It smelt like the sea. A soft groan left Lena's lips as stretched out her stiff limbs, she had a vague recollection of the night before, but something told her she was not where she'd left off. A few blinks and she took in her surroundings. A beach. That'd explain the sea smell, but she had no memory of being near the beach at all, leaving her with no clue as to how she'd ended up on a beach in the first place. Within a few seconds, she was up on her feet, looking around curiously.
A huge line of trees was directly ahead, sand stretched further than the eye could see to her sides. "Right," she said to herself, beginning a slow walk towards the tree line, "This is new." The best option was most likely to scout ahead, see if she could find any shelter or other people, if she found nothing she could head back to the beach. Maybe a boat would pass by and see her if she was to be lucky.

It hadn't taken much time for Lara to begin her journey into the dense forest. Past experience had told her that sticking around on the beach was not going to be a good idea, especially when there was ominous messages sounding throughout the air. She was thankful to have woken up armed; it gave her the option to defend herself if things got rough. And seeing from what that message had said, people would be seeking to kill her, so she would need to fight back.
She'd worked out the best plan would be to find a sheltered area in which she could set up a camp, from there she could hunt and do anything else she needed to survive. The silence of the forest put her on edge, the shadows cast from the thick canopies creating an unnerving atmosphere for her and her hand hovered readily over the bow across her back, if anything or anyone came for her, she'd be ready.

The island was a strange change of surroundings. So far, there had been no sight of walkers but that did not stir the ideas of them lurking within the dark tree line out of Clementine's head. She walked at a steady pace along the shoreline, eyes narrowed as she kept casting glances back towards the trees.
The place had her incredibly paranoid. She didn't know where she was and the gnawing sense of danger set her nerves alight so much her hand was clasped tightly around the pistol she held. Another quick glance towards the empty tree line and her posture relaxed somewhat, so far, she seemed to be safe. She just hoped that she wouldn't run into anything. The island didn't look like it would have much ammo, and Clem had a limited supply.

OOC: This took ridiculously long to write, lol. Like seriously, I didn't think I'd take this long.
I am using colour coding for speech, mainly for convenience in case my characters happen to bump into each other later on, so it'll be easier to tell them apart :p

Anyway, I'm glad this show is finally on the road! :)

Clementine watched Lucas approach, her grip on her weapon tightening. From what she could see, he seemed no threat. But, she'd learned not to trust anyone. "Hello." She replied slowly, slight ice within her voice, "I take it you're in a similar situation to me?" She questioned, relaxing her stance somewhat. She didn't want to give the impression she was nervous, especially in her circumstances. Without bothering to let him answer she spoke again, "Any idea where we are?"

After a disappointing scout ahead, Lena returned back to her beach. She'd found nothing but trees. No rivers, no animals, no people, no nothing. Just great. Although, out of the corner of her eye, she had spotted a small bush of what looked to be blackberries. "Ah food!" She exclaimed chipperly, blinking over to the fruit, picking a large amount off the bush. "Least ya have somethin' to eat, eh Lena?" She said to herself, pocketing the majority of the berries and popping the rest into her mouth, "Starving to death would be a bit embarrassing considering everything you've been through!" She was oblivious to the fact she was currently talking to herself and probably sounded like she had lost her sanity already, she was just pleased to have found something other than sand and trees.

Lara had made her way to a small clearing a little way off from the where the beach had been. It was a promising area, sheltered enough from the elements enough to provide her some form of shelter and close to the beach so she could keep an eye out for any form of help if spotted. She'd already begun work on crafting herself a make shift tent, and had a small fire pit set up a little way off. Once her improvised shelter was complete, she sat herself down in front of the fire pit, listening idly to the lapping of the sea in the distance. "At least you haven't bumped into any Sun cult maniacs," she murmed, "So far, so good."

OOC: Lol, well feel free to use any video game character :)

Also a quick heads up that I'll have to go to sleep soon, this'll probably be my last reply of the night :p

"Clementine." Clementine responded, she hesitantly accepted his hand, shaking it out of politeness. This Lucas seemed friendly enough. She relaxed her gaze, looking out over the water briefly before looking back at him. "Have you seen any signs of others?" She asked; even though he didn't seem it, he may well be with a group. Something Clem was not looking to be a part of if she could help it. Most groups just led to trouble anyway.

