[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px; font-family: georgia; text-align: justify; text-transform: lowercase;]Noticing most of the clan he lived in was there brought some comfort, he had a bit of an uneasy feeling being on someone else's territory and being around strangers- even if they were invited. Besides wanting to behave, that had been another reason he moved away from most of the crowd.

Despite watching things go on, the stern look in his mothers eyes at the glance her receive hadn't gone unnoticed. If he misbehaved.. he was sure to get in some trouble later. To avoid anymore reminders, and due to some curiosity, Darkkit got up and began to move around. He was looking for someone who was unfamiliar to him- he wanted to ask a few questions.[/fancypost]

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px; font-family: georgia; text-align: justify; text-transform: lowercase;]With hearing the conversations and the introductions, Darkkit was slowly put to ease and soon relaxed. His pressed down pose to make him smaller than normal ended up becoming one where he was laying down. It made things even more comfortable when he found someone he already knew show up- Paradoxkit! "She showed me that art place!" He beamed to himself in thought, a smile coming across his face. The building might have been the coolest thing besides the lake in his opinion, outside of camp.[/fancypost]

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px; font-family: georgia; text-align: justify; text-transform: lowercase;]He breathed a sigh of relief as he heard the response- so it was just Milliard. That was good. "Do you mind if I call you Milly or Mill?" Darkkit wanted to give the other a shorter nickname if possible, that was something he saw go on once or twice around camp and it seemed like a fun thing to do. But, he didn't even wait for an answer as he looked up towards the sky. "What is that thing?" The tom kit questioned- he never seen it before and he didn't even know it was dangerous.[/fancypost]

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px; font-family: georgia; text-align: justify; text-transform: lowercase;]So he could call him Mill! He was a bit happy over that fact, a smile spreading over his maw- some would probably think he smiled too much. He didn't say anything until after the explanation, his eyes widening in awe as he continued to watch the creature. "It's called a hawk," He repeated to himself in thought, staring for another minute before looking back at him. "Alright! And they are pretty, thank you for telling me," Darkkit responded with the usual chipper in his voice.[/fancypost]

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px; font-family: georgia; text-align: justify; text-transform: lowercase;]"That is interesting," Darkkit thought to himself as he continued to listen to the thoughts and comments around him. He didn't say anything tho, he thought it was best if he still kept quiet, which was exactly what he did. Despite that, he had a lot of thoughts whirling around in his head from the mention of such new things.[/fancypost]

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px; font-family: georgia; text-align: justify; text-transform: lowercase;]For a moment, Darkkit sat down and admired the bird before his attention turned over towards Millard. "I haven't been this far outside of camp before, do you know any interesting places out here?" He knew Millard was knew, but some creatures loved to roam and it seemed that the more others roamed- the more things that they found, which Darkkit thought was really cool.[/fancypost]

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px; font-family: georgia; text-align: justify; text-transform: lowercase;]Oh. That was a bit disappointing, but it was expected. "Would ya like to go exploring with me?" Darkkit offered him, the frown having taken over his face at the first comment but came back with a vengeance at the suggestion. Considering he was already lost, why not make the best of a situation?[/fancypost]

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px; font-family: georgia; text-align: justify; text-transform: lowercase;]Upon hearing that, the smile slowly disappeared. He let out a noise that sounded like a bit of a whine before looking towards where he thought Millard was with puppy eyes. "Please Mill?" The begging in his tone of voice was noticeable- he didn't want to go back to camp just yet.[/fancypost]

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px; font-family: georgia; text-align: justify; text-transform: lowercase;]He had been out and about, roaming around and trying to explore some more when he came across the scene. Darkkit.. never had seen a body before, or knew what death was, so this surprised him. He took a step forward, his paw sinking into the blood- quickly recoiling it as he looked over the body. "What is this?" He questioned himself, referring to the blood that had now stained his black fur. It didn't seem harmful, so he continued forward and attempted to nudge the still body with his nose. As far as he was concerned, she was sleeping. "Come on, wake up, you shouldn't be sleeping out here," He figured, due to the hawks, it was bad to sleep outside of camp. The thing around her neck seemed a bit out of the ordinary but maybe it was just a necklace.[/fancypost]

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px; font-family: georgia; text-align: justify; text-transform: lowercase;]Another creature he hadn't seen yet, so he was curious. He already noticed the bit of a crowd around the small thing- which he was surprised since most kits his age weren't as small as he was. So, Darkkit figured he was younger. That wasn't an issue tho, this cat could still play, right? That is what he thought as he slipped up to the younger male and looked down. It took him a moment to take in his appearance but he soon offered a smile. "Hi there!" He meowed with some friendliness in his voice.[/fancypost]

