what the hell was that sound? helena rushed over to see weston, who she knew a little bit, lying on the floor. "i'll get some water to clean off the blood," she offered, dashing away to grab an empty, plastic jug and fill it up with some of the liquid. she couldn't fill it up all the way, for it was too heavy, but it wouldn't be a problem if she could make multiple trips.

there was a slight uncomfortable twitch in her gums; had it always been there? with her sharp teeth, she'd always assumed things were normal. helena had never had to hunt or protect herself, and so when she chewed her paw, there was a slight stinging sensation. "ouch!" the pup exclaimed, unsure of what it was. hopefully someone could help out soon, because even though helena was unaware of it, the venom that had gone into her paw couldn't be a good thing.

    [she has venomous fangs]

she didn't waste time; as the injury seemed pretty serious. herbs and medicinal crap wasn't her thing, but it was common sense to wipe some of the blood away. the pup scampered away without saying anything; her duty was to now find a piece of cloth to wipe away the blood. something like a t-shirt would do. she ran everywhere; digging through little piles of human litter that people had carelessly thrown away. nothing. goddamnit. why did nothing go to her advantage?

"finally!" helena squealed, when she found an old, ripped up shirt. it was old and she had to shake off some of the bugs on it; but it was usable. grabbing the article of clothing and running as fast as she could [which sucked because she was really bad a * like this], she made it. while the grown ups were doing the important work, she would try and fix up his fur.

carefully pouring some of the ice cold water onto the cloth, the canine grabbed the wet shirt and applied it to some of the bloodier areas. hopefully the water would also give a cooling relief to the poor thing. she was nervous that there was too much pressure being placed; but she kept at it.

well, those were certainly comforting words. "thanks for letting me know," helena muttered under her breath, but it really was useful. at least she had an advantage for something when she grew up! "helena," she introduced, even though it wasn't really a good time to introduce each other. but what else was there to do? and a half-brother? wow, she guessed that they had multiple litters. kind of like nearlykit.

her chest started to swell at nos's comment. "thanks! i'm not completely useless now." maybe these things were more useful than she thought. the scent of alcohol seemed to stick forever on him; she was even getting used to it now. now that she thought about it, that wasn't exactly a good thing. refraining from commenting, she simply asked, "how's your day been?"

"a carnival sounds fun!" exclaimed the black pup, joining the group of older folks. she didn't really have many good ideas, but it was interesting to hear what everyone had to say. "along with fighting skills and everything, we could hold herb and medical training sessions, too," helena offered. "that way, we can fix up minor scratches of wounds on our own without someone else."

"wes," helena decided to call him that because it just sounded more natural. "would you like some water?" there was some remaining in the jug, after she'd finished getting most of the blood out. there were still some spots of pink and red, but he'd get that out with a bit of grooming and a dip in the water.

"are you okay enough to move your head? i can always get some moss to put in your mouth," helena offered, quickly getting a small dish to pour some water in. she also got some moss, just in case. she carefully poured some water, but a little overflowed. she made sure there was a little bit to pour on the moss, in case wes didn't feel like moving his head.

being a pup herself, the young one made her way over rambunctiously. "hiii," helena drawled on, seeing some familiar faces. the only one she wasn't too sure she'd seen was yuki. dad was drowning himself in whiskey, and she felt as if there was nothing should could do about it. as for william, well, he wasn't even a father. nos had promised her to go out and meet him, but at this rate, she was considering to convince someone to take her.

since her dad was too busy drinking away all of his worries, and his other dad was 'dead' (a.k.a hiding in another clan like a little bitch), helena decided to do some wandering of her own. she packed some food and started travelling. who knew some of the thunderclanners were so oblivious? oh well. she ended up at some weird smelling border.

the young wolf pup knew better than to simply cross, so she hung around here, getting to know the territory. weird.

"honestly, you probably know what my dad enjoys more than i do. other than alcoholic drinks, anyways," helena sighed, managing a fake grin. "i should get nearly and danny and all them. i have no clue if it's going to help, but i'm sure he could use it."

it was a very unfamiliar voice and sound. she turned around, seeing the kitsune. "oh hello!" helena barked loudly, tongue lopping out on the side of her mouth. "i'm helena, from thunderclan. my dads are off doing their own thing, so i thought i would take a field trip. dad says it's good to explore," she shrugged.

helena frowned in sympathy. "one of my fathers is gone too. he weaseled off somewhere because he was a coward, or so my other dad said." boy, gay drama was tough drama. "it's good to meet you too," she added. "i'd never expect to land here, honestly." how far had she gone?

although they had not officially met, helena knew when someone was having a rough day. "i'll get you some water," she offered to united, and slipped away to get a jug of it. It would be nice if it were warm, because in her mind, that always brought comfort. all the young one knew was that the dragon was having a rough time sleeping. maybe it was just a bad dream.

she came over with the water, carefully, but some of the water slipped out of the small hole as it was quite heavy. "is there anything you want to talk about?" she was probably a complete stranger. in the adult's eyes, probably a clueless, stupid one, but it was better to ask than anything. silence wasn't going to get them anywhere.

the other daughter of nosferatu came over, and immediately noticed the dull and slightly tense atmosphere. although nearlykit and her didn't really know each other too well, a blind animal could probably tell that she wasn't too happy about her father's response. instead of retorting with a sarcastic remark, the pup just took a seat near nearly (hah) and shut up.
