[fancypost bgcolor= transparent; border: 0px solid black; width: 300px; overflow: auto; text-align: justify; text-transform: lowercase; font-family: arial]There was nothing beneath his paws but the ground below him, there was no magnificent snow. The cold air was hardly even what he considered cold, not even chilly, instead, he was rather warm in the climate here. The sky above was so clear, and warm looking, unusual for him. But he could grow to like it.

    His mother wasn't dead.

    He didn't know his father.

    He just... left.

No one bothere to come get him, so what was the use of staying? They didn't really care much, his littermates were absolute wussies, and his mother barely even spoke two words to him. All Halcyone ever heard, were 'stop' and 'no'. Only way he found out his name is because his sister called out to him once. The young cub rolled his eyes and stayed in a standing position. He'd figure someone would come sooner or later, although his patience was waining and he was growing tired of the waiting game.

But he should probably stop there, he was too old for acting like a tired and cranky kit. He out lived those days a while ago, but that didn't mean his temper dad depleted at all.[/fancypost]

[fancypost bgcolor= transparent; border: 0px solid black; width: 300px; overflow: auto; text-align: justify; text-transform: lowercase; font-family: arial]he was startled at first, at the sudden appearance of another male before him. He couldn't help his own child-like tendency to shrink back and open his mouth slightly, prepared to let out a silent hiss. But he stopped, once more regaining his own composer and setting his dark blue orbs on the stranger before him. His eyes seemed to analyze Halcyone and almost stare into his soul, a normal response would be to shrink under the older gentleman's stare. Yet, as always, he kept a strong and stubborn attitude.

His ears flickered as he saw a winged she-cat come out of no where, this time, he wasn't intimidated, but he was actually comforted by her presence. She was tiny, like his younger sister, yet the tortie before him who had a stutter was by far more smaller than the young snow leopardess.

The small maw he had been born with opened, his baby teeth still there, but starting to fall out rapidly as he grew larger. "My name is Halcyone... and I'm looking to join your clan."

Halcyone's eyes glanced between the both of them, curious, but not allowing it show through his features. He was a tough little cub to get through, but once he felt comfortable... he was a bit of a wild card. Not a daring one, but one without a filter and who's brave enough that it might be borderline stupidity in his case.[/fancypost]

[fancypost bgcolor= transparent; border: 0px solid black; width: 300px; overflow: auto; text-align: justify; text-transform: lowercase; font-family: arial]apprentice aged, new to the clan. Has memory manip. & is a snow leopard.

Left his family because they're squares.

He's looking for friends + more!

I don't mind random private or open threads. Any is good in my book. (;[/fancypost]

[fancypost bgcolor= transparent; border: 0px solid black; width: 300px; overflow: auto; text-align: justify; text-transform: lowercase; font-family: arial]He was taken back by the attention and open kindness he was shown, even if it were just a neutral voice. It was similar to his idea of what kindness would be.

He had, after all, grown up in a family that cherished his older brother and runt of sister more and basically ignored him. Like before, the only words he ever knew were stop and no. So it was no wonder that just by three times the amount of heys and a welcome forced him to be just a little suspicious. His tail flickered a little up and down, wondering whether their intentions were true. He knew the cruel paw of a harsh mother along with words that carried venom.

None of the beings in front of him striked him to resemble anything like his mother.

Forcing his own aggression and suspicions down, he allowed a small smile to form and it managed to reach the dark blue of his eyes. "Well, thank you... for your generosity. But I have a question... how does a uhh, group. Or clan, work?" He was new to this idea, his species were solitary animals and didn't bother to socialize with others unless they wanted 'companionship' whatever his mother meant about this.[/fancypost]

[fancypost bgcolor= transparent; border: 0px solid black; width: 300px; overflow: auto; text-align: justify; text-transform: lowercase; font-family: arial]sounds perfect!

    Wanna thread with them? c:[/fancypost]

[fancypost bgcolor= transparent; border: 0px solid black; width: 300px; overflow: auto; text-align: justify; text-transform: lowercase; font-family: arial]He padded over and glanced from yveltal to the baskets and wrinkled his nose a little. He had no clue what easter was, never heard of it, and had no clue why he'd want a yucky egg with yolks and bird babies in them.

