Pearlheart crawled under a bush and nudged Misthearts kits under with her. It was the least she could do since she could not fight.

Pearlheart nudged in between the two toms ignoring Salmonpaw. "Hey Snowstorm could I stand guard with you tonight?" she asked sweetly.

Pearlheart sat beside the handsome white tom and Littlespot. Though she was tired she didn't want to sleep because she hadn't watched the camp in a few weeks since she was training Swirlpaw.

Pearlheart needed some rest. She went into the nursery, seeing that Ravenwing was gone. She went in and curled her tail around the kits and went to sleep.I wish I had my own kits. she thought sorrowfully.

Diamondfur got up to see once again he leader tell everyone what to do. She didn't agree with the arrangement but she never had a choice.

"It's ok. I smell like your mom because I'm her sister." Pearlheart meowed to the kits. She nudged Nettlekit closer so he could smell her.

"Maplefang you and Shadowpaw can come hunting with me.And Maplefang find someone else to come with us" Diamondfur meowed calmly. After Maplefang's outburst someone needed to make peace.

"What if Larkit, you hid and Nettlekit, you try and find her using you nose?" She asked.

"Good job Nettlekit. You need good smell if you want to hunt." Pearlheart said encouragingly. She brought over a two balls of moss. "Larkit, you and Nettlekit both try and pounce on the moss." Pearlheart scooped up one ball and dropped it beside Nettlekit so he could reach it.
