Cri-cri returned the purr, and chuckled. "You've come with me this far, might as well."

"I think if we just get going he'll find our tracks pretty easily again," said Cri-cri. "I think we should get somewhere before the middle of the day and everyone wants to sleep." He knew he needed his midday rest. He was a cat and hated being up in the middle of the day.
-
"Yeah, let's go." Cri-cri started off on the trip again, heading further south. He was unaware that Tellurah and Shaniya were not following.
-
"Whatever, you know, I can't keep track of fifty cats. They want to follow, they'll follow," said Cri-cri, glancing backwards and shaking his head. He'd never signed up to be in charge of all of them anyway.
-
ooc: That's okay, they're all still getting going and actually your two were assumed to still be following :)
ic: "I don't have any clue," said Cri-cri. "Thull hasn't sent me any dreams or messages or anything. Only reason I think south is the right place to go is cause that's where that whole mess happened, all those years ago."
-
"It was...he didn't give me a direction," said Cri-cri as he padded on through the thick snow. Over the white, he saw footprints of other animals here and there now. The world had woken up and was making its impressions on the blizzard's fall. "He gave me his memories. He told me to seek out the descendents of his sister, and himself even, and somehow end them." He paused. I can't really do that. No, I--I mean I won't. And I can't. But I mean I don't want to." He looked back at her. "You're one of them."
-
"I said I'm not doing it," said Cri-cri.
He looked at Star. "Kind of. There's this bunch of cats out there, and they're...how do I explain this. They're trying to breed this powerful demon cat...why did I even try to explain." He walked on.
-
Cri-cri purred. "Thull's mission, it seems pretty impossible. Not just you but hundreds of others probably. I say we travel south to find out where it all started." He paused. "Even Thull doesn't really know that. He only knows what he remembers."
-
"I need to know more before I can do anything," said Cri-cri, "and I sure won't be going around randomly killing people. That's not going to accomplish anything."
-
"Wow, in this weather?" Cri-cri, bounded over to see. He looked at the grasshopper and snapped it up in his mouth and ate it. "Not bad. Crunchy. Nice to meet you, kid. I'm Cri-cri."
-
Cri-cri woke up at that point.
"Who--" He looked down and saw an unfamiliar cub wrapped around his leg. "Who's this?"
That wasn't the half of it.
"Where's Tellurah? Where's Shaniya? Shrick!"
-
"i...sure, I..must've been asleep pretty bad. Yeah I remember now. You okay? Sorry I had a...kind of bad dream and two of our cats are missing," said Cri-cri. "I think something bad happened to them."
-
"Could be better. Shrick!" Cri-cri got up and darted out the den and into the snow. He looked around for the tom. "Where'd he go? He out hunting?"
-
"Yeah well when some crazy fox stumbles into bunch of cougars I'm going to kill it. Only an ill animal would do that. Why do you care anyway? There's a dead deer over there, no sympathy for that animal and it wasn't even bothering anyone. It's just all meat to us. We got to eat and we got to live. If you want gang up on me I'll kick you both out." Shrick growled, he wasn't going to put up with this crap.
"Cri-cri what's the matter?" he asked as the other tom came running up.
"Shaniya and Tellurah," said Cri-cri, "they're gone and I think something happened to them."
"Shit." Shrick shook his head. "I'll go look for them. You go deal with these two. I think they like you more than me."
He bounded off then and Cri-cri was left watching them.
"Um...so what happened? Never mind--I don't want to know."
-
Cri-cri nodded, "yeah I smell it, not interested in whatever it is. But Domo caught a fresh deer. So did Faina. You hungry?"
He wondered how he could be sitting here talking about food at a time like this, but hey. You didn't always know where your next meal was coming from.
-
"i'm not sure," said Cri-cri, looking up at them in the distance.
-
Cri-cri was just returning and the first cat he saw was Faina. "Hi faina!"

Faina gave a purr and turned to him. "Hi Cri-cri. What you been up to?" she asked. She looked to the cub against her."Oh this is a cub I found when I was helping to find Kemao." she said to Cri-cri looking from Cri-cri to Abel.
Abel stepped away from Faina for a bit. "wow you big." he said looking up at Cri-cri.
"Whoa, hey there, I'm Cri-cri...So uh, Faina you just found him out there?" said the tom. "nobody else around?"
-
ooc: Thank you. I've been too busy keeping up with this one.
ic: "Faina, I think we should find a separate area for now, it's too chaotic around here." Cri-cri sure didn't want Abel to have to deal with those two other cubs, who were completely out of control.
-
"Keep him?" Cri-cri grinned. "Well, why not. First things first though we need some space. Let's go find a little camp a way aways from here, we can go back and forth and visit when we like."
