Mathew stood up and followed into the water, a frightened expression on his face as he did, the male was hardly used to a tail instead of legs and he was lucky for the ability mermaids had of breathing under water or he would have drowned.Once he was in and the water turned him, he wiggles around, trying to swim to his sister, he failed though."Maria, please help me.." He mumbled sadly, he was on th volleyball team, he was supposed to be good at everything, he used to be on the swim team as well! He wasn't used to the failing!!His grades are higher than what his class does for goodness!!
Maria rolled her eyes and swam to her brother, taking a gentle hold of his upper arm and pulling him."It's like your belly dancing but forward and back, try it." She said and showed him, using herself as an example for it.

Maria smiled once she saw her brother get a better hang of it before starting to swim deeper and closer to the island she had dropped her item in."Come on Mathew." She called out with a grin, ignoring her brothers pleads for her to slow down.The brunette twirled around with a grin plastered onto her face, her eyes shone with outmost happiness as she did.She felt as f she was flying- she felt so free and now she wished the island she lived on with everyone else had such Horus buildings- it didn't even blend in the the forest that made up 1/3 of the island.While in bought, she managed to crash into a rock the spiraled upward, then she quickly found it that she was deep, and that she should head up closer to the surface.
Mathew followed slower and in a more calm pace, he had gotten a good hang of it and now he wanted to relax, under water.It was peaceful, no disturbing sounds of cars and truck, no tourists asking about stuff, it was merely peaceful.Once he did catch up to his sister, because of her sudden setback due to the rock, he took her arm and helped her up, to the surface.For all the elder brother knew, his sister might be bleeding.He checked over her head before sighing in relief."Idiot." He chuckled playfully as he rubbed her head, but seeing the island caused discomfort in him, that island caused him to be something he didn't want to be.

Maria rolled her green eyes simply before diving back into the water and swimming low, to the shinning item.She picked it up and carefully placed it around her wrist, securely."Let's head back, Mathew." She instructed and turned, swimming in the direction of their home island."We can come up and dry on Minty shore." She spoke in a careful voice, picking the location that nobody went to, so they would be safe and nobody would see them.She turned to her brother after speaking so much and twirled as she swam, trying to get as dizzy as possible, she had to get used to it, she wanted to be a pro at the swimming as a mermaid think.
Mathew followed his sister silently, trying to keep up with all her talking."Alright, Minty Shore sounds perfect." He said, he remembered that place, his sister,himself, and two close friends knew about it, everyone else feared the area because of all the thorns in the plants and dangers in the water."Maybe I can finally test out the ability I gained." He said to himself, he loved his ability, his food was always better because of it.He, now that he swam better, swam past his sister and calmly shouted "I can beat you!" In a cheerfully calm tone, rare to say the least when he didn't sound bored or monotone, or even confused.

Mathew followed his sister as he tried to keep up with her surprising speed."Maria! Are you alright?" He called out as he watched he event.He quickly swam up to he two and held his sisters face in his hands, checking for injuries before turning to Marie, "I am so sorry- wait! You where there when the class took the field trip a week ago! Did you fall in the water in that cavern as well?" He asked in confusion while taking her face in his hands to check her face, he was hoping to go to college to study to be a nurse, so it explained why he always checked for injuries.
