[fancypost borderwidth=0px;text-align:justify;margin-top:-15px;width:412px]Well, there wasn't enough people here yet to practice sparring. What could he teach them in the meantime, that would be useful?
His and the others's roleplayers had, quite obviously heard about the new rule changes to the site, one of them being that powers were now free. There might be more people from other Clans that possessed the power of telepathy, which gave Anthony somewhat of an idea.
"I-If you do not have telepathy powers, one of the harder attacks to defend against are mental attacks. And most of them render you unable to battle, if even for a short time." Anthony began, even though he was sure the two older felines knew this already. "One way to avoid these attacks, once you are able to, is to distract your enemy then hit back harder, if you can."
The mercenary hopped off of the rock, standing in front of the two and shuffling his front paws. "This move is a pretty basic one that you most likely already know, but it could be useful against mental attacks." The black lab paused and pointed to the ground in front of him. "The first part is to simply distract your opponent. You could fake from side to side quickly, or even roll to one side. Your opponent will think you have gone mildly insane, and you will most likely break their concentration on you with you moving randomly.
"The second part is to dart to one side of them. If they're big enough compared to you, you can quickly move under them and kick their underbelly hard. Or if you are bigger than them, you can sptwist uponto your frint paws and kick them hard in the side. That will halt their attacks for the time being, and you can retaliate harder before they attack you mentally again. Like I said, i-it's a basic move, but a useful one. And, of course, you can change it up however you see fit." the labrador explained. "Since I am pretty sure both of you already know this move, would you like to try practicing it on each other for now?" Anthony said, more of a question than any sort of command.
