Shotpaw's ears had rose to the sound of a voice calling for a meet and greet, something he had never attended but probably should. He lifted himself from the ground with joy, and bounded over to the sound, where he found the few. His tail flicked, and with one breath, he said "Hello."

Shot lowered himself to the ground, his judgemental, yet beautiful pale gray eyes scanning the two. "I'm Shotpaw." He licked his own shoulder, as if trying to get rid of anxiety that he felt, having to communicate and all to complete and total strangers.

Shot lowered his head to the border collie, a silent way of repeating his hello. He looked up to Library, "Nice to meet you..." He raised his head to take in the scents surrounding him as a breeze had passed. "Lovely weather we're having, isn't it?"

Shot continued to glance at the new arrival of faces, he felt honestly sad that kits had more friends than he had... but that was the point of attending a meet and greet. He chuckled a little as the two kits began to communicate, and his eyes rested on a new face. "Hello..." He mewed toward the male.

ShotPaw lifted his head, he could hear someone not too far away announcing a meet and greet. Yay, another one! Shot leaped to his paws with joy, and quickly padded toward the voice. He'd only attended one other, and was even more happy when he discovered the familiar face there as well. He sat down next to PlatonicPaw, "Hello." He greeted him happily before turning to the others. "Greetings everyone, I'm ShotPaw." He said once more, only a bit louder for the others to hear.

Shot lowered his head in a bowing motion of understanding, and his ears lifted when the cat finally stood. "Alright," He purred, "I'm ShotPaw by the way."

ShotPaw would have offered to go hunting by himself for the other, as it was his duty after all, to hunt for those older than him. However, Shot hadn't actually gone hunting alone yet.

Shot raised his eyebrows, "Really?" He then chuckled a little, "That would explain why you're unfamiliar to me." He then flicked his tail toward a few trees, where behind them he knew would be a big, beautiful clearing. Perfect for hunting. "I don't mind bringing them along, but I know the perfect place to hunt." He listened carefully to the one older than him, and bowed his head with pride. "Thank you, ThornWhisker."

Shotpaw closed eyes his with pleasure, grinning softly. His eyes opened and looked at the other, giggling softly as the two began to argue again. "Oh, come on guys." He chirped, "We should go now before it gets late." He waved his tail playfully in the air.

Shotpaw looked at the ground to smile, "Nice meeting you as well." He then toward her once more, tilting his head a little. "Oh, that's just a habit of mine." He said with the flick of his ear. "Sorry about that."

Shot continued to observe the group, and truthfully he was only here to collect new friends. The young tom did get quite lonely at times, and with loneliness came the common case of depression. What he wouldn't do, just to have a best friend... "You all have got such unique names." He purred softly.

Shotpaw nodded as they began to separate, the hunt was on. He quickly moved into the bushes near the trees, lowering himself to the ground to keep himself hidden. Shot licked his lips as his eyes landed on a small white mouse, and he instantly sprang from the bushes. The mouse squeeked, and barely got away. His paw had touched the mouse's tail, and when he moved his paw the mouse had escaped.

He cursed under his breath, and was surprised to hear rustling in bushes nearby. He straightened himself to appear taller, his attention being brought to the bushes. "Here we go.." He whispered and crouched down to the ground, preparing to leap--- a bird flew from the bushes and caused him to jump at the sudden movement.

Right after the bird flew away, and he had been startled, that same white mouse went running from the bushes across from him. "Forget about hiding..." He said, sprinting toward the mouse. His paws landed directly on its back, and he instantly went for the kill.

Shotpaw dropped the dead mouse and smiled polietly, "Thank you." He nodded a little. His ears then perked, and he looked toward the loud yowl. "Someone needs help!" He shouted before sprinting off in the direction of the yowl.

A fight. Something Shot was not skilled at. He knew very little about defense, and very little about attacking others. He breathed in and out, thinking hard on what he should do. He was scared.

The apprentice could smell blood from miles away, especially fresh blood. He made his way to the scent, and once he realized that it was an injured rogue, he had stopping coming forward. "S-state your business!" He demanded with fear. Never had he been this close to a rogue. "I can get you help if needed!" He began to feel bad.
