A kittypet sat on her fence. Her fur hadn't been brushed in days, and she was hungry. Her owner had left her, and never came back. She could understand bits of housefolk speak, and from what she heard the housefolk coming into her home say, her owner had died. Fortunately, she could access her food, and there was a cat flap.
She saw a young cat dragging a lump of black fur with a sense of urgency. She hopped down off her fence, discovering the lump of fur was a black tomcat.
"Is he alright?" she asked, "I'm Abbie. I know somewhere he can be safe. Follow me." She led the two through the gate, and into her home. "Let me see him..." -
"I know somewhere safe." Abbie told Pulsingpaw, "follow me."