"Uhh, Miss.. these aren't regular bird eggs right? " His clueless innocent youth was probably the only thing saving him from looking incredibly stupid. He inched towards the baskets, wondering what they were for.

Little Halcy's mother never bothered explaining any of this stuff to him, she'd much rather wash her paws from him than deal with his cluelessness to the world.[/fancypost]

[fancypost bgcolor= transparent; border: 0px solid black; width: 300px; overflow: auto; text-align: justify; text-transform: lowercase; font-family: arial]he inched towards the trio, curious by the lioness first off. But also wanting to make conversation, and dare he say it... friends. He opened his maw slightly and tasted the air to get use to the scents. He was still quite young, newly apprentice age.

The young snow leopard still bristled at new scents and others, but as he neared them. He calmed more and quietly sat down with them. Flickering his long feather like tail, a greeting on the tip of his tongue. "Hello."

He was still cautious of everyone in the clan. It was interesting enough how they lived together, he'd have to abandon his natural instincts to become a solitary male leopard.

[fancypost bgcolor= transparent; border: 0px solid black; width: 300px; overflow: auto; text-align: justify; text-transform: lowercase; font-family: arial]he looked to tama, an excited grin replacing his once contemplating look. "No clue what chocolate is. But it sounds fun! " With the barrier of his protective wall down, he leaped forward and grasped one of the smaller baskets in his mouth. Speaking around it, he said, "You said trees right? "

He had glanced at the avian, excitement clear in his dark blue eyes. But without waiting for an answer, he ran off to the closest tree. Doing what he loved, and that was climbing. Halcyone's small body escaped up the trunk. Claws digging into the rough bark as he tried spotting these eggs.

They must be noticeable! Otherwise, how else would they be found?

He latched onto a branch with his two front legs and lifted himself a little to look for an egg. Settled between two tight branches, he found his target. "No way! I found one!! " He struggled a little to pull himself all the way up. Cub fat weighing him down a little, but he managed it with the basket.

Soon he was happily padding over to the egg and placing the bright object in his small basket. [/fancypost]

[fancypost bgcolor= transparent; border: 0px solid black; width: 300px; overflow: auto; text-align: justify; text-transform: lowercase; font-family: arial]His tail stopped swaying for a moment as he thought of the prospect of having an actual family to watch his back and vice versa. It was a good deal for him, he hadn't had that yet. It'd take a while to get use to. But he believed he'd manage just fine.

"Hello Tama! " He greeted her, his new leader. It sounded a little weird to him to have someone be in charge of him. But, he enjoyed the leader's outgoing personality. It relaxed him a little, a small half smile grew on his snout.

"What would be my job in the clan? Like... what would I be expected to do? " He was brilliant at asking questions, even the stupid ones that everyone was afraid to ask. Yet, seeing as he's never been in a clan or group, he needed to know what they expected out of him now and for the future?[/fancypost]

[fancypost bgcolor= transparent; border: 0px solid black; width: 300px; overflow: auto; text-align: justify; text-transform: lowercase; font-family: arial]he streaked forward and stormed into the basket with games and toys, shuffling stuff around and looking for a ball to play with. The young cub found himself with a limited amount of toys.

Meaning: He had a blissful amount of zero toys.

As he searched, he pawed out a medium sized blue ball and allowed it to roll out of the basket. Gleefully, he chased after it as it rolled away from him. His tail dragged behind him on the ground as he quickly caught up with it.

Soon it was within his grasps and he was hugging to his chest. Looking towards the stranger who bares gifts, he flickered his ear in acknowledgment. "Thank you miss! " The cub was always the right mix of polite and devilish. [/fancypost]

[fancypost bgcolor= transparent; border: 0px solid black; width: 300px; overflow: auto; text-align: justify; text-transform: lowercase; font-family: arial]Halcyone forgot all about collecting other eggs as he enjoyed the one bright fluorescent egg that laid in his small basket. It wasn't till he glanced down from his tree branch that he noticed everyone else gathering to collect eggs, startled by the realization that they could steal them all. He leaped up onto his feet and gathered the handle of the basket in his mouth. Climbing back down the tree and leaping the last six feet to the ground, this leap caused his egg to rattle a little with whatever gift was inside.

