An odd, new sensation fluttered in Legion's chest: warmth.

It was pleasant, soothing. Strange, and new, but good. Like the sun was warming its fur, fur that it could not remember having. But the sensation was memorable, and ancestral. Someone, at some time, had experienced this the same way.

i would say write out your steps. like "body paragraph one: what it's about" kind of thing. and when you get done with one part, reread. make someone else read it. edit put parts that are repeated or useless, then connect to the next paragraph and repeat the proccess.
