traits that made her quite repulsed by youth. the fiery boy, in meli's eyes, was likely in loads of trouble. one did not simply cross over bloodclan's borders and spy then get away with it.at rei's words, the feline raised a nonexistent eyebrow. it seemed as if the boy had some sort of history with rei, but the woman was unsure of what. perhaps he had previously been in the covenant, or they had shared another group. she decided not to question it, seeing as they had more important matters than one's past allegiances. if a child could access their borders, a more skilled creature could likely successfully attempt the same feat. perhaps it was a concern that needed to be addressed later on.
focusing on their current situation, the first tier pondered possible fates for the youth. maybe they'd torture him, or possibly keep him as a prisoner of war. perhaps he had parents back in the covenant, and if so he'd serve as a potentially useful asset. maybe if he cooperated, they could try and squeeze a few secrets out of him. not that she believed a kitten would know of anything strategically important. "so, what are we to do with it?" her eyes wandered over to techno, who seemed to be handling the scene.

it was strangely nice, despite the cold nagging at her pelt. she inched closer once again at the sight of his shivering, this time fully conscience of it. melisande had never been one for true romance, despite her somewhat flirtatious nature at times. but it was something about the man, perhaps the calm aura he radiated, that intrigued the temptress. "thank you." she murmured as they approached camp, a smile decorating her silky maw.
