Copperpelt purred happily as they spoke. "Yes, that means you'll be a warrior soon, right?" Sandypaw nodded, she had finished her vole long ago. "I can't wait. One other apprentice will be a warrior before me, but I can't be far behind." She stood in a playful attack stance. Copperpelt growled jokingly, "Your brother and sister, they'll become warriors with you." Sandypaw thought of her sister, almost ready to begin training again. "Hope so." Her tail flicked happily.

Sandypaw could feel her senses dulling as she talked to the tom. He listens to everything I say! She purred loudly as the first rays of light began to poke over the mountains. "I should go." Copperpelt said, turning his head to see the sun. "I hope we can speak again." He looked at her joyfully, beginning to stalk away. "I look forward to it." Sandypaw meowed proudly, looking at the massive tom. You really are a good cat aren't you.
-
Sandypaw walked happily into the clearing, she carried with her two rabbits and a large mouse. Good thing prey is plentiful this time of year. She thought, dropping her kill into the pile with the rest. "Good morning Ashenpaw." She mewled at her brother, who was just now slinking out of his den. "Why are you up so early?" His voice was weary as he grabbed the mouse eagerly. "You'll never become a warrior if an opponent like mornings can defeat you." Her tail rose above her head as she picked a large swallow off of the pile to bring to the elders. She had cleaned herself thoroughly, it wasn't Copperpelt's scent that worried her, sense they had been in the herb fields, but fresh prey scent was strong.
-
Sandypaw stretched, her back ached from lack of sleep, but nobody needed to know that. "Good morning Duststorm." She mewed to her mentor as he crawled out of the warrior's den. "Can we go training by the sparrow tree?" Her favorite place in all of Frostclan territory was the sparrow tree. It was full of playful bird nests, and surrounded by the most beautiful trees.

No, what does bumpy mean?
-
Ashenpaw nodded as he gnawed on his food. "I'm all ears." He yawned, showing his sharp fangs as he sat down next to Willowpaw. She looked as if she was about to speak, but she was interrupted by Hazelstar. "Willowpaw, you've been an apprentice for 6 moons now, correct?" He looked at Ashenpaw dismissively. "I'll leave you two alone." he said wandering off. With that look, he might as well have just told me to leave.

OOOOOOHHHHHH that makes sense. Shall we continue?
-
Ehren sighed, "We can just..." A bitter taste filled his mouth as he spoke. "We could just run." A sigh filled his throat again as he thought of the alternative. There has to be some other way, some way we can fight. His mind searched the farthest reaches of his brain, someway we can win without hurting Camryn.
-
Ashenpaw had a look of fear and disbelief in his eyes, "Was she hurt?" He mewed carefully, trying not to be overheard. "There must be some reason for it." He hissed silently.
Hazelstar wandered over to Robinthorn, a large mouse and a rabbit in his jaw. "Here." He dropped the prey at her paws, then sat beside her and began to eat the mouse. "I think it's time for Willowpaw to become a warrior." He meowed between bites.
(What do you think about Willowblaze as a warrior name.) -
"I know!" Ehren blurted, his eyes filled with excitement. "Why don't we just do to them what they did to us." Pierce and the others looked at him, bewildered. "We have one person watching the border from the shadows, then when they come, they'll have an ambush waiting." His idea was met with silence, not confused or angry silence, but silence of thought. That way, I can get Camryn out before he even has the chance to get hurt.
-
"This sun down." He responded proudly. Willowpaw had been his apprentice for 6 moons, and she had become a wonderful clan cat. "I'll tell her." He mewed happily, then stood and strutted towards the apprentices.
Ashenpaw murmured to himself. "Maybe she was tricking him, or it was a different warrior." He looked away from Willowpaw. "I just can't believe that my sister is a traitor."
Sandypaw followed Duststorm, happily jumping on prey. "This is the best spot for catching birds."She mewed, "No wonder the other clans are jealous." As she spoke, a rustle came from the brush in front of her, and the terrible scent caught her nose, but also, milk and warmth. Kittypets? -
"I'll keep watch, and I'll run as fast as I can the moment I see them." His eyes filled with thrill. "They put us through this very thing one too many times!" Adrenaline pumped through him, and Camryn was pushed to the back of his mind. "It's time they got what was coming to them!"
-
Hazelstar looked suspiciously at the apprentices as they whispered, but he decided to dismiss it. "Willowpaw, are you prepared to take on the responsibilities of a warrior?"
Sandypaw instinctively unsheathed her claws. "Leapordclan." She said, forcing her claws to hide themselves. "We can't attack unless they have prey." As she spoke, a large grey warrior slipped through the leaves, he nodded his head at the warriors and spoke. "Hello, may I speak to Hazelstar?" -
Pierce eyed Ehren as they entered camp, looking him up and down suspiciously. What does he have in mind? From what the leader had discovered, Ehren had divided attention between the teams. He thought the idea was excellent, but why did he volunteer? Does he plan to betray us?
-
Hazelstar let slip a purr of pride. "Good, then this afternoon, you'll become a full warrior of Frostclan." He nodded at the cat respectfully. "You were a wonderful apprentice." His words were nontraditional, but they were meant to be said.
Sandypaw nodded, "Yes, I'll bring home as much as I can." With that, she set off. She followed a scent trail, and by some sick irony, she was lead to the herb fields. What! How did I get here? She turned to leave, but the sound of tiny paw steps reached her ears. A mouse was hopping along the grass, begging to be caught. "Guess this isn't a bad place to hunt." A part of her wanted to meet Copperpelt here, the other part wanted to run as far away as possible. Many prey scents caused her to stay. After catching a few rabbits, she heard a familiar voice, "Sandypaw? Why are you here?" -
Ehren had chosen to patrol on the right side of the border, and to his delight, Camryn was there. Just separate! He prayed, throwing a rock to the left of them. The group froze and Camryn and the female walked ran over to it. This is good. He sprang on the inkling left, landing a brush stroke against his chest, killing him easily. When they get back, I'll get the girl, then I can get him out.
-
"A Leapordclan cat came to see Hazelstar." She picked up the limp rabbit. "He told me to get as much prey as possible, then to come home." She took a deep breath. "This place in full to the brim with prey."
-
Ehren pounced as soon as the pair were in range, he tackled Skyler to the ground, holding her hands behind her back. He held his brush nimbly in one hand, prepared to strike at any moment. "Run." He ordered, without looking at Camryn, he knew that they both knew who he was speaking to. "Cyan is ready, but I can't let you warn purple again." Denial brushed into his words. "So get out of here and wait somewhere were I can make sure you're safe."
-
The Leapordclan warrior had entered the clan, and other than a few hostile stares, caused no trouble. He followed Duststorm into Hazelstar's den, and left him there. "Yes, what is it?" Hazelstar looked at the warrior suspiciously. "You were instructed only to come if you have information on Copperpelt." The warrior nodded. "My name is Oaktail, and I have come do deliver news on Copperpelt. Good news."
