"Yes..I see that." Cri-cri didn't want to investigate. He wanted to get away from the body. He backed away from it and Kameo already had.
Shrick lay on his side as though he had collapsed where he was walking.
"Yes..I see that." Cri-cri didn't want to investigate. He wanted to get away from the body. He backed away from it and Kameo already had.
Shrick lay on his side as though he had collapsed where he was walking.
"Yeah." Cri-cri said it, though what he wanted to do really was just run. He felt like evil was closing in on them. "But after this, we need to get out of the area."
He began pushing snow over the body. Shrick had been a good friend and hunting companion. Almost like the brother he'd never have. Now he had joined Tellurah in whatever place awaited good cats like them. He hoped it was a better place than this.
"Yeah. Abel? Kameo?" Cri-cri called to the cubs. They sure didn't need to be left behind.
"I'm here but my mom's still out hunting." Kameo swallowed. "And Kole's still missing." She guessed he had gone out to hunt as well. At least she sincerely hoped so.
Azathoth came moving through the snow, slowly, with Yidra toddling alongside of him.
Azathoth was babbling again, seemingly lost in his own world.
"Those cats." Cri-cri kept his voice low. "They held me captive. I don't see why they wouldn't have done worse if they could've."
Cri-cri shook his head. "I don't know."
ooc: Seriously though. The help den has a lot of important stuff in it. :)
ic:
"No...Want to make okay." Azathoth nudged her cheek with his muzzle.
"You're tired," said Cri-cri. "It's pretty clear what direction we're going, so after this leg of the trip we can stop."
ooc: Oh, okay. I can let the staff know.
ic:
"We just got to be strong. Everyone dies eventually," said Cri-cri. "I know that's not what you wanted to hear. I wish I could say it better."
ooc: Please keep personal issues with staff to private channels of communication. Thanks. :)
ic: "I know, but it's best to move on," said Cri-cri. "He probably got internal injuries we didn't see."
"I remember that," said Cri-cri. He felt a flash of guilt then. He had not aided in the killings or known about them till after the fact, but he had been staying with Argent at the time.
"He gone," said Azathoth. "Killer. Gone."
"Argent did it," said Cri-cri.
"He gone," Azathoth licked his lips. "GONE." He looked over at Cri-cri. "Cri-cri help Argent. Long time ago."
Cri-cri shook his head. "I didn't see him. He did it though. He was trying to take over the area for his cats. Those two she-cats had already bred with another tom. He wanted them and their cubs dead. Good thing it didn't carry out."
Cri-cri nodded. "Yeah. That's the plan."
Ooc: lol. That was my phone glitching.
Ic: "Yeah, it's a good idea to stop here. We got no chance of finding Kole tonight," said Cri-cri. "It's cold and were all tired."
Cri-cri's gaze hung on her face for a moment, then he looked at his front paws. When he looked at her again, he was purring back. "Love you too."
He groomed his flank a moment.
"I don't know what it would do," said Cri-cri.
ooc: Snowy, please, can you calm down? Please, please stop the constant OOC comments. This is a roleplay thread. I have a lot to do tonight, I'm not even done wrapping my gifts. You can email me.
ic: "We can do our best," said Cri-cri. "Sooner or later thought we got to sleep. I'm going to sleep now."
ooc: I PMed you.
ic: "I'll stay with Abel." Cri-cri wouldn't leave him alone. If Faina was heading out for a bit, he'd stay. He was soon asleep. Mostly the day had exhausted him so much he had no energy left.
ooc: You too! And happy new year.
ic: Cri-cri awoke, and was hungry too. Azathoth and Yidra were curled up asleep, Kameo doing the same nearby, next to her adopted younger sister.
He headed off to hunt.
Thanks :)
ic:
Cri-cri soon returned. "Hey, Faina. I got a kill. You can follow the tracks back, or all of us can go." He didn't want Azathoth coming because that monster cat would eat it all in minutes. However, Azathoth just didn't seem hungry at this time. He was sleeping.
ooc: It's fine.
ic: "Sounds good." Cri-cri led the way to the deer he'd killed. It was a typical deer, a bit thin example of a buck. Cri-cri uncovered it and started eating.