The sudden temptation to open it and look inside came to him, but as soon as it came, it left. He was determined to look in the end once he collected at least ten. "Alright eggs!" He mumbled to himself around the basket, his eyes glancing around to find potential hiding places.

A large bush caught his attention and he made his way over, half dragging and half carrying the basket that only held one egg.[/fancypost]

[fancypost bgcolor= transparent; border: 0px solid black; width: 300px; overflow: auto; text-align: justify; text-transform: lowercase; font-family: arial]psh! Of course I'll make it.
    Es no problemo.
    Gimme a minuto.[/fancypost]

[fancypost bgcolor= transparent; border: 0px solid black; width: 300px; overflow: auto; text-align: justify; text-transform: lowercase; font-family: arial]Today was like any other; nothing fancy, nothing boring. But Halcyone was determined to find out more about this clan life, figure out what it was all about.

So far his life here consisted of talking and bothering his newfound clanmates and possible friends. Although, if he bothered them, he didn't really notice. So far he was oblivious of how other's felt about him and didn't really care much. Friends weren't a main concern, living and having fun was more like it.

"Gotcha." He muttered to himself, a devilish smirk decorated his maw as he pushed a medium sized blue ball away from him, chased it, caught it. Then he continued to repeat the process, each time bounding after it with a small bounce in his step. His tail flying up and down in a rhythm. [/fancypost]

[fancypost bgcolor= transparent; border: 0px solid black; width: 300px; overflow: auto; text-align: justify; text-transform: lowercase; font-family: arial]The young snow leopard bounded up beside his clanmates and greeted the new member, face devoted of no smile or smirk, but his eyes dancing with excitement. "HI! I'm Halcyone."

He decided that it was best to get socialized with everyone instead of sticking to himself, he would need some friends to help teach him clanlife. Along with what it meant to be apart of something bigger than himself. [/fancypost]

[fancypost bgcolor= transparent; border: 0px solid black; width: 300px; overflow: auto; text-align: justify; text-transform: lowercase; font-family: arial]He bounded up towards the small gathering, he was clueless as to what was going on. But he wasn't oblivious to the expression on some of their faces, ranging from sympathy to thankfulness. His own emotion was just curiosity, but he also wanted to offer his own services to help with whatever Zekrom needed.

The cub stayed quiet and moved over so that his was apart of the small group gathering up. [/fancypost]

[fancypost bgcolor= transparent; border: 0px solid black; width: 300px; overflow: auto; text-align: justify; text-transform: lowercase; font-family: arial]Hunt, protect? Sounded like something you'd do for family. So maybe this was like a huge family he could just be apart of. This warmed his bones and forced the gears in his mind to start working, he could learn to get better. Right now, he was only four months old, but he'd learn to fight and hunt over time.

The best he could do when he was traveling alone, was become a scavanger, he watched a fox eat an abandoned hare that another animal had left. Halcyone managed to come across quite a few half eaten meals that he finished... they were nasty. But he had to survive, and he couldn't be picky.

"Will I be able to learn how to hunt better?" Then it dawned on him that his cub play wouldn't suffice for fighting, "I also don't know how to fight either." He couldn't really hunt or fight when he didn't know how to do either one.[/fancypost]

[fancypost bgcolor= transparent; border: 0px solid black; width: 300px; overflow: auto; text-align: justify; text-transform: lowercase; font-family: arial]He was oblivious to the cold air and absentmindly said, "Oh it isn't that cold! But I'm sure we could probably find something for you!" Having lived in the mountains in his old home since his was born till just a few days ago. His pelt was thick and warm enough to get used to the cold air.

The four month old Leopard offered a half smile towards Liney as she smiled at them. He liked the older female already, enjoying her presence. [/fancypost]
