BTW, I'm leaving tomorrow on vacation and will only be on for a few minutes at a time but I should be able to answer at least once a day. But I don't know if I will have internet.

[color=black]Jennifer nods slowly in thought. She watched as June glared at them, fire in her eyes. "What is she brother?" She said, walking towards June. June narrows her eyes. "I would stop there unless you want to be hurt." She growls. Jennifer laughs. She was used to slaves threatening her.
Disregarding June's warning, Jennifer approached her. And June attacked. She lunged at Jennifer, taking her by surprise. Grabbing her thin arms in one hand, June locked them behind Jennifer's back. She used her other hand to pull the chain around her neck. And choke her.
-
June narrows her eyes. Harlan`s threats didn't even faze her. Grinning harshly, she stands. She watched Harlan carefully, getting ready for whatever he had planned. She couldn't help herself; she wanted to see what he was made of. Jennifer stares at June. She had never been attacked by anyone before. She looks at Harlan, fear in her eyes. (Kindle sucks)
-
June watches them, whatever she thought guarded. Jennifer however was shaking, still terrified. Her hand kept going to her throat, rubbing where the chain had been. She was sore all over, not just where June had hurt her. Too exhausted by it all to do anything, she rested against Harlan.
June meanwhile had moved on from watching them. She had figured out what she wanted to know. Despite knowing Harlan was watching her, she began tugging on her collar. She knew if she could get it off, she could run.

THE BEGINNING
{AGE 8}
She stood alone in a darken room. She was in the certain of it, looking at a metal door. The empire's symbol was pained on it, and she could hear voices on the other side. Uneasy, she approached the door. She knew she wasn't suppose to open the door but for some reason she didn't care. "Le, we can't." a young girl's voice begs from beside her. She looks over at who spoke but there was no one there. No one was ever there.
Frowning, she kept going to the door. She felt a tiny hand grab onto her arm but Le didn't care. She kept walking. It seemed like forever. But finally she reached the door. She began to reach out to grab it but the door slid open first. And she screamed.
"Le!" the green eyed boy was shouting as he shock her awake. Gasping, she sat up straight, breathing hard and shaking. The boy, Jarred, sat down beside her, placing a gentle hand on her shoulder. "Did you have the dream again?" he asked. Le nods yes, still breathing too hard to answer. She shock her head, trying to clear her terror. She hadn't that dream, nightmare, memory. Whatever it was.Jarred gave her a worried smile. "Are you sure I didn't tell you anything about my past?"Le asked him as she always did. Le and Jarred had been caught in an explosion a few months back and Le hadn't been able to recall her past ever since. And she sensed Jarred was hiding something.
Jarred nods. "I told you. We had agreed not to talk about our pasts since we're both 'traitors' according to the empire."he said. Le had ran away from an orphanage when she was four, and Jarred had stolen some food to feed his family. Both of them had broken the law and they would be killed if they were caught.
Le sighs, exhausted. Why did Jarred hide her past from her? She knew something had happened beyond just her running away from a place to make the empire go after her. But what could it be? Le didn't have a clue. And the only person who did wouldn't tell her.
Then there was a bang. It was the sound of an explosion; the two children would know it from anywhere. Jumping up, they took off for the back of the small cave they called home. But they knew before they got there that it was too late. The light of a red lightsaber confirmed that.
The two glanced at each other. "We can't fight him." Jarred whispered, fright in is voice. Le gulps and looks around for anything that could help them. Then she saw it; a hole in the roof. Before Jarred could say anything, she used the Force to lift him up and through the hole. Then he attacked, slashing the lightsaber at the exposed girl. And the cave was filled with the screams of death.

I understand. I'm stuck on my phone because of Internet problems.
June had glared at Harlan, her eyes yellow before he had turned her head to the side. The moment he whispered into her ear, she had began shaking. No one had ever bit her before, and it made her scared. No other punishment had ever made her scared.
The burning made her want to scream. Instead, she bit her tongue. She tasted the salty and rusty taste of blood in moments, but still didn't allow herself to scream. Screaming would reveal weakness.
Finally being able to bite back the scream, she hissed between clentched teeth, "I told you Harlan. You won't tame me."
-
I'm having Internet problems so I won't be role playing
-
June snorts. "You honestly think I believe that? I'm no fool as you may think. And I am certainly no one's pet." She said, fire in her voice. Sge rubbed the place where he had bite her gently, grimacing some at the pain. Sighing, she stood slowly.
June went to the windowand gazed out. She missed the days of freedom. But she also found it strange. How could she miss something she could barely remember? June shook her head; no point in thinking of the past.
Not thinking Harlan was paying attention to her, she whispered softly to herself. "Where are you my little rose? I wonder what you look like now. I wonder if you still desire the same freedom I do or if you have given up. " She pauses and sighs. "Or if they have broken you."
-
Yes. Very creepy ;)
June moved away from him, ignoring the glass completely. Turning back to the bed, she sat down. "You treat me as a fool. Everyone has. That's how everyone else sees slaves. A bunch of fools that need guidence. Why should I think you believe anything different? "She demands, her voice harsh.
Sighing, she stood and began pacing. She was on edge. She suddenly stopped and looked at the door. A growl rumbled from her throat and laughter filled the air. Harlan's oldest younger brother, a slave fighter, was at the door. His name was Quince.
