Why does Shadowpaw remind me of my old family? She thought as she decided to go hunting by herself. My family is dead, and I thought forgotten...Shadowpaw isn't the cat that the clan thinks she is. She padded out of camp.

Moonfeather sat in the clearing next to Honeyheart. She could only train for a short amount of time before she had to check on her kits.
Echoflight impatiently waited for Willowstar to speak.

Riversong's eyes opened and she ran out of camp, following Shadowpaw's sent. She made it to the river where Goldfeather and Dustkit were. She looked over the edge in disbelief. Tears rolled down her face but she stayed silent.

Riversong put her tail infront of Moonfire to stop him. "She's dead...come on lets go back to camp..." She sighed without lifting her head. tears were still rolling down her face.

"Because my family was also killed...I know how she felt, and I think she was my sister..." Riversong mewed. "Even if she did try to kill kits, I always forgave her. Even if she wasn't my sister, she still reminded me of my family. But now she's gone, and my memory of her will also be gone soon..."She was trying to hold back more tears.

Riversong looked at Ravenspark and padded into camp.

"Yes I know..." Riversong sighed. "But I know she wasn't truely a bad cat, she just did bad things. She had a good heart once..."

Riversong padded into the warriors den and slept near the back.

Riversong lifted her head.

"Wait." Riversong mewed to Ravenspark. "If there is any chance that she is alive...can I come with you?"

Riversong smiled back. "Thanks." She mewed.

Riversong followed Ravenspark to the camp entrance.

A young wolf, barely a year or two old, padded in behind the she-wolf. "I thought I smelled other wolves." He said.

"I need a pack." He said evenly. "When I was a pup I was left to die by my old pack because I was the runt of my litter. Weaknesses were not tolerated in my old pack. Oh...by the way, I'm Rin."

"Thank you." Rin said, smiling slightly. "But I know another wolf that needs a pack," Rin turned around. "Yuri! Come out it's safe!" A she-wolf who looked about the same age as Rin padded out from the bushes.

Riversong followed Ravenspark. The closer she got to the riverthe more hopeful she got that Shadowpaw might be alive.

Riversongs' ears pricked at what Moonfire said, but she stayed quiet.
