Jem looked at Blaze, then at Tundra. She caught her sister's eye and smiled widely. ''Ohhh I get it!" She exclaimed. ''Thanks for coming sis,'' She said to her sister. Turning to Blaze she smiled. ''Nice to meet you. I'm Jem.''
Tundra smiled at ehr sister, then motioned towards the fresh kill. ''We brought food,'' SHe said.
-
Tanner shrugged. ''We could pull them off by looping them on a tree branch, then running forward,'' He suggested.
-
Tundra yawned and curled up by Blaze's feet. She looked up at the sky. It was already getting dark. ''I'm going to sleep,'' She said sleepily, closing her eyes.
Jem looked gratefully at her mother, Tundra, and Blaze before gulping down the mouse.
-
Tanner nodded and walked to a low hanging branch, managing to get his collar looped around it. He pounded forward, the collar choking him until finally it ripped loose and he flew forward. ''it works,'' He mumbled from the ground.
-
Tundra nodded and nuzzled Blaze before curling up again and closing her eyes. ''If you...ever want to sleep... just wake me,'' She mumbled, falling asleep quickly.
-
Tanner stood up, shaking out his fur ''Mmhmm,'' He answered. ''Your turn,'' He said with a smile.
-
Tundra shot her head up. ''Whazhappin?" She mumbled, standing up. ''Where's the dog?" She looked around before walking over to her mom and her sister, urgently pushing them .."Wake up!"
Jem opened her eyes. ''I'm trying to sleep!" She muttered.
-
Tanner sat down and chuckled. ''Dont hurt yourself like I did!" He meowed.
-
Jem finally stood up. ''What's the rush?" She mumbled, glaring at her sister and Blaze.
Tundra swatted her sister. ''Dog!" She yelled into her ear.
Jem's eyes widened and she took a step back. ''Good luck,'' She muttered before she shot out of the garden.
''JEM!" Tundra screamed after her sister. ''Stupid fleabag,'' She muttered. She looked at her mother and Blaze. ''Where do w go?"
-
Tanner burst out laughing. ''Of course, you don't listen to me,'' He said, smirking.
-
Tanner smiled. ''Lets get going,'' He said, standing up.
-
''Come on mom you can do it,'' Tundra pleaded, standing behind her mother. She wasn't going to leave her here. ''Just back up a few paces, you'll make it for sure!" She added, looking behind her back. The dog was nearing them, and she thought if noticed the silhouette of the cats.
-
Tanner stopped at the edge of the forest. ''Ready?" He meowed.
-
Tanner nodded and started walking in the forest, his eyes sweeping around the scenery.
-
Tundra back up then jumped, scrabbling up. She was almost at the top when she felt a fierce tugging on her tail. Yelping with pain, she grabbed the edge of the fence and pulled herself up, away from the dog. ''I'm okay,'' She whispered, her eyes wide. She looked down at her tail and wailed. ''Half of it's gone!" She cried, looking at Blaze with agonized eyes.
-
Tanner turned to Tiger. ''It's amazing out here,'' He mewed ''Isn't ti?"
-
Tanner bounded forward, shooting through a pike of leaves, laughing.
-
''It's fun!" Tanner eclaimed, his whole body covered with leaves.
-
Tundra whimpered and jumped off the fence, landing unsteadily because she didn't have her tail to balance her. She turned and waited for Blaze ''Hurry!" She cried, her eyes wide.
-
Tanner shook out his fur and bounded up the tree, clambering up a branch above Tiger.
