A clanner. The priest was instantly on her feet. After a year of being isolated from the wretched beings, they'd finally come to disturb the peace of this undisturbed land... no, that was harsh of her. She shouldn't be thinking like that. Not now.Tentatively, she'd will her gaze to shift toward where the voice had come. From where she'd chosen to linger - under a small, flowering bush - it was hard to make him out. He'd said that he was from ThunderClan, didn't the boy?
She felt a small twinge of resentment as she slid out from underneath her shelter. Her old clan. Certainly he wasn't a part of it a year ago. The cream tabby shouldn't be allowing it to affect her. She'd sworn to a life of peace and helping others after abandoning the different groups about. But it was all still there. The grudges and hatred... She simply couldn't shake it.
But what was this? She was surprised to see the creature before her was a canine. Looked like the anti's had won the damn war. Hmph. Silently, she found herself wondering when it had ended. It had been what... one, two years since she'd left? Two. Yes. It was hard keeping track of time when she was so isolated from others.
Though skeptical, she continued until she stood a little behind Noel, though no words of greeting left her mouth. The cream remained still; her expression, mostly unreadable, but it indeed added to her air of caution.
To trust or not to trust? Her mind logically chose the first, but her heart, the latter.

"You there, where'd you come from and what's your name?"The creme was silent for a moment, taking in the words with something of a clam skepticism. It was quite common of her to run into this kind, ever since she'd abandoned the life of a clanner. People who would claim an acre of more of plentiful land for no one but themselves - perhaps a few select others, but that was it.
Within her own, quiet mind, she found herself frowning upon it with a considerable amount of odium. Particularly now that humans were beginning to eat up more and more of their precious feral lands.
However, for now, she'd remain silent as she lingered nearby. With her left forepaw - the only paw that still had claws on it, she'd subconsciously fiddle with the silver amulet hanging from her neck as she waited for a reply from whoever the question had been presented to.

@Redwolfy - I'd gladly take a thread with Palechild! nwnQuestionstar - Hmm. Perhaps you could develop the character's personality first and then decide based on it? That's what I usually do. :) Ooh! Or perhaps they could be completely unacquainted with the terms and simply identify as a wanderer or something else that indicates they're not part of a clan?
