[align=center][fancypost borderwidth=0px; text-align: justify;]Differentkit had been thinking a lot lately. A normally dangerous task for the young kitten, but he couldn't seem to keep his thoughts from wandering. And where did they go? Normally to the same two subjects: family, and growing up.

Cairparavel had adopted him. He actually had a family now. The child didn't think his first one had counted; he hadn't been close to them, anyways. Cair was his mama now, and that thought made him happy.

...But that happiness was occasionally darkened by a more pressing thought. Ever since Reflectingpaw had turned six months old, he'd been off and on thinking about how quickly time was passing. Shoot, he'd been in TidalClan a whole month already! And while he was eager to get older — they'd have to let him participate in raids then! — it was also...slightly scary.

He knew how most adults acted, all stiff and mature. Differentkit didn't want to be like that...but did he have to, in order to grow up? Or was it optional? He sure hoped so, because he still wanted to have lots of fun.

This was the child's biggest concern at the moment, one that he constantly pondered at the rare times that he was completely alone. Like now, for instance, as he aimlessly trekked along the shoreline of TidalClan's beach, the cool ocean waves occasionally washing in far enough to soak his tiny, black paws.

[align=center][fancypost borderwidth=0px; text-align: justify;]He was a coward. The moment things changed, he ran away.

The ordinary brown tabby slunk into the edges of the Ivory Tower's border, his chest rising and falling irregularly. He was still slightly out of breath, from spending all of last night walking. Why, one might ask? Because he had just left his previous home of the Tribe of Burning Eclipse. He just...up and left. In the middle of the night.

On the inside, he was wracked with guilt. He tried reasoning with himself by saying, hey, he'd only lived there for about a week, maybe a little bit more...he doubted anyone would notice his absence.

But for some reason it felt...worse than that. Like he had left a life long home. In fact, he would go so far as to compare the experience with when his sister had been killed. He felt as it a very important part of his being had been left behind, and that it was all his fault. Unaware that he was the reincarnation of former EclipseTriber Stargazer, Yoichi wasn't sure why he felt so attached to the tribe.

Regardless of his guilt, he wasn't going back. At least...not straight away. He had decided to try somewhere else; that somewhere else happened to be the Ivory Tower.

He had decided upon another change too, not just a shift in alliance; a name change. Yoichi had had lots of time to think on the way over, and he'd finally come up with one that he was rather fond of.

He was Tokyofantasy now. The name echoed through the feline's head as he slowed to a halt, his wide, green eyes glancing apprehensively at his surroundings.

[align=center][fancypost borderwidth=0px; text-align: justify;]Butterfly froze for a split-second at the arrivals of Jocelyn and Exodus, and then immediately rushed to clumsily dip her head to the two. Once Malak appeared, however, she was too focused on the warden to do the same to everyone else as they slowly gathered around.

The crowd only made her anxiety worse, but she managed to ignore the several sets of eyes on her just long enough to process Malak's words and respond, her heart beating as quickly as...well, as a butterfly's wings, "...Yes. I do." For someone as nervous and uncertain as Butterfly, the tone she spoke in right then was surprisingly steady. She was relieved her apprehension didn't bleed into her voice; the last thing she wanted was for anyone to think she doubted her decision.

[align=center][fancypost borderwidth=0px; text-align: justify;]The kitten had to withhold an excited giggle when he was chosen to go first. While he managed that much, it was still obvious that he was bubbling over with glee on the inside.

Without any hesitation, he answered quickly, "Dare!"

[align=center][fancypost borderwidth=0px; text-align: justify;]"Shoot me." Differentkit of course knew what Ladyliberty meant by that, but he couldn't help but think about how strange that phrase sounded. He was fairly certain no one actually wished to be shot at. Shrugging, the kitten hopped forward and watched Madrigal eagerly, wondering what it was she had to ask.

[align=center][fancypost borderwidth=0px; text-align: justify;]Oooh, a prank war. Too bad the Ivory Tower wasn't participating, then Differentkit could have gotten even more revenge for all the times they'd pranked TidalClan. Oh well -- the kitten was excited about this, regardless. Jinora said they could participate, so the child made a mental note to try and do so. He didn't have any questions for the ColouredClanner, so he was quiet as he approached.

[align=center][fancypost borderwidth=0px; text-align: justify;]Differentkit wrinkled his nose at the familiar scent of the Exiles. Tuning in to everyone's talking, he gleaned why everyone was upset: Kagome was missing. Concern slid over the kitten's face as he toddled over, gazing up at everyone with wide, electric green eyes. "We'll get her back, right?"

