'But then...' she thought to herself. 'What if it's prey?' Before attacking, she decided to ask. A low growl ripped through her throaght and her eyes narrowed as she asked, "Who are you?"

Hearing no answer, SpottedShadow growled even louder. The birds flew out of the trees from her ground shaking snarl. "Who are you..." she said more firmly.

DawnWish didn't want to make her feel upset so she added quickly, "But I'll be fine though,"

A sorrowful look came over her face. "I'm sorry I woke you up," she mewed. "I think you should go back to sleep. You need it more than me."

Dawnwish watched the two and smiled.

Her eyes narrowed into slits. "Then why were you watching us from behind that bush? And WHy didn't you just come out after you made a noise?" she sounded more relaxed, but she still retained her position.

DawnWish smiled and looked at the moon.

SpottedShadow got out of her defense position. "Oh, sorry." she mewed. "I just didn't know your scent, and I was nervous. I apologize." she sighed. "But man, did you scare me! I thought you were a badger or one of my old clanmates!"

Her ears pricked up when she felt him and then laughed at rustleheart's reply. "Well thank goodness," she purred. "This clan isn't at all like my old one." she said more calmly now that she didn't mind Emberfang's coat brushing against hers.

She turned to Emberfang, and with a thoughtful expression on her face she purred, "Thanks. Now, I've told you enough about myself, what about you?" she asked with a questioning look on her face.

"Whoa," she said with a suprised look crossing her face. Then she laughed and said, "Welcome to my world of voilence." she smiled at him.

SpottedShadow walked over to the river and stared up at the moon. "It sure is pretty out," she purred.

She heard his remark and turned to look at him. She saw the look on his face then blushed.

She looked at him and in a soothing voice she said, "You know, it seems like no one in this world trusts me. Except you. I barley know you and we trust each other." She didn't notice her tail was moving closer to his. "You trust me right?" she said quietly.

Her eyes widened in amazement. "R-really? Even more than Starclan?" she mewed.

SpottedShadow's tail coiled around his. "I trust you, too." she murmured in his ear.

SpottedShadow stared deep into the forest, with her tail still wrapped around EmberFang's.

SpottedShadow stared at the moon and purred.

DawnWish walked around camp calling her kit's name. "Frostkit! Frostkit? Where are you?" she called, sounding a little paniced. She looked up at the sky. The sun was starting to dissapear into the trees. She started into a sprint around camp, yelling her name.

SpottedShadow looked down at the river and blushed. Then she realized the time, and her ears pricked up. "Oh! It's getting kind of late," she said, springing to her feet.