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px; font-family: georgia; text-align: justify; text-transform: lowercase;]The odd question resounded in his ears as he made his way over towards that sight. Joining the group as he listened to the suggestions that had been given. "I saw a hawk flying earlier. Maybe you just flap your wings like Paradoxkit said?" Darkkit added in as he rose up onto his back legs- attempting to keep his balance as he flailed his front legs in front of him before toppling over and falling on his back. It took him a bit to recover, but an idiotic smile soon spread across his face.[/fancypost]

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px; font-family: georgia; text-align: justify; text-transform: lowercase;]As soon as he noticed his friend with a bowtie on- which gave away his location- he offered a smile. Now he could talk to him face to face! "Wow! That is amazing," Darkkit meowed in awe as he bounded forward, wanting to expect it some more- but he didn't want to interrupt the others around him already so he kept his distance.[/fancypost]

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px; font-family: georgia; text-align: justify; text-transform: lowercase;]He gave such a big grin when he heard Millard agreed to go a little further. Then even went a little further to let him choose the direction they went in. He leaped to his paws and started to bound towards the regrowing forest- it had apparently burned down a while ago. "This way!" He meowed excitedly, he didn't run yet, just sprint a little ways forward. "I wonder what could be down here!" He thought to himself, his tail whipping around happily.[/fancypost]

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px; font-family: georgia; text-align: justify; text-transform: lowercase;]Not long after, Darkkit continued sprinting into the forest, a grin being plastered to his face as he continued. The burned grass mixed with the new, growing, kind felt odd under his paws but he didn't mind it too much. Some of the falling leaves crunched beneath his light weight, it would scare away any prey around but thankfully they weren't hunting. "Do you think anything would be around here?" He asked Milliard, who he was hoping would follow.

[i kind of want darky to sprain something.][/fancypost]

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px; font-family: georgia; text-align: justify; text-transform: lowercase;]"Anything..?" He chewed on the word he had said in thought for a brief moment, but it wasn't long for him to explain. "Like a two leg building or maybe another creature or maybe some more wa-" Darkkit was going to finish saying water but his leg got caught in a rabbit hole, it twisted in a painful direction and successfully sprained it as he was launched forward, off of his feet. He crashed headfirst into the hard ground, adding onto further injuries. Darkkit ended up rolling just a little bit until he came to a stop, attempting to get up and shake off any leaves covering his pelt but a shooting pain went up his front left leg when it did. Just as his head started to throb, and a couple aches adorned his body from having crashed to the ground- the momentum rolling him just a small distance.

It caused to to give a loud whine as he looked down at it with worry and fear, sitting down and holding it up.[/fancypost]

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px; font-family: georgia; text-align: justify; text-transform: lowercase;]He continued to whimper as he was picked up by the scruff, he didn't mind it this time. He didn't want to walk right now, his leg hurt so badly. "No.. no i'm not," His voice was shaky, and it obviously contained fear and worry in it. Laced with a bit of pain as Darkkit continued to stare at his injured paw. "Thank you," He tried to pick up the courage as he thanked the older cat- if it wasn't for him, he'd be limping back or stuck in the forest until someone found him. Plus, Millard could have always just.. left him. That wasn't a settling thought.[/fancypost]

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px; font-family: georgia; text-align: justify; text-transform: lowercase;]He was thankful for being carried so far- but when he noticed him panting, he felt bad. "I'll walk the rest of the way if you want," Darkkit offered- he figured it'd be painful but if it helped Millard out, he'd do it. He'd.. just be slow. "I don't want to be a bother," He thought to himself as he looked down at the ground. He was pretty small, smaller than normal, and light, but it was clear to him Millard may not be able to carry him all the way home.[/fancypost]

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px; font-family: georgia; text-align: justify; text-transform: lowercase;]At the reassurance, Darkkit returned to looking at the ground- wanting to get over the pain. It wasn't broken, but it hurt so badly! He stifled a whine, not wanting to annoy the apprentice that he couldn't see with the sounds. So, for the most part, he forced himself to remain quiet.

[ sorry this was short, i'm gonna get the med cat or one of their apprentices. ][/fancypost]

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px; font-family: georgia; text-align: justify; text-transform: lowercase;]At the statement, he wasn't sure why he was told that- was it so they wouldn't get in trouble? Well.. he already made it difficult on the apprentice so he decided to not protest and make things worse. "But.. what if they ask me how it happened? Would lying work?" He was completely hesitant to ask that question considering he never lied before- he heard it was wrong, and that some others weren't convinced. [/fancypost]

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 400px; font-family: georgia; text-align: justify; text-transform: lowercase;]He gave a small nod, still entirely unsure about the whole situation. He was only three moons and he only knew so much so he didn't really question it, he just knew it was wrong- but at the same time, he already found them in enough trouble so he decided to go along with it. Staring down at his paws, he did his best to keep off the one as best as possible. "Alright," He agreed with a brief nod.