[align=center][fancypost borderwidth=0px; text-align: justify;]Butterfly only knew Alexandra from seeing her once or twice, but the fact that she had seemingly vanished into thin air was troubling indeed. The doe hoped she was alright, but with the scent of blood mixing with the normal, everyday ones of the kingdom, she couldn't help but let her thoughts wander towards darker possibilities.

Dark brown eyes wide, the female tentatively stepped forward. "I...I c-can help l-look too."

    [align=center][fancypost borderwidth=0px; text-align: justify;]yOICHI YES

The feline nearly jumped out of his skin at the sudden, deafening shout. Green eyes wide, he quickly whirled around to face the child who had screamed. Still put off by the volume of the other's voice, it took him a few moments to process what Crowncub had actually said.

"U-um, I -- I am Y...Tokyofantasy," the former EclipseTriber answered, having to cut himself off when he almost introduced himself by his former name. It would take some getting used to, having a new one, he was sure.

Gradually calming down, Tokyofantasy fixed a smile over his lips, watching as several members of the Ivory Tower gathered around. "I'm sorry for trespassing, I was just...looking to join."

[align=center][fancypost borderwidth=0px; text-align: justify;]The child froze, shock spreading over his face, at the sudden voice (one he was about ninety-nine percent certain wasn't his) in his head. He quickly relaxed, a grin returning to his face, when he spotted Reflectingpaw nearby though. A mischievous glint in his bright green eyes, Differentkit nodded hurriedly.

"Yes!" he chirped excitedly. Then he had an idea. "Heyyy -- we should try to do something together!"

[align=center][fancypost borderwidth=0px; text-align: justify;]"Hi, everyone!" Differentkit chirped happily as he skipped over. His electric green gaze swept over everyone gathered; he recognized all but one of the individuals present. So did he really need to offer his name?

Eh, he didn't have anything else to say, he supposed. "I'm Differentkit, for anyone who doesn't know!"

[align=center][fancypost borderwidth=0px; text-align: justify;]"Ooohhh, oh, oh! I want toooo!" In a flash of charcoal black fur, the little munchkin kitten hastily dashed over. As he skidded to a halt, he ended up losing his balance and almost falling flat on his face, yet the grin painted over his lips refused to waver. They were going to get to fly? How awesome was that?!

[align=center][fancypost borderwidth=0px; text-align: justify;]Differentkit inhaled deeply and crouched down, ready to leap up onto Sammy, but then suddenly rose, a pout forming on his lips when Gwen beat him to it.

His grin quickly returned to his face when she offered him a seat though. Beaming at her, he scrambled up onto the dragon and situated himself between Gwen and Sammy's head.

[align=center][fancypost borderwidth=0px; text-align: justify;]"Umm, I don't have anything to say...I think..." Differentkit half-stated, half-mumbled absentmindedly, his attention too busy drifting over to Cake. A food god? The kitten made a mental note to talk to him later (though whether he'd actually remember remained to be seen)...he sounded awesome.

[align=center][fancypost borderwidth=0px; text-align: justify;]It was only when the munchkin kit happened upon the blood at the edge of TidalClan's territory that he realized...he hadn't seen Ladyliberty yet that day, had he? That was odd, considering he normally spotted her around. Well...it appeared he had his answer to where she had gone now.

"Do you know what happened to her?" Differentkit asked quietly, glancing between the spatters of blood and Keith.

[align=center][fancypost borderwidth=0px; text-align: justify;]"Heyyy, I think I remember you!" Differentkit chirped, drawing up beside Gwen and Cainsmark with a broad smile plastered over his mouth. The guy was from the...Ach-a...um, that place! The one with the hard to pronounce name.

"Why are you here?" he asked curiously, and perhaps a bit more bluntly than he should have.

[align=center][fancypost borderwidth=0px; text-align: justify;]Normally, the child would have just tried to sneak after his clanmates and join the raid, regardless of whether he was allowed or not. But this time...this time, he actually paused and thought about it. All the thinking of growing up and the feeling that others would be expecting him to mature a bit by now (he was four months old now, after all!) maybe a bit more...conscious of his actions. He felt like he was suddenly aware of how he would look if he just blindly barreled into the battle; like a naive and immature child.

Chewing his lip nervously, Differentkit, sitting in the general area watching his clanmates rush off, absentmindedly conjured up a cookie and slowly munched on it in an attempt to distract himself from the nagging feeling in the back of his mind that he had to prove he was old enough to know better than to follow his clan to the raid when he was so inexperienced. But half of him was still eager and excited to witness the adrenaline rush he had heard battles brought.

So the little munchkin kitten sat there, electric green eyes wide as he chewed his cookie, his mind going back and forth between wanting to follow and wanting to remain behind.
