Two months in and already Narsil was fed up with the nest. So he'd left and explored the house. Now he'd had enough of that and wanted more. More, always more for the young kitten. Dark eyes glowing with curiosity, he took no heed to the position of his kin and marched for the front door, nudging it open and stepping outside for the first time. He was greeted rudely by a sharp drop that signified the step and the young tom went tumbling. "Hey!" Narsil protested as he slid to a stop at the bottom of the step. He turned around and glared, looking for someone to blame but saw nothing.

Ever curious Narsil tottered over on long but unsteady legs, peering curiously at the lion cub. He was used to the large animals by now, but what about the noise? Padding closer, the dark colored tom reached out a paw and prodded at Lucifer. "Why you makin' tha noise?" He questioned, flicking his ears.

A small brightly colored butterfly fluttered along the wind signling the arrival of a young kitten who had yet to catch a butterfly, but not for lack of trying. Happily free of his fathers house and, for the moment, out of her sight, Narsil was ready to get into trouble. Starting with a butterfly. His amber eyes lit up when he spotted the older cats. "Catch it!" He yelled, bounding after the butterfly that was flying closer to the bigger cats.

Narsil swiveled his head from advise to advise. So much to learn? Flattening his eaers, the young cat questioned, "Who is Potholes? I'm kin figh' 'em!" He popped back onto his feet, with imperfect grammar, bouncing towards Imperialpaw indigently. He wasn't going to let a little thing like defeat by a step bother him. He would take these terrible foes called potholes! Turning his head to peer suspisously at Lucidreveire, Narsil asked "Who you?" This cat knew his name, but Narsil wasn't sure he'd ever seen this one before. Infact, had he seen any of these cats? It didn't matter. He could take them, if they decided to get hungry.

Narsil pouted unhappily, backing up and stumbling into his brother. That wasn't any fun. Not that he wanted to die, he'd just been born after all, but he wanted in on the apparent fun! Looking up eargerly at the newcomer, Imperialpaw, Narsil bobbed his head. He could do that. The black kit nudged his brother towards a nearby step. "Come on Ross, don't breath!" Narsil took a deep breath and bound for the step on which he pearched, peering eagerly at the older cats. He held his breath as he'd interpreted the instructions and waited eagerly.

Narsil crinkled his nose. "You don't look like an ant." He pointed out, thinking of the tiny little bugs that he chased around the floor until they bit him. She looked like a cat. Who would name themselves after such horrid creatures? The outside world was a weird one indeed.

Narsil bound over beside his brother, flicking his ears. "I am going." He declared. He was small, but his long legs and boundless energy made up for that. He might not be able to keep up with all of the bigger cats, but it wasn't like he was going to notice. He'd stick with his brother and get his nose into some kind of trouble.

Narsil sat back and curled his tail around his paws, eyes flicking to each one who spoke. They sure were a chatty bunch wern't they? He like it. Shrugging, the young cat replied. "The city is fine." He sure liked running about an exploreing. It was a ton of fun. Pricking his ears, Narsil was happy to see his father. "I'm great." He chirpped, flicking his tail. "I've met a whole bunch of..." He glanced around at the gathering. "Ants and uncles and co-sins." He finished.

Narsil blinkked, startled at the suddeness at which his clan mate took off. "What is she chasing?" He asked Imperialpaw, afraid it was something dangerous. It looked dangerous. He flicking his tail warly, scooting behind Imperialpaw for safety as he watched the nurse run around.

Hearing his father having a temper tantrum, Narsil scurried over. He didn't want to miss the excitment, but he also didn't want to be in the path of Dirks fury. Shades? Was that what those things were called? Honestly, Narsil had thought they were attached to his fathers eyes, but it appeared not to be the case. Hovering near by, Narsil waited and watched.

Narsil had been given a job and he now strutted out about the city, his little chest puffed out as far as it would go, with a basket of strawberries clenched in his teeth. His mission, and he accepted it, was to poll his clan members and figure out ifthey liked strawberries. Or not. He liked them just fine. And if no one had ever had a strawberry before he had plenty to share. Amber eyes flicking from one place to another, Narsil looked for his first victim, er, pollee.

"I'm not scared!" Narsil protested, turning to his clan mate to argue his fear and failed to see the yarn ball hurtling in his direction, the trail of yarn leaving a path wherever it went. "Eek!" The young feline squeaked as it hit his paws. He jumpped and batted it away. Only it didn't go very far. His claws snagged in the thick yarn and as he pulled back his paw, it followed. "It's bit me!" He gasped, shaking his paw until th eball flew free, soaring back towards Lucy. Fur fluffy and ears alert, Narsil glared after the offending ball. "Look out." He warned. "It will get you!"

Narsil blinked at his clanmates. "Swaberrys!" He mumbled through a mouthful of basket handle. Gently setting his package down, he asked, "Do you like strawberries?" A general question, directed to anyone who cared to answer. One by one, he carefully pulled out a strawberry and rolled it first to Lucid, then Marian, then Damian, then Lucy. "Try one." He urged. [b]"But be careful, they squish very easily."

Narsil huffed. It hadn't hurt, for sure, but it bit. The young kitten jumped as the small ball landed in front of him, eyeing it warily. They claimed it wasn't alive, and it did look rather dead. Batting it gingerly back towards Poisonpaw, as that seemed to be how the game went, he commented "It's a very strange creature."

Narsil had hardly settled himself down before it was over. Promotions, demotions and raids. He wasto small to go on a raid yet, but he couldn't wait until he grew up. Looking up at his leader with bright orange eyes, he awaited the all of any more announcements.

Until a few days ago yarn was a new subject to Narsil. He hadn't gotten a proper explanation of just what, or rather who, the ball was so he was off to find some himself. He rather imagined a clearing filled with little red yarn balls, bouncing all around and unraveling and reraveling themselves. And he was ditermined to find them. Stalking into the forest, Narsil set off on his jounry to find the mysterious yarn balls.

Narsil approched the pair, eyeing the stranger. "Hello." He welcomedwhile he waited for her to speak. The orange feline shook out his fur and took a seat, waiting patiently