OOC: It is indeed still open! :) I was in bed, so sorry for the late reply!

"I wouldn't say that's a good thing," Clem muttered. As much as she felt a small amount of fondness for Lucas and his optimism, that amount of naivety could get him killed. People generally tended to be bad news, they were not a good thing. "You gonna go look for other people?" She asked, "If so, feel free to go ahead. I won't stall you any further."

After patrolling the sandy beach for a while, Lena decided that her best bet would probably be to find others. Even though she hadn't found any sign of another living creature, she was hopeful that she wasn't alone. She dove back into the tree line and rapidly blinked through, a trail of blue blur in her wake, keeping her eyes peeled for any signs of someone else.

A deer had wandered through the tree line opposite her. A deer. Lara was beginning to praise her luck. She sat up slowly, careful not to startle the creature, removing her bow off her back. The creature had yet to move, that was a good thing. She took an arrow out her quiver silently, quickly nocking it onto the bow string, drawing it back and carefully aiming it at the deer. A sudden disturbance in the trees caused the deer to startle and run off. Lara cursed under ger breath, "Damn it!" She knew she'd have to follow it deeper into the forest, deers were a good source of meat and she could not risk going hungry.

"Goodbye." Clementine watched him walk for a short while, feeling kind of bad- he had sounded upset, but she shook the feeling off, turning around to head in the opposite direction. She needed to find food and a reliable water source, the most likely place to find that was probably the forest. Quickening her pace, she headed into the tree line. Keeping an eye out for any form of animal.

Lena had to do a double take when she saw a skeleton run past her. She had seen a lot of weird things in her life, but a skeleton was definitely bizarre. She watched after Sans with wide eyes for a few seconds before quickly realizing tthat this skeleton may be help of finding out where she was. In a rapid dash, she followed after Sans, "Excuse me!" She called out to him, in hopes that he could hear her.

The deer had been quick, but Lara had eventually managed to track it down. It lead her to what seemed to be an abandoned compound, a large industrial building surrounded by a rusty barbed wire fence. The deer had disappeared through a gap in the fence into the open doors of the building, Lara slipped through the fence and followed it. The area was deadly silent, which made her slightly nervous and there was a distinct smell of decay in the air, something she was not too comfortable with. But, she needed that deer.

Lena shook her head, "Sorry I haven't. You've the first person- well skeleton- that I've run into." She gave him a sad smile in apology, "But I can help you look if ya want?" She offered. The skeleton seemed nice to her, and she understood how worried he was about his brother. The least she could do was help him out.

Good lord I would just like to apologize for completely vanishing on you guys! I am so sorry that I haven't been on and I know that's it's been bloody ages, but school just really caught up with me and I completely forgot about my responsibility to you guys on here. I am so sorry for ignoring you for so long, but I am back now and hope to get this thread back up and running!

That being said, everyone is accepted and you are all still free to join! But, I will probably be remaking the thread, you need not worry about applying again as everyone who is still interested I'll automatically reserve your characters for you in the new thread. So, if you're still interested in this thread, please let me know so I know who to add when I make the new thread!

Hi all! I've recently got back into rping and so I'd like to find a few partners to RP with.

I'm quite happy to do anything really, any genre, any kinda ship (although I primarily like yaoi), I'm also willing to do more sensitive topics. I really don't mind in regards to plot.

In regards to skill, I'm looking for semi-advanced to advanced writers. My average response length, as of recent is about 500 words, so if you could match that, that would be great!

So if you're looking for someone to rp with, I'm available lol! I'm socially awkward and anxious, but I won't bite and I'd quite like to make some new friends.

If you're interested, please shoot me a PM!

It's quiet, you think to yourself as you first wake up. The sun hits your eyes as soon as you open them, momentarily blinding as you struggle to stand up. You're on a beach, the sea laps against the shore hungrily, golden sand beneath your feet. You don't know how you came to be here.

This is a multiple fandom rp in which your character(s), wakes up stranded on a desert island with no idea how they got there or how to get back home. All they know is they can't be the only person here, right?

We are no longer accepting new people to this rp! Sorry about that.
