    [ DETAILED APPEARANCE ] xander is a tall teenage boy standing to about 6'7. He has defined muscle from years of practicing MMA with his dad and cousins, bringing his appearance to be a great setback to his personality. Most think, the guy wearing muscle shirts and shorts all day would be ready to strile at anyone. He has clear blue eyes that shift from grey to green on occasion to the point where he doesn't even bother to look and see what color they are, and his reactions to people pointing it out have gone bland.


    Xander has a choppy, dirty blonde cut to where its always pushed from consistently moving his fingers through it when he gets nervous. When flattened it tends to get in his eyes though and is a bit longer in the back. The roots are blonde, but halfeay through the strands they become a natural dark brown which he can stare at in the mirror for hours, seeing which color blends into where.


    His skin is very pale from his lack of leaving the house. He looks almost sickly when those lay eyes on him, but recently before coming to the school his dad had been forcing him out of the house, so now most of that color has returned.

    [ PERSONALITY ] xander is a very shy, anxiety-ridden person. his emotional and mental distress put a stop to almost everything for him, preventing him from doing many social activities. Normal socializing can be a difficult task for him and on a good day, can have at least one conversation without constant thought he's annoying the person or boring them.


    Only making things worse, his schizophrenia puts everything he does at risk. Was he really called from that person across the room? Did his mom actually say hi to him when he woke up? Were there actual people outside in the yard that afternoon? It drives him insane wondering if anything he sees or hears or feels is real, and is in almost constant self doubt.


    Aside from that though, beyond his disabilities, Xander is a really faithful person when he knows for sure that he can trust someone. Of course he's usually a bit hesitant in sharing certain things from past occurances, but genuinely enjoys trusted company and can be quite a talkative person if you get around to him.


    [ HISTORY ] from a young age, Xander wasn't always the most social kid in school. His mom had passed when he was younger, and his older brother committed suicide when Xander was only twelve. But he liked doing things differently, and didnt fit into the social stereotypes for a boy. This caused him to be bullied, where rocks would be thrown at him as he walked home, and constantly beat up by his peers.


    Thats when his father began teaching him self defense in the garage. First starting with simple imaginary opponents, moving onto punching bags, than finally one-on-one sparring. This was when he started realizing how aggressive his dad could be, and it soon turned into full on abuse to where he was forced into the garage, and outright beaten to the point where he couldn't get up and left alone. Thats when his schizophrenia began. Almost thirteen, his father drove him to a fighting match and when refusing to go inside, his father had hit him so hard across the head he was out into a coma for a week.


    After filing charges, and going to court for two years, Xander finally got a restraining order out down, but not wanting to be emancipated and left out from his only close family, he was placed into the school and was told he would 'get better' by the time he left.

    dani is extremely thin because of her anorexia. She's usually seen wearing oversized jackets and heavy layers to distract people from all the space beneath it. Her ribcage shows and you can feel every disk of her spine, and her hip bones jut out. Being at 93 pounds and 5'7, she's very much underweight. Her arms and legs have some muscle though, from her small periods of time where she works out


    Her hair goes down just below the breast, and is a light blonde. The tips have a faded blue from when she stole food coloring from the kitchen and dyed her hair.with it. Her eye's are a dull green, and sunken into her face. Her skin is an almost ghostly pale if it weren't for her therapy sessions taking outside recently.

    [ PERSONALITY ] Dani, right off the bat of meeting her, will express her clear distaste for almost everyone and everything. Being stuck here since turning fourteen, she had been in the darkroom and given enough punishments to give her a clear perspective that she was not going to get better no matter what. Her sarcasm and complete, utter dislike towards people drive others away from interacting with her unless its just to mess with her head. Those that had been there when she first came in quickly found out about her attempts in running away from home countless times, even going so far as to try at prostitution until caught from after running away again.


    It quickly gave Dani the image of being a desperate, 'sex crazed' girl. Countless times she had been caught hoarding pills in her pillow cases, under her matress, between pages to her books. She still does so, though not as often. Dani does want to get better, but old habits die hard. When she isn't drugging herself up on multiple pills, she steals lighters from the kitchen and sometimes breaks into storage closets to dig up matches. Usually she would just go into the field and burn random things but after an accidental fire in her classroom in the middle of her second year, it had suddenly become harder to find a supply of even a half empty case of matches.


    Dani gets very annoyed, very easily. When someone pesters her, or won't do something she had even politely asked to do, you can bet big money that she won't forget it. She will hold grudges for as long as she can or until the other person makes up for what she believed they did wrong somehow. It's usually habits like that, in which also help in giving off a terribly negative vibe that makes others avoid her.


    [ HISTORY ] from a young age Dani always felt ignored. She was the youngest of five kids, and her older siblings were always much more loved and achieved more than she ever could. Her sister was an award winning artist, her oldest brother was making his career as a broadway actor. Her two older twin brothers were successful in their orchestra career, and so her parents had given up on trying to discover what kind of wonderful talent she obtained when they found out she had gotten a hold of some drugs in school.


    She tried making it up to them, but all attempts failed and as her school life began to hit lower and lower, so did her relationship with all of her family members. She constantly left home only to be picked up a few miles away by her siblings and punished by her parents. She stopped eating in hopes of getting their attention and care, and continued to worsen her condition with drug addiction. Finally, she had successfully ran away. For about a week, her sister finding her in a truckstop with an older man next to her and a few hundred dollars in her hand.


    Her parents had the last straw at that, and now eager to rid Dani from their home, applied her to whatever place would accept her no matter what the cost. Only days later she was dumped at school, living here for the next four years of her life.

    hey guys! so i have wau too much time on my hands and not enough threads to take up my time c'x i only have a minimum of rules and preferences and maybe we can hash out some ideas!


    -- i like romance. who doesnt? but i dont want it taking up the whole plotline and be the center of attention. friendships and platonic love is fine just the same as well

    appearance: Brendan is tall, and lean. his body is lined with dense muscle, giving him the appearance that he's just someone who's thin and given a sort of weak appearance. his skin nicely tanned, caramel color which he can thank his mothers genes for. his face is sharply framed with a jawline sharper than a knife and noticeable cheek bones. he has one dimple on his right cheek.
    his hair is extremely curly, and cut shirt to stay out of his face. its fluffy, and bouncy which only brings his look of an innocent, clueless kid further. when his hair gets grown out though, it reaches down into his eyes and constantly annoys him.
    speaking of his eyes, which are probably his most favorite feature; a light hazel. they're almost a light brown, but with an orange type of tinge that he loves and could stare at in the mirror for hours.
    personality: during his younger years, brendan was really shy. he didnt like talking much and his family had just taken it as a phase. he wasn't scared of his own shadow, but he was slightly neurotic where certain things worried him too much that most people wouldnt think twice about doing.
    it was a major set back in his development. not many friends because of his tendency to just not talk to anybody.
    as he grew older, and realized that the activities he had done before to keep himself occupies (reading, walking, helping his father with some odd jobs) were just not as fun anymore. he began to do himself a favor, going outside of the house and making acquaintances into friends, discovering his acute sense of humor and witty responses. he's still a bit neurotic though, always double checking dangers but just not as much, now with how much confidence he's gained in himself.
