Artemis waved his small, bushy tail as he padded inside of the dark house looming before him. He didn't know what it was, but the house seemed to be calling his name. "Artemis..Artemis..Come inside! he heard in his head. Artemis reluctantly padded up and pushed inside. Once he was in, the door slammed shut behind him and wouldn't open. Fear sprung into the tiny kit's body and he gazed around, hoping to find some sort of warrior to help him. -

Artemis padded forwards and looked around. A tall ghost zoomed past him, earning a loud yelp from the tiny Fireferra. Artemis scrambled faster, looking around. Suddenly, his paw slipped into a hole and he went tumbling down inside. Now he was on a totally new floor. -

Artemis lifted himself to his paws and stumbled towards a wall. This floor was pitch black and he couldn't see anything. -

Artemis raced for a set of stairs that were right in front of his nose. As he came to the top, he noticed eery singing coming from the room next to him. He padded into it, his ears pinned against his head. "Who's there?" he cried out. -

Artemis made a running start for another room, trying to outrun the singing cat behind him. Her voice was cracked, off-key, and scary. He looked over his shoulder and saw parts of her skin were missing, exposing bone and muscle. He saw her right eye was missing and her lip was curled as she sung. -
Artemis ran a corner and hid behind a tall table. He heard the she-cat's claws clicking on the ground as she passed by, still singing her horrid song.

Artemis peeked out behind the table to find out where the she-cat was. The fireferra jumped into the air as the she-cat appeared beside him, a wicked smile on her torn up muzzle. Artemis took off running, screeching loudly. The she-cat blinked. "I was just trying to play~" she grinned and chased after him

Artemis looked around, searching for someone who could help him. "Help!" he cried out, coming up to a dead end.

Artemis comes to a room filled with flickering lights. He shoots inside, hoping to loose the she-cat in the darkness. It turns out to be a mirror room, so he basically just sees about 300 of himself, plus 300 of the she-cat. But she's not behind him, beside him, or in front of him, so where was she? A paw shot out of the glass and grabbed Artemis, dragging him into the mirror.

Artemis raced into another room and shut the door. He heard pounding as the she-cat tried to break in. He ducked behind a bookshelf and waited, hoping she would go away

Artemis shoved a book in front of him and made it like a barricade around his frail Fireferra body.

Artemis looked around, frantically searching for something to attack the she-cat with. He found a small dagger laying on the ground beneath the shelf which he gladly picked up in his teeth. -

Artemis pushed the book down and rushed at the she-cat who had broken through the door. He thrusted the blade into her chest, which caused her to drop. Black blood spilled everywhere and her form disappeared with a sickening screech. -

Artemis held onto the blade and ran into other rooms, searching for a way out. -

Artemis saw a large curtain hanging from a window and he ran to it. The window was barred up and blocked off. The glass was too thick to break anyways. With a disappointed sigh, the tiny Nightferra jumped off the window and landed on the dusty floor, which caused it to break under his paws, sending him crashing to another floor.
